It's one of those stores where you walk intending to browse but inevitably find something you love that you just have to take home with you. creme de la creme is a little hard to describe; I guess I'd call it a home goods and decor store. They sell candles, rugs, art, and various items of decor. The merchandise is of really high quality. On this past visit (I'd been in one before, too), I found a rug that just called to me. I had to have it. The store is beautiful (and festive around the holidays), and the service is so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the many stores worth visiting in historic Frederick!

Also, they cater for punch needle & appliqué. There are some lovely handmade wooden bread boards, dyed in primitive colors. The shop owners father has made them & if I remember correctly, he's in his 80's. They are so lovingly made! The shop owners name escapes me (my apologies) but she was lovely. She totally engaged with me & was so helpful when I asked questions. I genuinely look forward to getting back there in the future, I just wish this shop was my local.
