I had a great experience with this fence company. I had two different companies give estimates…read more--these people were the most professional by far. Also, I kept changing my mind and Lance was able to patiently send a revised estimate. He also helped me figure out what would be best for the property, in terms of preserving our view, gate placements, etc. I went with a 6' aluma-guard (looks like wrought iron) with 3 inch posts. I also finished my neighbor's fence to complete the coverage of my yard. Now I can keep the deer out of my garden, and my dogs in the yard. The deer and the dogs may not like it--but I LOVE it! They were able to get me on the schedule quickly because I began the process before spring--and the project was completed on budget. Thank you Stonehenge Fence! HINT--This company has a $200 off coupon on KSL classifieds. I hope they continue that discount because it makes a difference for the sale.

If you're thinking about using Stonehenge for your fence, I really hope you see this and you go…read moresomewhere else. I chose them because the salesman was great and they came in about $1k under the other bids, and that $1k has easily been the most expensive thousand I've ever saved. The crew they sent clearly didn't know the product. Stuff was installed wrong, and they came out three separate times now trying to fix it. To be fair they did fix some of it, but it's still not even close to par with what I spent on the fence. There were many things they tried to get away with installing incorrectly and then came back to fix when asked but the one thing I really can't get over is the panel color differences. They installed panels that had color mis-matches, some are black some are gray, and it's not one bad section, it's all over the whole entire fence. Their answer was basically that it's a manufacturer thing, and the manufacturer won't do anything about it either. So I'm just stuck with it. Photos attached, judge for yourself. For what this cost it should not look like this. Please, if you are considering Stonehenge go with somebody else, it will potentially save you a lot of money, time and hassle in the long run.

Alpine Fence and Deck - Cocktail railing

Alpine Fence and Deck did an excellent job with composite fence installation. Beautiful work…read more Chandler was friendly, honest, and easy to work with--someone you feel comfortable trusting right away. Highly recommend.

I hired Alpine Fence & Deck last month to perform a full recondition of my two redwood decks here…read morebehind my home in Sandy. The former owner of Alpine Fence & Deck had just apparently sold the business to the new owner, Chandler, and they kept the price fixed from their August 2022 quote. This was for the usual inspection, pressure washing, sanding, rotten wood replacement, correction & reinforcement of loose wood and railing, a final sanding, and then full staining (using Sherwin-Williams "SuperDeck" semi-transparent deck stain) of the top surfaces AND all underside surfaces (which had never been stained before.) I wanted the underside done this time to properly seal off all the wood surfaces, and yes it cost me more money, but I'll never have to futz with it again. My wife and I picked a rich dark charcoal color instead of the usual redwood color. This dark color uses blue, magenta, and deep gold tints to get this darker hue which - after it was applied - we were very happy with. Alpine Fence & Deck provided all of the stain as part of the quote...and left us with a full unopened gallon for our use. Chandler and his assistant Eliza spent a number of days working the deck in the cooler temps of June and overall we are happy with the effort. Chandler asked me multiple times to check his work and bring to his attention anything he missed or I wanted to be changed. Chandler fixed multiple floorboards and the one wobbly railing, and it all turned out OK. I think the extra effort on the underside paid off but was additional labor that kinda' beat up Chandler and Eliza as no doubt it was exhausting work. Suffice it to say the underside should have been sprayed instead of rolled/brushed as there are visible gaps in the stain that I will ask Chandler to address once this post goes live here on Yelp and Google. I would recommend Alpine Fence and Deck and always suggest that the consumer get everything in writing (like I did with Chandler's electronic quotes) and confirm that Chandler and his team will revisit us next spring and perform some post-winter touch-ups at no cost to us. Four Stars for a good job overall. Thanks!
