The RIGHT thing to do would have been to call us to confirm that we were on our way and definitely wanted to purchase the item. Instead, they sold it out from under us THEN called to tell us not to bother coming. A very poor business model. we will never shop there again.

Recently there, I snagged a framed 10" x 12" Christmas card signed by President Johnson and his wife Lady Bird at a very very good price. I consider this card precious because President Johnson was, you know, the guy that enacted the Civil Rights Act, Voting Rights Act, Medicare and Medicaid. A president that actually wanted to (and did!) improve the lives of all Americans. When you see manicured landscaping in interstate cloverleaves, that was Lady Bird Johnson's idea.

Many of the items here are fantastically historic, and for that they are worth a pretty penny is some cases. But from what I see it is ALL reasonable priced considering the work that goes into getting these pieces to you, & restoring them to a functional condition. & mind you, this is a family owned business! I'll pay some extra cash to support an establishment such as this before any big run of the mill store. We need more places like this! I found an authentic Dutch bassinet, likely 100 yrs old, in fantastic condition for only $60! I plan to use it for my newborn! This store & warehouse is RAW! and a great experience, seriously like a museum except everything is for sale! how cool! Owners/staff are very very nice.
