Our burgers were waiting on the warming station forever before someone put them on a tray and grabbed our fries. The line started outside the restaurant and looped around inside before reaching the cashiers. Since the staff were swamped with orders, they didn't have time to tend to the garbage bins that were overflowing by that point in the afternoon. I was pretty impressed with how fast the line actually moved. It was a bit difficult for the cashier to hear my order with the plexiglass barrier separating us, but he got it after a couple of tries. I estimate that I didn't have to wait more than one minute before I got to customize the toppings on my burger. There were plenty of empty tables to sit at and enjoy our meal. Everything tasted fantastic. We weren't sure if it was the hunger talking, but the burger was great, the poutine had a good amount of cheese curds, the fries were crispy and hot even at the bottom of the container, and the Brisk Lemon Iced Tea had the perfect sweetness and was good even without ice. The machine must've been out of ice/unable to make more since I wasn't able to get any. I liked that the fork we were given for the poutine wasn't plastic. It seems that they haven't moved from plastic straws though.

I happened to stop…read moreat this particular store because of an emergency pit stop from the highway and frankly, I wish I hadn't. The store is very small and is tucked away inside a plaza. There's no Golden Arch signage and the restaurant doesn't have its own location. It just blends in with all of the other stores in the plaza so is hard to see and tell apart. The whole restaurant does feels unclean and the washroom is disgusting. Use it under your accord. Service it's very slow, even by a fast food chain standard and it is true about employees interested in socializing than taking orders. The whole restaurant is very crammed and tight. There's not a lot of space to order, wait or even sit. No, I didn't dine in and took my order to go. Thankfully, there wasn't any nasty surprise in my meal like other reviewers. Big improvement needed at this location starting with the cleaning. That would be a huge step. Not recommended.

There's a duplicate listing that has almost 20 reviews but I'm going to post mine one this listing because it has the proper postal code and phone number. I only really go to this McDonald's when I go to visit my brother who lives not far from this mall. I can remember the last time I was here that I was fairly livid because of the disorganization at this particular restaurant. To start off they have 3 cash tills and they were both signed off. Both of them. Really how are customers supposed to order? The counter is tiny and it's crowded because of everybody waiting in this tiny congested area. I had ordered and this particular store while I've seen this practice at other McD's locations is not right but at the same time they completely fail at it. What I'm talking about is ordered are timed. By the time an order is placed if you look at the board your order should appear there. On their screens there are the ordered displayed and time runs as long as the orders are not fulfilled. I find this locations and others "fudge" this process. They close off the order before it's actually complete so their "TIMES" appear better. They end up closing the order and give you your food. Where THIS particular location completely fails is that they do this AND they forget orders. The last time I was there I was upset because they closed off my order and forgot what I had. I had to show them my receipt because behind the counter it was complete chaos and confusion. Coffees were put on the order counter (marked 0 through 9) so they can match up with who ordered what but when you clear the orders from the screen to make it look like your restaurant is not as incompetently as slow as they are in reality, things implode when they actually don't fulfill those orders and leave customers hanging in the crowded queue in what I like to call the lobby of dissatisfaction to eventually be fed up and go back to them demanding what the hey they are doing...??? IMO this practice of closing off orders to get the RED orders off their order queue screens has to stop. If your numbers are bad because you're too slow your numbers need to reflect how bad you're actually doing as opposed to gaming the system to look like you're doing a better job than you actually are doing. This latest visit wasn't as bad but still this place made me not forget how they did things last time and I see egregious fudging of their order times again I'll consider reporting it to corporate or whatever level is above the store because forgetting what was ordered in order to cover up ineptitude and mismanagement is not acceptable regardless of where ever you go.
