I am rating them a one for service. We came into their place about 7 PM. The bar was full, but everyone had already had food or drinks. There was one big table with about 12 people. We sat there for 20 minutes without anybody acknowledging we were there. Perhaps they were understaffed, but at least offer us some drinks and say hey we'll get you as soon as we can. Then I went to the bar to get some drinks i waited there 10 minutes before someone showed up. Next the bartender never acknowledged me again and proceeded to cash out some tickets. After a total of 30 minutes, we decided to just leave. Our money wasn't good enough for them and we probably won't try to visit again. Plus, they're never open anyway. read more

We were recommended Lizzy Ts buy our Airbnb hosts. We had a drink at the bar and placed our order. We were seated in the dining room as soon as a table opened up. It was a Friday night October 2025 and was very busy! The wait staff and bartenders were flying! We had parmesan cod and it was delicious! We also ordered a side of cheese curds. They were actually wedges and probably some of the best we've ever had! We saw an old menu and prices on-line so we were quite surprised by the hike in price. Our parmesan cod was $18. However it would not deter us from going again. The food and service was very good. By the time we left at 7pm it was standing room only. Definitely doing something right. Had a hard time paying our bill at the bar because it was extremely busy. I think like all restaurants now it's hard to find help, you just need to pack your patience. I can't believe we haven't stopped here before. This place was amazing !!! We had a group of 7 arrive on a Saturday around 4pm for a early dinner/late lunch. The bartender was absolutely a gem and so sweet. Kam or Kal ? I know it was with a K. I lagged on writing this review so I forgot her name. I hope we get waited on again by her ! To start- the Bloody Mary- WOW. Absolutely huge and had awesome flavor. They make their own mix and the toppings were delicious. Loaded with deliciousness!!!! 10/10. Everything our party ordered was so amazing. To start - the bacon appetizer was out of this world, the cheese curds were probably the best I've ever had, and onion strings (again the best ever). From the steak, the walleye, sandwiches, pasta, prime rib, salmon, etc .... OUTSTANDING. Super flavorful and some top notch food. We absolutely cannot wait to go back !!! read more

Never even got to order our meal because of the music, it was so obnoxious we couldn't hear our waitress so we left and NEVER went back!!!

Awesome. First off, Lizzy T's knows how to pour a drink...double tall Jack & Coke's. Second, the cheese curds are special. Third, so was our server Tyrelle - she's the best. Fourth, Jack & Coke. We were on a college girl's trip and Lizzy T's was a convenient stop for our quick stay in the area. We loved the staff, the atmosphere and the food was great! The other patrons, were obviously locals, and very friendly. Highly recommend the pizza!! read more

Went there 2 times on a Friday for the fish fry. Pan fried/battered cod and Parmesan Encrusted walleye. Tyrelle is excellent. Bar tender (question name) can make a smooth wicked Captain Morgan Cinnamon Whisky Old Fashioned. Everything was great both times. Now gotta get back for sandwiches, steak and my fav Prime Rib. Some people complain about it being too noisey, juke box playing, and it is noted to be a sports bar. Maybe just not your cup of tea, but suited our first trip of 2 great, and our second trip with reservations for 7 just great. No elevator music. Enjoyment behold!! First visit on a Friday night for fish and it was outstanding! Lake Perch lightly breaded with beer battered shrimp as an add on. Great baked beans and baked potato. Excellent service and a fun friendly crowd. Cheese curds are extra special. Battered in house and were best I've ever had. Can't wait to try Prime Rib on a Saturday night or pizza sometime in the future. read more

The prime rib was cooked to perfection! The homemade horseradish sauce complimented the steak perfect! My friends had surf and turf, sea scallops and ribs, and really enjoyed them. The scallops and rib eye was a great hit as well, but I'm rooting for the prime rib!! read more

It was really amusing to read the negative review about Lizzy T's Tamarack. I find myself wondering what place they were in. (Must have been in LALA land) because if a place was that bad a lot of people must like bad places because every time I go by the parking lot is full and I know that it is not a bus stop. Many times customers are waiting on the spacious deck to get in. I have been there many times and have NEVER seen anything inappropriate or even seen the bartender even take a drink of anything except water. If things were as bad as this person wrote, how could THE TAMARACK serve as many as 110 meals in one night and many of them were return customers. Food Ok. Got take out and got home to find my salad missing. I had ribs and bbq sauce was good, but rest of meal mediocre. Service not friendly though. Lady refused to split our check (two couples) and told us to "just figure it out in the car" in an unhappy way. I was made to feel I was unwelcome. Place not too busy at the time ether. Stopped here last nite . I noticed the customer next to me had chicken that looked terrible. Customer next to him had pork chops that were so dry and terrible looking . Had bad vibes right away . Then I ordered a bottle of warm beer which I hate as I'm not a alcoholic. All locals in here . Ordered the cheapest burger on the menu only because you could tell right away this place sucks .The burger was pan fried and tasteless .Mr wife had the ribeye sandwich med rare that came out well done. The worst part is you have a crook owner Lizzy who trying screwing us on our bill . She charged me 10.99 for a 5.99 1/3 burger . then put a charge on the bill for1.50 for my potato salad . My wife was charged 2.00 for her potato pancakes . Which when she ordered was asked by Lizzy if she wanted fries, potato salad or chips or potato pancakes . When i said what the hell is this about the bill 31.99 . Her local customer next to me said yah you have to watch your bill .Then when i asked Lizzy she played dump about it all and said there was a up charge for the potato salad and the potato pancakes and that she screwed up on the burger price . This Lizzy intentionally tried to screw us thinking we were tourists and wouldn't say anything . Avoid this place . the food is terrible , the owner is a crook and she has two 10 year old kids cooking food in the back and no waitresses .Her good reviews are all people she knows . If I could give this place negative stars I would. We went in tonight for dinner at about 7:30. There were a couple of other tables and us, a table of 5. There were a few people at the bar that appeared to have been there for awhile. The bartender was also the "waitress". Unfortunately I don't think she was all that into doing either job. She was more concerned with partying it up with the people at the bar. We watched while she drank shots with them, numerous shots, and we waited and waited. We asked 3 times for water that we never got, twice for drinks that never came, and more than once for the check. Some of this stuff I could have overlooked, however, when you are running a restaurant with kids in as guests (thankfully we did not bring any kids) and the bartender and bar patrons are so loud and using strong language someone should step in and make it stop. The female bartender actually climbed up on the bar and drank a shot from a woman's cleavage that was sitting at the bar. If you want to have a restaurant, have one and run it as such. If you want to have a bar, great. You certainly are doing a poor job of doing both. And you really need to get a bartender that stays sober and can do her job regardless of which path you choose. This place is absolutely fantastic, seeing some of the negative reviews make me sick because a lot of it isn't true, and are just leaving a bad review because they didn't serve them free food. First of all their alcohol is so good there are lines just to sit down at the bar, their special cocktail looks great even to me (I don't drink). The owner, Lizzy T herself, was the bartender and the waitress and does phenomenal at both, somehow able to handle a full bar and restaurant with only one other person to help. and for anyone drinking a shot off a girl's cleavage, or two ten year olds supposedly working in the back. Lizzy kicked a guy out because she started harassing a fellow patron, no way in hell she would let anyone drink out a girl's cleavage, and I worked in the back as a dishwasher, I was 16 when I worked there, and I gotta say she was so nice to me, she asked me if I was doing okay, and always made sure I was alright before she assigned me another job, it was tough, but fair and she always made sure I was never overworked, that woman wouldn't employ 10 year olds because she knows how to run her bar. For the food? Oh my god the food would make your mouth water if you see it, even the bar food makes you hungry, I ordered from their constantly, and their pizza's were handcrafted and done so well I always had to order one while I was there. Lizzy does not get drunk behind the bar, no matter how many times she jokes that she wants to, she stays professional, if I still lived in Rhinelander I would go there again. 10/10, I recommend 100% if you want great food at a decent price read more
