Absolutely horrible job. None of the fence posts are straight...2-3" out of plumb. It doesn't even…read morefollow the contour of the ground. Some of the posts are even shorter than the fence panels! It's as if I hired high school kids who had never built a fence before to do the job. Totally unacceptable, but if he had at least fixed one of the really bad posts I would have been satisfied enough to not have to waste my time writing this review. The only thing worse than the quality of the fence was his service...too much bad to say to even begin. Some details: Adam installed a vinyl fence with gates (total about 30') last November 2022 but it was way out of plumb (especially the latch post of the 10' gate, which was over 2" out of plumb). He promised to come take a look after Thanksgiving but didn't. I contacted him but he said he had other jobs and couldn't come until after Christmas. He didn't come. I contacted him again and he said he had other high priority jobs and couldn't come until after the new year. After contacting him several more times I was finally able to get him to come mid-January and reset the gate latch post, but he put it in essentially the same place...still 2" out of plumb. For several months he kept promising me he'd get it fixed but kept putting me off behind other jobs. In August 2023 a storm destroyed the gate (because he failed to put a couple important bolts in the latch). He fixed the broken gate (but he charged me another $150 to do it), but he didn't get to the post repair because it started to rain. He said he would come back and fix it in a couple days when the rain stopped. After several more weeks of trying to get him to come back, and after he kept putting me behind other "high priority" jobs, he finally said he was upset about problems with his help, with the industry, and with the country and he refused to fix my gate post because "it just isn't worth it". Wow! That was professional. I will probably have to end up hiring another company to redo the entire fence and suing Adam Jensen for the entire cost. Reviewers who gave this company greater than 2 stars must have been reviewing some other company...it couldn't have possibly been Adam Jensen Fencing. I gave him one star but would prefer if I could give -5!!

They kept putting off our job, delaying us a couple months. They blamed their suppliers, but when we called their suppliers they didn't understand why Kodiak was telling us that. They finally came out to pour the footers and said they'd be back to finish in a couple days, then didn't call or show up when they said they would. Then they ghosted us for 3 weeks. We finally got them to come finish the job but then they tried charging us for our existing fencing. When we told them the bill was wrong, they denied it until they sent someone out to speak with us. They sent a new bill which was still incorrect. They began calling, texting, and emailing us daily saying that we were late paying them, even though the bill was still incorrect, acting like we were at fault. Steer clear of Kodiak unless you don't mind paying half the deposit up front, waiting months for them to do the job, then being harassed for payment on an incorrect bill.

They protect it with the plastic wrapping because the wood is outside in the yard. They have some nice people inside the office where they have plenty of samples and hardware. I had a great experience with this fence company. I had two different companies give estimates…read more--these people were the most professional by far. Also, I kept changing my mind and Lance was able to patiently send a revised estimate. He also helped me figure out what would be best for the property, in terms of preserving our view, gate placements, etc. I went with a 6' aluma-guard (looks like wrought iron) with 3 inch posts. I also finished my neighbor's fence to complete the coverage of my yard. Now I can keep the deer out of my garden, and my dogs in the yard. The deer and the dogs may not like it--but I LOVE it! They were able to get me on the schedule quickly because I began the process before spring--and the project was completed on budget. Thank you Stonehenge Fence! I chose them because the salesman was great and they came in about $1k under the other bids, and that $1k has easily been the most expensive thousand I've ever saved. The crew they sent clearly didn't know the product. Stuff was installed wrong, and they came out three separate times now trying to fix it. To be fair they did fix some of it, but it's still not even close to par with what I spent on the fence. There were many things they tried to get away with installing incorrectly and then came back to fix when asked but the one thing I really can't get over is the panel color differences. They installed panels that had color mis-matches, some are black some are gray, and it's not one bad section, it's all over the whole entire fence. Their answer was basically that it's a manufacturer thing, and the manufacturer won't do anything about it either. So I'm just stuck with it. Photos attached, judge for yourself. For what this cost it should not look like this. Please, if you are considering Stonehenge go with somebody else, it will potentially save you a lot of money, time and hassle in the long run.

We got our first quote from this company in February 2021. We got our posts installed early April and we're hopeful that supply chain issues were a nonissue. Our fence panels were finally installed around August but gate issues left part of our fence unfinished. Weeks went on with no communication. We finally started calling weekly. About September we got done posts in. The gate was too small so they had to come out and change it. Weeks went on. It is now December 1st, 2021...they came days ago with the same small gates and said they'd have to build new gates. We've heard nothing from them and I've not been able to have my children use our yard safely because it's not fenced in. I'm angry because we've been incredibly kind and helpful. I'm angry because we're on a half acre lot and four of our other neighbors did their half acre yards with them and they've been completed FOR MONTHS. I'm angry because we've already paid. I'm angry because Nothing is going right. I'm angry because I feel taken advantage of for my kindness and I don't want to be kind anymore. If you use then: beware of the waiting. Get everything in writing and double check their numbers because they tried to up our price multiple times citing supply chain and price changes but...ya'll we signed a contract. Got two independent bids that were thousands cheaper and went with another contractor. Kent then asked for ridiculous fees, including for digging post holes on the wrong side of the property. Tried to negotiate a settlement in good faith but Kent doesn't believe any of the issues are his fault. Keeps blaming us for "changing our minds." Was condescending to my wife throughout. Very, very disappointing.

I called Best Vinyl to receive a quote and was given one their salesman's numbers. The salesman was…read moreGreg Davis. We played a little phone tag, but he was very professional and prompt with calling me back. He came in on 1 July, a Wednesday and quoted me the job. The job was pretty simple. I had around 32 feet of fencing with one single swing 5ft gate. For 32ft of 5-1/2 rails and 11in slats, I was quoted $734.40, $750.00 for labor, and $315.00 for the gate. Total of $1799.40. Do I feel I received the best deal? I doubt it, but I did not look anywhere else so I can't confirm that. Greg talked to me about how the project would go. If I had to guess, he started out as a fence worker because he knew all the terminology and quoted me EXACTLY what they were going to do and they did EXACTLY that. Greg asked me to pay half up front and let me know about when they were projected to start, which was 16 August, about a month and a half out. 5 out of 5 for Greg and how he handled the quote and sales portion. The warranty is basically wind and abnormal deterioration of the product due to normal weathering. Obviously if you kick a hole in it or your kid hops on the gate and breaks it, you are on your own. They worked on my yard in two phases. Posts and then rails/slats. The post guys gave me a call to set-up a time to work on the posts around the 13th of August, which was 3 days earlier than they projected. They ended up coming in on the 16th due to high work-load. I believe his name was Shannon or could have been Shane. *Disclaimer, I see some of the reviews that claim Best Vinyl did not pay attention to the sprinklers. The Best Vinyl paperwork clearly states the following: "Customer Responsibility: Additional cost incurred due to utility or sprinkler damage, if any. Location and identification of property lines, and the location of the product to be installed." Greg told me specifically to move the sprinklers. I used to be a landscaper so when I spoke with Greg and then Shannon, they let me know exactly where the posts were going to be. I dug up the areas to make sure there were no pipes going along those areas and had to move two sprinkler heads to prep the area for post digging. Shannon and another guy showed up, dug the post holes and set the posts in cement in about two hours. I had 7 posts. Quick and easy. They took all the extra dirt and dumped it where I asked them to. Here is where I start to get a little annoyed. The posts were all scuffed. They did not seem like they had been taken care of or they were the bottom of the pile or something. After the project was finished, I took a sponge and wiped down the posts and cleaned the scuffs out as much as possible. Not real happy about that. I even compared them to my neighbors' fences, which were at least 5 years older and they were pristine compared to mine. About a week later (the posts have to set) the rail/slat crew of four showed up unannounced. My wife asked them why they didn't call and they said they called me 45 mins prior to arrival. I never received a call; otherwise I would have been there to greet them. Did I really need to be there? No, but I don't trust anyone just roaming around my yard so that is just me. My wife and mother-in-law both claim they were very unprofessional and rude about it. My mother-in-law is just about the only person in this world who is going to make it to heaven so if she says they were unprofessional and rude, they were. Anyway, I got home and inspected the work. Unlike the posts, the slats and rails were in pristine condition. There were no major gaps and the gate was hung square in the area and not lopsided. They may have been jerks, but they knew how to put on rails and slats. Also, they had to cut out rail holes in an existing post to connect my fence. They did it right with no weird-shaped holes. They did leave some dirt on the grass for some reason though. The biggest perk though is none of my animals can leave the yard now so mission accomplished, but the scuffed up posts did make this a less than 100% experience.

I looked at their website, and it does state that it is rainproof. We paid $28,000 for a leaky pergola patio cover-if they would have mentioned this to begin with, we would not have chosen this company. $28,000 of which we still owe $8,000!!!
