I hadn't used this account in over a year, so I tried to delete it. Here's what it took: * Login to your account and goto https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/privacyrequest * Click on "Please submit this form" * Click on "Start Deletion Request" * Fill in your first and last name, and email address. Skip the optional comment field. * Click on "Review Request" * Check the box that says you are a human * Click on "Submit Request" * Your request has been submitted. Wait for an email with a link in it to verify your email address. Click on the link. * This takes you to a web page where you can "Finalize Your request". On this page you will be asked to receive a text or call at the phone # they have on file for you. Select the appropriate method, and click on "Send". * Wait to receive their "privacy request verification code", and enter it into the appropriate field * Click "Verify" * The expected response is "Success!". Now choose one of two questions "What is the subtotal of your recent order?" OR "What is the order date of your most recent order?" You might have to dig a bit to find either answer. You can find this from their website under "https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/myaccount/orders", although as in my case, you might wonder if you can count a cancelled order as the last one? I guessed yes. Fill in the correct answer. * Check the box saying that you aren't lying to them. * Click on "Submit" * The next page says that "Your personal data access request has been submitted successfully. You should hear back within 45 days." * On 21 Dec 2024, they emailed me to say "We are unable to delete your information at this time. We are required to keep all order related information for one year for tax, fraud, and business processing purposes. Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate any system-wide deletion requests if there is an order on your account within this timeframe." My most recent transaction that was not a renewal was 4 Jan 2023. Perhaps they are counting renewals as a transaction in which case, because they occur annually, according to their "wait one year" requirement, I will never be able to delete my account.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can not express how much I appreciate you and your crew!!…read moreAnyone looking for someone reliable, honest, hard working and has beautiful quality then these are your guys. They have completed several jobs for me from adding new rooms to finishing basements, to putting in tile floors and building fences. It's always been completed on time and for the quoted price. You should expect this from any company but you actually get it from these guys, which is rare this day in age. As with anything problems do come up and this is truly the test of a great contractor. I saved and saved to get wood floors put in my home, took months to get through the refinancing of my hous to afford it. During those months a searched for the perfect flooring and I found it, or so I thought. It was a beautiful cherry solid hard wood flooring by Home Legends and purchased through Home Depot. I moved out all of my furniture, scheduled a week off work and kenneled my dogs. It sucked, to put it frankly, packing up and almost moving out of my house but watching the boxes and boxes of flooring setting in my home waiting for the installation day made it all worth it. The day came, the crew worked hard and had the floor put in during the week they promised and it was gorgeous..... for about 20 minutes. Then the clear coat started to bubble, more and more every day until my floor ( in my entire house ) was a wreck. Rich from Facelift quickly made a claim on my behalf with Home Depot and the manufacturer. Home Legands sent and inspector out to look at my floor and found that it was a defect from the manufacturer and Home Legands promptly reimbursed me for the cost of the flooring.. ONLY the cost of the hard wood flooring. This left both me and Rich in a bind but being the fault was neither of ours and the money was not enough to rip out and reinstall new flooring we decided that sanding and refinishing it would have to work. So another week off work, and kenneling the dogs and the exhausting part of moving out of my home again. Then the sanding began but the only thing it resulted in was some torn up sanders and a floor that could not be refinished due to the wood being the root of the problem and not the clear coat. Getting that phone call makes your stomach drop. 20k down the drain and a floor I can no longer live with. I held my breath and guessed it was time to lawyer up. Who to sue? Home Legands for making and selling faulty products (which I later researched were made in China) or Home Depot for continuing to use them as a supplier knowing all the horror stories people had about them!!! Plus how long would I have to live with no floor!! But those were just rushing thoughts because before I could complete them Rich said he would take on the cost and handle going to court if he has to on my behalf. I could have cried. I write this review from the comfort of my bed that is setting on my new and gorgeous flooring. He and his crew worked 12 hour days to get it done and helped me move my furniture back in place. This is ABOVE and BEYOND anything I would have even asked for someone to do for me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking on this burden and making it right for me. I hope Home Depot makes this right and takes the burden from him and they handle the legal battle with Home Legands. Untimantly it is a problem between the manufacturer and Home Depot because they can quickly get a bad rep for selling defective products and then not honoring there promise to customers for satisfaction. In this case Rich with Facelift remodeling held that promise on their behalf and for that alone they should make this right for him.

Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong on this relatively simple job. Broken cabinets showed up so the job was put on hold for weeks. A day of work wasted. The day of the install my wall was damaged and had to be repaired. I had to repaint it. Then we found out that the countertops could not be placed because the cabinets were not installed properly. Because of this I had to miss yet another day of work for the cabinets to be removed and installed a second time. Then when we scheduled the countertops to be installed, I had to leave work at noon for the scheduled 12-5 delivery. They did not show until 8PM. More of my work hours wasted. Communication of the delay was not handled well. I was told they would be a little late but given no updates. We had to cancel a planned event that evening because we just didn't know if or when the countertop would show up. Overall this experience was not what I had hoped. I chose their company instead of Lowe's or Home Depot to avoid exactly what happened. I was hoping for a more professional operation. In the end they did install the cabinets properly but the experience and headache to get there was awful.

The starting repair costs would be almost $4,000, however my usual HVAC company said the whole thing needed replacing. AWESOME! Just what I wanted to hear when we're expecting a foot of snow. Even better, he said Trane didn't make a model anymore that would fit in the existing closet. Solution: My Dad just had his entire system and duct work replaced about a month ago by Larry & Sons and they did a great job. So he told me to call them and see what a new system would run. Moe, the Sales Rep, came out that afternoon. He said he could fit a new system with the base models and the high efficiency ones. After going through the house, seeing what I had, didn't like currently, and what I wanted to have, we decided on one of the high-efficiency models, and got a final price worked out. Moe said they'd be here at 8:30AM on Wednesday. Problem Solved: Wednesday, right after we got a foot of snow, they showed up at 8:30AM (exactly) and went to work. They even brought in several heaters for me. These guys went above and beyond in every aspect of their work. They managed to do what Trane said wasn't possible. That evening, the foreman came up and told me they would have to come back and finish up the next day. They made sure we had plenty of heaters and cleaned up after themselves. Considering they'd been installing an all new system, in the freezing cold, and trudging through a ton of snow, you couldn't tell they'd been there. The next day they showed up again at 8:30AM promptly to finish. When they finished, they walked me through the house to make sure I was completely satisfied with each segment. They'd taken away all my old stuff. They'd dug my old cement pad out, where the outside fan sat, and built a new beautiful pad with about a foot of edging all the way around, surrounded by thick wood border. Next he showed me where they had installed some of the pipes and wires along the side of the house. It was well placed, and they even put a casing over the whole length that matched my vinyl siding. Then he showed me the closet where the main unit is. I couldn't believe my eyes. They'd removed all of Trane's equipment and connecting ducting. It looked like a laser had just gutted it and everything was new. He showed me how to change the filter, and where there was a light that kills anything that makes it through the filter. He showed me the return vents they enlarged upstairs to move the air better. Then he programmed the new LED thermostat, while showing me what he was doing so I could change it if I ever wanted. He turned the new system on and it was blowing nice and strong air; you could barely feel it before. The outside unit was just humming quietly. The past four days have been an amazing difference. The fan automatically adjusts how much air to push. It's even learning how long it takes for the temperature to change so when it comes to a time it's supposed to change (like being warmer in the morning), it actually starts the change gradually so it uses less power, and less noise. I'm sorry for such a long review, but I've never felt that just "It's great!" gives me any useful information. Larry & Sons did a fabulous job for my family. They put down floor protectors and wore booties over their boots, so when they were done, my house looks the same... plus a lot of well installed equipment.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND Maybe this is a reason why they are closing!! Wish it could be 0 stars…read more Awful customer service and awful warranty company!!! Don't purchase the warranty. My kid spilled and entire bottle of nail polish remover on a table, the entire bottle. The nail polish remover is covered under the plan, but because she wiped it up with a dry paper towel (to stop more damage) it voided the warranty. They consider wiping with a paper towel IMPROPER cleaning. Instead the company would rather have the nail polish remover continue spread, drip down the side of the table and onto the chairs and floor, causing more damage. Went back to the store (which did not have any customers in it) to ask for help and the two employees did not even look up from their computer to acknowledge me. Completely IGNORED me. After I explained the situation, they never answered until I said "Say something" The only thing the one guy (who sold me the furniture) said (without even looking up) was that I should never have wiped the nail polish remover up with a paper towel. I guess I should have let the nail polish remover drip onto my wood floor and chairs! At least have the decency to look at someone and acknowledge they are talking to you. What the store doesn't tell you when you purchase the warranty, is do not do anything. Let the damage sit there until you can call the company and reach someone on the phone. Even if that means letting nail polish remover drip onto your wood floor from a table. Never new a paper towel would destroy the warranty!
