What a great experience we had. Rodney was a great guide, he worked within our budget and helped us choose the right type of flooring. He was also patient with my wife as she flip-flopped over and over about which floor she had settled on. These guys are knowledgeable and easy to work with. I ordered floor for my room which I told them was 12' X 8' with the run being on the 12 side. The girl then told me what I needed to get the linear feet for my project and she ordered the floor. When the flooring finally came in a month after they said it was going to be in and I laid out the bundles I was shocked at the crap I received. The bundles had two long pieces on the outside and the inside was all 1 and 2 foot Lengths. This wasn't cheap flooring but what I got was short scrap pieces. What is worse is when I measure the linear feet with each sized bundle, all came up significantly short of completing a run. Which means now I have to order more bundles almost double the cost of my project. This is a scam as the could see it by the linear feet versus making you waste a ton of wood by providing it only in square feet. The fact they this product was wrapped to size and all the bundles were different sizes proves they just want to short you and make you buy more. I get the 10% waste on a project but I don't like a 40% waste. Never again!!!! read more

Absolutely the worse floor I've ever installed. I build the vinyl planking and the edges kept lifting up. After over a week installed with heat on some edges still lift. If you scuff a foot or kids run on the floor the boards ride over top of the other. Floor floats and never locks in place. This floor isn't worth it even if it was free. read more

Absolutely the worst business to deal with. This store in particular has zero customer service. My wife and I went in selected a sample, paid for an in home consultation which never happened because the employee who does the appointments and also the home consults told me an hour after his no show that he didn't write it down and that he was in church. The manager in charge called me today 5 days later to find out if I had the consult that I paid for and didn't seem to know anything even though I called the store to find out why the consult didn't take place. I told him this kind of service is totally bs. Then he flipped out on me. He ought to have apologized for the poor service and offer me a refund. Take your money somewhere else. These clowns don't deserve your hard earned money or time with their no shows. After reviewing others comments I'm not the only one with complaints. Companies like these will be out of business. I plan to contact corporate and let them know what happened as well as the other social media sites that I'm an influencer on. read more

We loved the floors we picked out online. That being said, it was not easy to get a straight answer as to when my floors would be shipped to the store. There were many bumps in the road and my original review was referring to a specific employee giving attitude. The assistant manager/manager promptly helped us to come to an arrangement to get our flooring that day. He was very accommodating and friendly. I'll never use Lumber Liquidators or their contractor BM Flooring ever again and I encourage you to think twice before you do. I ordered approximately 900 feet of luxury vinyl plank and all materials in the summer to lay on my new concrete floor in the basement. I am in the middle of a whole house renovation so many aspects of my project are dependent on this floor being laid. Once the floor was prepped, I called LL to inquire about installation. A nice person from BD Flooring came out to quote. I was quoted $3200+ dollars for the project (not including flooring) for labor and extra materials which included 4 bags of leveling cement, 1 7 foot piece of quarter round, leveling primer and base molding. I was told I had to pay for the project in full because this is a "professional company." I agreed even though for every other contractor in my whole house demo (literally knocked to studs) never expected a full payment up front. A few of the items they didn't have in stock so they had to order them and told me I couldn't set an installation date until all items from the order were in my possession. The primer was missed in the order and had to be ordered later and the quarter round was sent from another location to the wrong address. The next quarter round package was sent from NH and to this day (date of installation) was never delivered. I literally went to the store and bought it myself due to the level of ridiculousness that I was expected to wait for 1 small piece of material. If I hadn't gotten the materials and contacted the install team myself I would never even have the job that I paid in full for on the schedule. Now, I am sitting in my house on the first day of installation and the installers said they need 6 extra bags of leveling cement and won't start the job until it's paid for. I said ok thinking it was a few hundred for them to get the materials. When LL called me to confirm they want to charge me $591 dollars for cement and labor. I have no choice but to agree or else my job won't get completed and I can't get my money back. After multiples calls to LL store and corporate no one will give me a discount for a number of excuses (one manager left for a new job, another is in hospital, etc...). This is literally the worst and shadiest operation and even the installers think it's ridiculous how much I am being charged. Will never ever use LL Flooring again and will tell everyone I know not to. read more

The salesperson in this store was completely unhelpful in every aspect!,, He was short with any answer to any question I asked. ... They didn't have any of The Products in stock that they had on display in the showroom... They didn't even have a sample to take with me...Maybe the question I should have asked was when this Salesperson was not working so I could get proper and professional help... He was also hoping for the state to be shut down by the governor and repeatedly said it could take weeks or months to get any product there! I was so hopeful for a good experience with a new floor from Lumber Liquidators. Unfortunately the floor was laid incorrectly. First a board loosened and was fixed by the people that laid it. Next, my realtor found that the floor had completely loosened and had to be reinstalled!! (meanwhile my house is for sale and now I am thinking of liability if someone falls during a showing.) It was supposedly fixed,and then a board loosened again. Meanwhile when the realtor called the people who actually laid the floor AGAIN, and this person hung up on her!!!! Although I am happy with the floors I purchased, the third visit was not as pleasant as I expected. They did offer me free samples the first time I went, they would not give me a sample on my next visit! I couldn't even buy a sample! wTF. I literally need two pieces to finish my project and they want me to buy a full box. No thanks. I will go to Lowe's or Home Depot. After all was said and done - I was happy with the end product. I was expecting a turn around time of about a month and it ended up being 4 months due to each step taking weeks (special order the wood, order more wood, two different pick up dates, contractor being booked out for weeks etc). I think I wasted more time than the money saved was worth. read more

This place has amazing sales on lumber! I came here with a friend to look for vinyl and laminate. Rodney helped us figure out what would be the best for my friend's unit, factoring in things like water resistance, waste, and thresholds transitioning into other rooms. There were several associates who greeted us and were available, even on a Sunday! I would absolutely come here to do flooring DIY or have flooring installed. read more

Trying to match previously installed flooring so unfortunately I am stuck dealing with a store and manager and staff that could care less about sales or customer service. From "our computers are down" to an installation estimate that was never given, I have had to hound and beg for business. I should not have to constantly follow-up and call to remind them every step of the way. I'm surprised these clowns can stay in business. Save yourself the aggravation and shop around. My husband and I went to look at wood flooring for our new home. With this being said we went had found just what we were looking for and it was on sale! You would think this would be the beginning of a great review... well not so much. Two years later the floors are splitting and cracking causing splintered wood. I have used nothing but high quality wood cleaning products and the wood is no where near water. Make no sense why this is happening. We reached out to corporate and months go by of them asking us the same questions but no resolutions. At the moment we have moved furniture over these spots so my now walking 1 year old doesn't get hurt on any of these areas. I'm disgusted at how they are handling this when we have spent quite a bit of money here and have received nothing but problematic cheap quality wood flooring. I will never return and I will tell everyone to avoid based off of this experience. Stay clear they do nothing but take your money for low quality service and product. read more

The description of the product I needed was not accurate. After bring the product to the store in Warwick the customer service I received was terrible. Condescension and snarky. I came in to buy flooring and I asked employee names John for help. He was rude and said I guess I have no choice to help you. I asked him about the flooring I was looking to buy he gave me short answers I definitely felt like he didn't want to help me because of my skin color. Another employee was finished helping the people he was helping and came over and took over. His name was Jason he apologize to me and asked if he could better my assistance. He answered my questions and helped me get what I was looking for. I bought the flooring and he asked me to go around back where he would meet me. He introduce me to another employee named Tyler that would be helping with the loading of the flooring. Tyler did an amazing job and was very nice and respectful. I just wanted to say thanks you to Jason and Tyler. If it wasn't for the both of them I don't think I would of bought anything or even came back to that store. read more

We purchased one of the higher end flooring from Lumber Liquidators (LL) on 1/20/18 and were happy with the customer service we received in choosing our flooring. The installation was done by a third party installer on 2/8/2018 and were happy with the installers, albeit, LL did not inform them of the type of floor being installed and they were not sure if they had the proper equipment to install the very hard wood. The next day we noticed that there were some chipping in boards and some damage in others from being hit too hard. We were informed that there was a 1-year warranty. We called the store and informed them of the damage and asked if someone could come look at the installation. We were then contacted by the 3rd party installers and asked to send pictures. We did. They scheduled an installer to come out. We waited no one came. We contacted the store again. After not getting any results, we contact the Corporate Office who told us our problem was with the 3rd party installers. We refuted this, since we purchased the floor from LL!! And expect them to stand by their product. They want more pictures, which the store has. We keep calling and they keep promising that they will call us to send someone out. It is now 3/21 and they have yet to stand by their product. We love the floor, we just want it to be right after spending almost $6K!! When it comes time to purchasing flooring int he future, we will think twice about using Lumber Liquidators because of these service failures. It does not appear that they stand by their products or installation. read more
