Awesome dry cleaner located in the Lakewood area. The staff is very friendly and is good about giving you an accurate date/time to comeback to pick up your laundry. They, also, offer to help with sewing up any patches or alterations you may need done. Overall, definitely recommend to anyone looking to take care of their dry cleaning needs in the DFW area! read more

I have always loved this place. "Live Oak Cleaners" do a fantastic job on dry cleaning. They are friendly and helpful. They even had sewing and alterations on Saturday. After the Pandemic (as in now) I was concerned because there was no mention of this service on Yelp. So I called the cleaners before going (with my many bags of clothes needing every type of service) and found out they now have alterations every day (except Sunday)! Hot dog! I have my excellent cleaners back. (In fact, they were never gone.) However, and the reason I'm writing this review, Yelp displays this place none-to one times. Please Yelp, list the Live Oak Cleaners as much as you do other places listed under "All Reviews," (I think). I know I can't get into the "best of" for my one review, but Live Oak Cleaners should be listed under "All." Are they not a cleaners? Are they not on Live Oak (and Skillman)? Thank you very much! read more

The absolute best. We love Live Oak cleaners. Always quick, kind, and they do a great job. We will not go anywhere else!!

The quality of service and relationship we have with Kay and the team at Live Oak keeps us coming back time and time again. Even our son loves visiting! read more

I live in the neighborhood and regularly use Live Oak Cleaners. They do a great job on my shirts and pants at a fair price.

They cleaned & pressed two bright white chefs coats for me. They seemed to be pressed and starched as I had requested but when I took a closer look, none of the recent food spots or stains had been cleaned and one appeared to look even worse. When I asked her if they had even been cleaned she insisted yes and that the stains simply hadn't come out. When I asked if they had tried bleach she said no, and unhelpfully suggested that I could bleach it at home. If you can't actually clean my garment (that had recent, routine food stains), then please don't accept it to begin with. read more

They are great cleaners! I can trust Live Oak with my designer clothing for cleaning and alterations. I can always count on them to do the job well, quickly, and affordably. The service is also friendly and accomodating, I really appreciate them! read more

Got a stain in my dress shirt that I needed out for an upcoming wedding. Live oak cleaners was able to get the stain out for me at a reasonable price in time for the wedding. I would highly recommend them! read more

Very friendly service and always on time with no issues whatsoever. The owner (I think) always remembers my name even though I only come by every so often. No rates posted but the cost is the same as everywhere else. Never a line and I've never had to wait, no matter what time I pick up after work. read more

Quick and easy service! Clothes came out great. I dropped off a mattress pad and a suit and they were ready in 2 days. I did not receive a call when my items were done, and if that is possible for future items would be my only recommendation going forward. Thanks! read more

Charged me over $16 to dry clean an antique table cloth, and didn't completely clean it. It still had spots. I pointed it out, and they didn't offer to at least reduce the price or any other action to apologize. This is an expensive and unresponsive business...not to mention a big disappointment. read more

This is one of the best cleaners are found in Dallas. I would recommend that you check them out and use them for all your dry cleaning and repair needs. They can keep all of your clothes and valuables in a great shape while always giving you a smile! read more

New to Lakewood, I tried this cleaner. I had 2 dresses where deodorant had made a white circle under the armpit. I needed one of them for an event. I told the cleaner and they took them and marked the stains. When I picked them up, both dresses were still stained so I had to leave them again for a "second treatment ". When I picked them the second time, only 1 looked better. The other still had a white circle. I said I wanted to take it some where else. In spite of not telling me at any point they might not be able to get the stain out, and not getting the dress clean enough to wear, they charged me. Now I have to take it to another cleaner and pay them. The material wasn't effected, it just has a white ring, which I know will come out because I've had other cleaners do so. I also can't wear it to my event which is tomorrow. read more

Fantastic cleaners!! Family owned by a fantastic family. They do a great job with my garments every time I stop by, and the customer service is spectacular! Love Love Love this cleaners! Very clean inside and they are so friendly, they greet you by name when you enter and sometimes they even have my items already pulled before I make it to the counter. Incredible people and always perfect results. You have many options in this are, but hands down these folks are the best!

I love this dry cleaners! They are fast and friendly, if I drop off on Friday morning my stuff is usually ready by Saturday. They are closed on Sundays and close at 3:30pm on Saturdays. I have never had a problem with my clothes getting damaged or not being cleaned or pressed properly. A great small, family owned, local business to support! read more

ZERO STARS! This place ruined a $150 dress shirt by attempting to repair a tear in the sleeve. They completely butchered it by putting a patch underneath and running about 100 white stitches (the shirt is blue and white) in some kind of checkerboard pattern on the OUTSIDE of the shirt. I will post a picture if I can. I didn't notice it until I got home, but then took the shirt back and complained to the owner over the phone (she was not in the store). THEN, when she called us back the next day, not only did the owner refuse to undo what they had done, she also refused to refund the $10 cost of the botched repair. Not to mention giving us any compensation for the ruined shirt. The owner was very rude and told us to come get the shirt and that's that! She finally gave us back the $10 after confronting her in person. This is NOT good customer service. I will never take a piece of clothing to them again. DO NOT give them anything to alter or repair, it will be destroyed. read more

Live Oak Cleaners - WARNING. This is how they repair a torn sleeve on the outside of a dress shirt. DO NOT give this place your business. - Laundry Services Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I was not impressed by this place. It cost me over $15 to get 3 shirts cleaned!! They didn't have their rates posted anywhere and the guy who took my shirts just gave me a ticket without telling me when they would be ready. I thought the shirts were clean at first glance but now that I am wearing one I see all these little streaky stains that were not there when I brought them in. I won't be taking my clothes here again. read more

Greatest staff and best service. Quick and convenient. Never had a single issue.

Never had any problems with my clothes here. A great family owned business to support!

The friendliest dry cleaners in town. There are many to choose from in the Lakewood area, and we've tried a few, but we've been with Live Oak Cleaners for over 10 years now and have always been pleased. Alterations done on site, and you can count on service with a smile. read more

I have been coming to this dry cleaners for a few years now after trying a few others in the neighborhood. Kay is the best. Great customer service. Her prices are reasonable, alterations are professional, and she doesn't lose anything. Plus she makes cool art on the side! This place is awesome, I've lived in the Lakewood neighborhood for 9 years and have used this dry cleaner since. Great service and great prices good local dry cleaner shop!

The WORST customer service. My brand new EXPENSIVE shirt was ruined after taking it there. I hadn't washed it or anything and it shrunk to a crop top. They didn't offer me compensation and showed no sympathy. Worst dry cleaner I have been to. read more

My rain jacket is ruined after having it dry cleaned here. There is discoloration, and the original spot I brought it in for was not cleaned. I unfortunately paid before I looked closely at the jacket, but they will not refund my money. Be careful of the items that you bring here to be cleaned, as they may end up damaged with no recompense. read more

Absolutely, 100% disappointed. I have taken my clothes to this cleaners for at least a year now. I have never had any bad experiences with laundry, dry cleaning, or other odds and ends Kay would do for me and my jeans. I went to go pick up a blazer for a suit I have that she had cleaned before with no problem. However this time it looked like they threw it into a washing machine and dried it on high, and then given to a dog to chew on. Kay actually admitted that the jacket was not in that condition when I dropped it off, I dropped it off with her, she admitted it was her fault and her facility's fault. She owns her own cleaning warehouse where the jacket was destroyed. She claimed its because it was old. Um... It was 5 years old. Plus, it's her job to preserve clothing and keep it looking like new, no matter the age. She absolutely refused to pay to replace the jacket, she wouldn't even pay half!! All she offered was store credit. Now why on earth would I ever leave my clothes in the care of her business. While I was there the man that walked in asked about my jacket and he had said he's had a few items that she had destroyed. I was surprised he was even there. Like I said before, I will not be going back. Horrible customer service. read more
