I am uploading only photos of my home this time, per review guidelines. I self-contracted our home for the last 6 months and have knowledge on the subject as I was forced to have several roofers, contractors, and manufacturers inspect Alex's work. Our superintendent even got in touch with Alex's crew directly and they informed him that they knowingly used a bad batch of shingles because they were trying to dry in the home too quickly. It was also evident that the underlayment ice shield was not pulled tight as it should have been, which caused the ripple effect. I will not excuse the framers (as Alex points out) for their part, but the issue with shingles and ice shield were not because of framing. You can see in the images the issues caused by the framing and then you can clearly see rippling as well. The sheathing did not delaminate but did warp, and a good/responsible roofer would call that out instead of knowingly installing bad shingles on a roof you know will have issues. Perhaps Alex has been roofing longer under a different company... but his original license was issued in 2022. I prefer not to communicate this way but as Alex has not replied to a single text message or call, it seems this was the only option to get his attention.

I can't say enough good about Cody and Epic Roofing. Back in August, we had wind damage. He…read moreworked very hard to get the insurance company to pay for a new roof, but they simply wouldn't despite all his effort and back and forth phone calls and emails. He fixed the wind damage for a very reasonable price of $600 and then gave us a bid for a new roof. Last week I contacted him saying we were ready to have our new roof put on. They just finished it yesterday. They started tearing off Thursday afternoon and were finished by Friday afternoon. It was all cleaned up after they left. He also discounted the roof by the $600 we paid for the original wind damage repair. So I contacted him on April 5th and the roof was completely finished on April 15th. All of our neighbors have gotten their roofs done in the last year so we know how long it normally takes. One neighbor who just got his roof done by someone else, came over to ask about our contractor because they were so incredibly fast and efficient.

When here he rehired a man who had stoled from him. Yet he forgave the man and put him back to work, "after a few weeks as punishment". He did keep a close eye on his men and I felt safe having them here. Mark did most the work himself as he trained the others on his crew. Absolutely horrible job. None of the fence posts are straight...2-3" out of plumb. It doesn't even…read morefollow the contour of the ground. Some of the posts are even shorter than the fence panels! It's as if I hired high school kids who had never built a fence before to do the job. Totally unacceptable, but if he had at least fixed one of the really bad posts I would have been satisfied enough to not have to waste my time writing this review. The only thing worse than the quality of the fence was his service...too much bad to say to even begin. Some details: Adam installed a vinyl fence with gates (total about 30') last November 2022 but it was way out of plumb (especially the latch post of the 10' gate, which was over 2" out of plumb). He promised to come take a look after Thanksgiving but didn't. I contacted him but he said he had other jobs and couldn't come until after Christmas. He didn't come. I contacted him again and he said he had other high priority jobs and couldn't come until after the new year. After contacting him several more times I was finally able to get him to come mid-January and reset the gate latch post, but he put it in essentially the same place...still 2" out of plumb. For several months he kept promising me he'd get it fixed but kept putting me off behind other jobs. In August 2023 a storm destroyed the gate (because he failed to put a couple important bolts in the latch). He fixed the broken gate (but he charged me another $150 to do it), but he didn't get to the post repair because it started to rain. He said he would come back and fix it in a couple days when the rain stopped. After several more weeks of trying to get him to come back, and after he kept putting me behind other "high priority" jobs, he finally said he was upset about problems with his help, with the industry, and with the country and he refused to fix my gate post because "it just isn't worth it". Wow! That was professional. I will probably have to end up hiring another company to redo the entire fence and suing Adam Jensen for the entire cost. Reviewers who gave this company greater than 2 stars must have been reviewing some other company...it couldn't have possibly been Adam Jensen Fencing. I gave him one star but would prefer if I could give -5!!

Simply put, Nelson did an incredible job, and the results exceeded all our expectations. One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out. His attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the project, edges were sharp, lines were clean, and there was absolutely no sloppiness. He also went above and beyond when it came to prepping the area. The patched areas blend in flawlessly with the surrounding wall, both in texture and paint color. Throughout the entire process, Nelson kept us fully informed. He let us know when he would arrive, when he was wrapping up each day, and gave regular updates on progress. It's refreshing to work with someone who values communication and follows through on every promise. He quoted us a fair and competitive price for the work, and we felt we received incredible value given the high level of quality and care he put into everything.
