Jo was an absolute pleasure to work with. She took the time to ask questions about what I was looking for, gave me plenty of great options, and showed me several different pieces that matched my style and needs. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire shopping experience enjoyable. I have to say, the customer service was amazing--truly phenomenal. Jo was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right furniture. The store itself is very clean, organized, and has such a welcoming, hospitable atmosphere. Wow, what a horrible customer service experience. From the time we walked in until we walked out, I have never felt more unwelcome. This is a huge showroom and I thought I'd have some luck finding a console table. As we walked in, there were multiple people standing at the front desk with zero acknowledgment. That's fine as we didn't need help yet, so we started looking around. Towards the back of the first floor, there a cafe that serves beer, wine, and coffee. We approached and asked the person behind the bar about what they served. She just stared and ignored us. I asked again and instead of giving us an answer, she just turned away from us and pointed at a coffee pot across the way. No words at all, just super awkward and quite rude. We walked away. We then went upstairs to continue looking for a table. The stars given are for the 1 person that acknowledge us and asked if we needed any help. We told her about our experience and she didn't seem surprised at all. We decided to leave as we did not feel comfortable nor welcome, especially at the cafe. There were more people at the front when we walked out that didn't even look at us or give any salutation for coming in. Reading the other reviews, it seemed like this is the norm. Zero, would be my rating! Avoid Living Spaces at all costs. I spent over $10,000 on a bedroom set and have now been sleeping on the floor for 10 days because this company cannot complete a basic delivery. My first delivery was canceled less than 12 hours before arrival, after I took time off work. They rescheduled for today between 12:30-3:45 PM. I took time off work again. By 8 PM, still nothing -- no call, no update. When I called, Brian claimed my order "didn't pass inspection." We confronted him because the order was already marked out for delivery, and suddenly the story changed to "It'll be there at 8:56 PM." That time came and went. We called again. Steve answered and said the truck "broke down," while people laughed in the background like my situation was a joke. As a 100% disabled Veteran, being treated this way after spending this kind of money is beyond disrespectful. When I asked when it might be delivered, Steve literally said, "Who knows." Living Spaces has shown me the worst customer service I've ever experienced -- unprofessional, unreliable, and dismissive. If you value your time, money, or basic respect, go somewhere else. I took off 2 days of work for this and ultimately at the end, my wife got off the phone crying because of the disrespect and lies they were telling her! A furniture store where the staff isn't on commission! I felt like Benjamin really wanted us to get what we wanted - not whatever he could upsell. That alone made me love the store. They have a very large selection in every department and their prices are in line with competitors. They have free delivery and set up if you spend over $995 and they are currently offering a 10% gift card when your purchase is delivered. Wow and wow. As you walk in, greeted by very nice person and suggest stopping by the bar for your favorite drink while shopping. I love the idea and who to refuse. Went straight, shortest distance possible since this store is so huge. I ordered my reds for $2 and also coke (free). Noticed lot of drink items are either complimentary or only $2. Also food items equally priced. Wine is served in real glass! We started with the ride up to the second floor with the centrally located escalator. Restroom! Very clean and huge too. Checked out the very nice reclining leather couch. Forgot to take pics but appears to be up high quality leather. So many options everywhere! They also have outdoor area at both 1st and second floor. I m here for the furniture shopping but views were amazing! I got my eyes on you! Its not IKEA, its not American Furniture, its not Scandinavian Design. Decided to come here after we saw it was finally open. It is such a nice building with a great selection. The highlight was the café pricing. Everything is about $2 and (yes that includes wine and beer!) We fell in love with so many couches. The coolest thing was seeing that you could build/design your own sectional. The staff were pretty friendly, but no one came up to us until 5 mins before we were planning to leave. Overall, this place is pretty fun to walk around and try out. Went to check out dining table chairs. The store is lovely and new still. I must have missed the map as we were looking for the dining room section. Went upstairs to the restroom and then down again. The chairs were at the back of the store. They have a bar which serves food and drinks. If you purchase something there they credit you the amount towards your purchase. Nice hook. The selection is good. More modern looking options than the other large furniture store we usually go to. He checked out some chairs and then decided that we'd just buy a dining table set as it's more affordable that way. Chairs are expensive. An associate did greet us and as we weren't ready we didn't engage. When we found the set there was another associate finishing up with a customer so they helped us. Personable and friendly. We ordered the set, it was coming from California. There is a delivery window for the day of delivery. It took about 5 days to arrive. I received many emails reminding me about the delivery to confirm the date with an option to make changes. We chose the delivery to outside of house. They also offer delivery inside of house and delivery inside with assembly. The outside option is free. Prices are comparable to other furniture stores. We would shop here again. read more

Rude and unprofessional staff. The person working at the bar was very difficult to deal with--rude and slow. We had a very simple order, yet they still managed to mess it up multiple times, while talking back to us and giving us attitude. I asked several times to speak with the manager but was refused. They told us the manager was at the front door and couldn't come up, and that we would need to go talk to them ourselves. For full disclosure, the place was completely empty on a Wednesday afternoon, and the manager was just standing there doing nothing but still refused to come speak with us. My first time into a LS and wow, talk about impressive! This new location is large, 2 floors and has so many choices for furniture. I had no idea there were so many couches to choose from! While my husband and I aren't in the market for anything new at the moment, we enjoyed trying out the remote control chairs and couches. There is a bar area for drinks and snacks. If you're serious about buying something and need to spend a long time, try not to bring your kids, they will be so bored. read more

I've had great experiences with Living Spaces in the past, including furnishing my entire first apartment through the Glendale, AZ location and purchasing recliners for my parents from the Irvine/Tustin, CA store. Because of those positive experiences, I expected the same level of service at the Lone Tree location. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When we first came in, I asked the greeter at the front about the model of sofa that I was interested in, and she was completely unhelpful. She stated they didn't have what I was looking for and her only suggestion was to drive 35+ miles to the Thornton location, with no confirmation that the item would even be there. The least she could've done was offer to see if the item was even in stock but that offer was never made. A nearby sales associate vaguely pointed me in the direction of chairs that matched the couch I had looked at online but provided no real assistance or follow-up to see other couches that would've been in my price point. I spent about 20 minutes in the store without a single sales associate offering to help us beyond the unhelpful experiences we had already had. Ironically, the only helpful interaction I had was with an associate in mattresses even though that wasn't what I came in for. For a store selling high-ticket furniture, the lack of basic customer service was disappointing and frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Lone Tree location. read more

Damaged pieces delivered twice, horrible communication and they no showrd. I ordered a large buffet and a nice entertainment center to be delivered. When both pieces came, they were damaged. On the black piece, they used a Sharpie to cover damage. The buffet had non working doors that rubbed against each other, causing more damage. I had to reschedule for a replacement for both. This would be my second day off work to have these pieces delivered. During the second delivery, we found that both pieces were damaged again, they entertainment center was even missing a leg. I had to schedule yet again for a delivery. This was scheduled for a Saturday between 10:30 and 1:30. The schedule was updated between 10:00 and 1:00, which I was grateful for. By 1:00 I had not heard anything. I called and was told that I was delivery number three of number five. They would be here by 1:30. I did not believe that but the woman assured me that would take place. By 2:30 still no word and no delivery. I called back and was told that they had a big delivery in the morning and that they were running late but would still come. I asked how long I would have to stick around and they could not give me an answer. At that point I canceled the new items and said I just want the pieces picked up. They never showed up. When I called back I got a supervisor, Michelle, who told me that the pieces were canceled so they weren't coming. They were supposed to come and pick up the damage pieces but never did. I had to reschedule again, having to take yet another day off work to have them pick up the damage pieces. It's a shame because I love the pieces, the delivery guys have been great and I really liked my sales person. They're clearly is no Quality Control process in place. These are expensive and should be perfect. The whole debacle is inexcusable and I will not be using Living Spaces and I will share these problems with my family, friends, colleagues, and clients. I have not received a call from a manager as I had requested. I'm patient, but not that patient! The lack of communication was terrible at best, having the client have to reach out each time to get an update clearly is not ideal. They should be proactive. Think Twice before buying furniture from "LIVING SPACES" !!!!! We bought furniture from Living Spaces and found that it was on back order for 6 weeks ....Then when it was delivered found that the posted sizes are smaller than actual size which made the furniture not fit and tried to make it fit by returning 2 pieces at 10% restocking fee and pick up fee.....then found that we needed to return a 3rd piece three days before they were to pick up tge first return and they said they could not combine the pick ups which is ridiculous for them to come out twice because of thier buerocracy ... So decided I do not want to do business a company that doesn't have things in stock, thier posted sizes are not accurate and returns are such a hassle .....back to America Furniture :)) read more

It continues to get worse. Originally the salesperson on the floor said part of my daughter's loft bed was on back order and would be delayed due to updated parts. A few days later I ordered a bed frame that was also on back order, but then my entire first order was delayed, again. Eventually my daughter's loft bed was delivered but we did not realize that they delivered it with an extra bookshelf and ladder. Clearly this was a mix up by the sales person on the floor and the lady whom I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and explained that it was their fault and agreed when they delivered our bed frame they would take the extra bookshelf and ladder. When that happened the delivery men did not want to take them back. Eventually they made a call and reluctantly took them. Soon after I received an email that someone would be at our house the following weekend to pick up returns (the ladder and bookshelf) and if we weren't home we would be charged a fee. I called again and the person this time had a totally different story, implying it was our fault for buying the extra ladder and bookshelf (I hadn't realized I had actually paid for them). Now I have no idea if I'm going to get refunded and/or charged a restocking fee. What a mess. read more

Some initial problems with corporate's response - but the LONE TREE, CO store is working toward a solution. We purchased a bedroom set consisting of a bed, dresser, and mattress. The wrong bed was delivered and when I told the driver about the error, he told me to contact Living Spaces. The local store in Lone Tree, CO doesn't have a publicly available phone number, so we contacted corporate "customer service" that same day. We were told the bed we actually ordered was out of stock and our only recourse was to either keep furniture we did not want or pay a 10% restocking fee to return the bed and dresser and that they would not accept a return on the mattress we did not need. Critically, we would not have ordered the mattress if we were not also ordering the bed. We asked to escalate the issue and were directed to contact the local store. We were told the local store didn't have a phone number and that a store representative would call us, or we could visit the store. I drove 45 minutes to the store in an effort to resolve the problem. At the store, I was told a General Manager would contact me. The manager contacted me and gave me his assurances that the bed we wanted would be delivered in a couple months and in the interim, we could use the bed that was mistakenly provided. The store's assurances made me willing to accept the order and, provided the right bed is delivered in the next couple months, I'll be satisfied. So, for now, it's wait and see. Overall, there's a lot lacking in terms of the corporate office's customer service department's response - they really were not willing to address the issue and tried to punt. But the local store in Lone Tree, Colorado worked toward finding a viable solution. So long as it works out, kudos to the local store. Upon final resolution, I'll make an effort to update this review and make any adjustment necessary to the star rating. read more

My furniture was delivered and there were missing pieces to a child's bed. Instead of removing the bed they left the half assembled bed assuring me that they would return soon with the missing pieces. I received a phone call to inform me that the soonest they would be able to complete assembly of the bed was six days later. How is it possible that you leave a half assembled bed in a child's room? They left the pieces leaning up against a window and a wall. Also, they left the mattress leaning up against a railing in my hallway. The man who rescheduled my appointment told me that there was no one else to speak with to take my complaint - obviously he's lying - like a company with 40 stores doesn't have someone above him I could speak with. When I called to fix it, they said they were out stock for the bed I wanted. Horrible customer relations. Ordered sectional and rug Sunday evening, and then called first thing Monday morning to cancel the rug. I was told to just refuse shipment and it would automatically be returned to the store at no additional cost. I was not notified of the shipment delivery. It was just delivered and they are refusing to cover the shipment back. Spoke to management to no avail. They said it's not their problem. I enjoyed the shopping experience at living Spaces. However the delivery process has been extremely difficult and disappointing. My furniture was scheduled for delivery last week. They missed their delivery window in the evening by over 1.5 hours. I had to reschedule due to THEIR lateness. I was rescheduled for today. I called to receive my window of delivery. I was informed that I was not rescheduled. I now have to wait more than 10 days from my original date. Since they cannot delivery till SATURDAY of next week they were going to charge me $40 for rescheduling and weekend delivery. I am livid and refused to pay the extra. No supervisor would come to the phone. I was told that after much discussion they wouldn't charge me. I believe that they should make this right by waiving all delivery fees and bringing my chairs today. I'm not sure after this experience if I will shop there again. read more
