HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND Maybe this is a reason why they are closing!! Wish it could be 0 stars…read more Awful customer service and awful warranty company!!! Don't purchase the warranty. My kid spilled and entire bottle of nail polish remover on a table, the entire bottle. The nail polish remover is covered under the plan, but because she wiped it up with a dry paper towel (to stop more damage) it voided the warranty. They consider wiping with a paper towel IMPROPER cleaning. Instead the company would rather have the nail polish remover continue spread, drip down the side of the table and onto the chairs and floor, causing more damage. Went back to the store (which did not have any customers in it) to ask for help and the two employees did not even look up from their computer to acknowledge me. Completely IGNORED me. After I explained the situation, they never answered until I said "Say something" The only thing the one guy (who sold me the furniture) said (without even looking up) was that I should never have wiped the nail polish remover up with a paper towel. I guess I should have let the nail polish remover drip onto my wood floor and chairs! At least have the decency to look at someone and acknowledge they are talking to you. What the store doesn't tell you when you purchase the warranty, is do not do anything. Let the damage sit there until you can call the company and reach someone on the phone. Even if that means letting nail polish remover drip onto your wood floor from a table. Never new a paper towel would destroy the warranty!

Thursday 5/2/2024…read more It's been a while but I have finally visited a new Maryland Dutch market. I spent around 2 hours shopping inside the market as I made sure to visit nearly all the vendors and get all the items I was interested in trying for the first time. First stop was the candy vendor where I got a quarter pound of cookies n cream fudge $3.98. Then the Bakery vendor where I got a carrot cake (whole) $21, cream cheese cinnamon buns $7.59, white icing cinnamon buns $7.59, pumpkin roll (whole) $10, and a carrot cake roll (whole) $9. Then I went to the donut vendor where I got a dozen assorted donuts $15 but I only had a glazed, chocolate Oreo, fruity pebble, Dutch crumb filled, and s'more. Then the fresh produce & juices vendor where I got an orange juice half gallon $14, strawberry lemonade $10, and blackberry lemonade $10. Then the pizza vendor where I got a slice of their bbq chicken pizza $4.55. Then Ben's bbq where I spent $43.68 and got less than half a pound (.40) of their bbq ribs, a quarter pound beef brisket, stuffed chicken breast meal with 2 sides (smoked Mac n cheese & mashed potatoes), and 14x assorted wings (bbq, smoked, Cajun, honey bbq, old bay, seasoned, and bourbon). Then the log & pretzel vendor where I got a Cajun crab log $7, beef brisket log $8, cinnamon sugar pretzel $4, and a side of white icing 0.75$. Then Verna's sub shop where I got an 8 inch steak n cheese sub $12.49 and large boardwalk fries $7. Then the farmer's cookhouse where I spent $23.82 and got a 3pc dark meal with 2 sides of wedges, 1 fried chicken breast, and a pulled pork sandwich. Finally, I stopped at the pig roast vendor (special pig roast event) where I got a pig roast sandwich $9. Tier list for everything I tried: - Good * BlackBerry lemonade * Strawberry lemonade * Carrot cake whole * Cream cheese cinnamon buns * White icing cinnamon buns * Donuts (glazed first, then chocolate Oreo, Dutch crumb filled, fruity pebbles, s'mores) * Pig roast sandwich * Cookies n cream fudge * Assorted chicken wings * Bbq rib * Carrot cake roll - Neutral (mixed opinion/in the middle) * Pumpkin roll * Bbq chicken pizza * Orange juice * Cinnamon sugar pretzel & white icing * Cajun crab log * Beef brisket log * 8 inch steak n cheese sub * Boardwalk fries * 3 pc dark meal with potato wedges * Fried Chicken breast - Bad * Pulled pork sandwich * Beef brisket * Stuffed chicken breast meal (sides of Mac n cheese & mashed potatoes) Overall, here's another Maryland Dutch market that I'm glad I experienced. I would recommend this spot and would be open to returning. My automatic favorites would be the glazed donut, carrot cake, strawberry lemonade, blackberry lemonade, and the assorted wings. My Updated Maryland Dutch market rankings: 1. Annapolis Dutch market 2. Laurel Dutch market 3. Germantown Dutch market 4. Hagerstown Dutch market 5. Upper Marlboro Dutch market

On today, 1 July, 2026, I visited Royal Pawn Brokers, in Hagerstown, MD. I'm retired Navy and a…read moreVietnam veteran! My original purpose was to buy a EGO 57 battery; the battery was gone, so I browsed the items on the shelves and in the cabinets looking for a bargain. An automatic pistol caught my eye and I inquired about it... The woman behind the counter briefed me as the make and model of the pistol. She than asked if I had a HQL, to which I replied... Yes! I have a copy on my cellphone. In reply, the woman said: Oh we don't accept that, you're have to give us the original because I have to fully identify you. My reply: OK, you can print it from my phone! She refused to print a copy of my HQL, insisting that she has to verify my HQL before she can sell me the pistol! In Maryland, you have to attend classes and be certified in firearm safety prior to purchasing a firearm. Upon completion, you are issued a form that verifies that you have met all qualification to buy a firearm. In addition, there is a thirty day wait before you can actually pay for the firearm! The wait is to give you a chance to cool down, if you are buying the firearm to use in the commission of a felony! Did I say I was retired Navy? Did I say that I was a Vietnam veteran? Oh, again, I'm retired... eighty-two years old as well! All my income comes from a federal source, meaning the mere purchase of a firearm in the State of Maryland under false pretense is a felony! My pensions and SSA vanish the moment I falsify a document, especially without the properly credentials! The lady said: She had to call in my HQL to even think about selling me the pistol! This is what she didn't do: ¹ Asked to see my ID. With my ID, she should could have verified my HQL was legit, made that call using the HQL stored on my phone. She refused ask or to look at my IDs. ² I originally qualified to possess a firearm in 2013. I had my expired copy of my HQL, and the new one dated 2023! A preliminary check would have given her all of the information she needed to make that call... She didn't! As an after thought, she said she thought the pistol was 1250! That was her third attempt to persuade me that the price alone would make me back off the thought of purchasing the firearm! By my avatar, you can understand how I took her denial! I can't say that it was an act of prejudice, but the reasons you used to not verify me insinuate as much! You are duty bound to certify that I am a valid candidate to buy a firearm that you have prominently displayed as an item for sale! She said that herself! Businesses that interface with me are supposed to give me the same opportunity to buy products displayed to whomever makes an offer to buy... It didn't happen!

They forgot to send one of the pieces i ordered so i had to pick that piece up on my own and was promised a $100 credit for my troubles which i never received. The biggest complaint is that my table was delivered damaged and she told me to keep it for use while she ordered me a replacement, a month later, i asked where my table was, she thanked me for REMINDING her?! Then the day she was to bring it, it is defective as well and she has to order me a new one and they have a no refund policy but I'm welcome to exchange it! And then she shouldn't return my texts or calls becsuse her phone 'was out of service' You can't charge people for good you haven't delivered on so i have called the credit card company and disputed this portion of the charge and made the defective table available for pick up at her convenience. I will never shop here again and have made my friends aware as well. Word of mouth travels and you could have made this okay by simply doing the right thing by your customer!

I have ordered my furniture over 9 weeks ago even though I was given a load date of three weeks ago to still be waiting for my items almost three months later. There is still no sign of delivery and my calls are unanswered . I have been making payments on furniture that still not have even arrived.... Then the owner and her husband (the delivery guy) insist of taking pictures of my house when it's all done so they can use them as advertising for their interior design services even though my husband picked out all the furniture and never used the interior design services they claim to have. Maybe they should refocus those services on actually delivering the items on time and without false advertisements. YOU WILL WAIT A LONG TIME TO GET YOUR FURNITURE! I have ordered several comparable pieces from wayfair and joss and main and they arrived days later with no shenanigans and just as good of price. Run! don't walk away from La Rouge.......

A record store that doesn't check to make sure the vinyls match the cover? Annoying. Was told this record store had the best selection people had seen. Could not find any artists I wanted nor could the person I was with (unless you like Charli Xcx or Taylor Swift). Honestly that's fine. My taste can be niche but it gets to a point when I find a vinyl I actually like and I get home and find something else inside of it. While I am at it I also want to say the music they play in there is crazy. Roxy Saint? The fetal alcohol syndrome lady? Love her to death but god who is making the playlist for this place? I genuinely can't believe I was so excited to get this vinyl that I've been looking for for so long and I opened it up and it was something else. May be an accident but still. You are a business. Pay more attention.
