I needed to know that I wasn't just shopping, but that someone would be able to show me things that I had on a list. When I walked in I spotted what I had on my list and of course since I don't work here I had about a million questions. I know there are lotions, but I honestly did not know the difference between the lotions. So I found the first employee that I could and she was super helpful, tell me the difference between items and which one a girl would want more. With her advice, I just got both of them. She also told me the same deal that the other store was having, but she mentioned that that was not the only deal. So, yeah, this Hagerstown location was much more helpful than the other. Ended up spending more time in here than I expected. And with the deals they had, I did save. Like others have said, this place is well organized, stocked and clean.

I figured since this was located at an outlet the prices would be better, I was wrong. I think that should be a requirement to have a store located in an outlet, you must have better pricing or stay in the mall where you can justify those prices. I walked in, was greeted promptly and asked if I needed help finding anything. I did not since the items I was to get were located right behind the staff asking me this question. When I pointed behind them they told me that there was a special, to which I replied that wasn't really a bargain. I was reassured that I could mix and match anything in the store, Ma'am, that still does not make it a bargain with the prices your charge for lotion and candles. After I made that statement I was kind of treated like I did not exist and was not offered any other help. Made for an unpleasant experience and making me leave promptly afterwards. Save yourself the trouble and head up to the proper store in the mall where you don't feel as if you are imposing on someone's time.

This is now my favorite Yankee Candle (YC) outlet store of the five that I have visited within a…read more100-mile radius of my house. Yesterday, 9/28/2025, was my first time here, and it was great. The store is spacious (about twice the square footage of the smallest YC outlet I have visited), clean, well-organized, and stocked with a lot of scents, many of which I had not seen in other YC outlets. The customer service is OUTSTANDING. The three ladies there were all incredibly welcoming, friendly, polite, and helpful in the right way -- a delicate balance between asking whether they can be of assistance and following up, on the one hand, and letting you browse and sniff to your heart's content (which includes making you feel comfortable taking your time). One store clerk was especially helpful, greeting me warmly when I entered, asking my scent preferences, answering my questions about the fragrance notes of specific scents, making suggestions based on my preferences, and even getting and holding out a shopping basket in which to put my selections. I bought nine candles! There are lots of good deals here. It's a great place to shop for any lover of YC candles, and I will be back soon!
