The girls here damaged my $600 mattress had after giving them specific instructions not to put heat on it. I saw them write it on the ticket for my items at drop off. I was supposed to be called to pick up the following Monday however nobody from the company reached out to me. Because of this I decided to go up to the location myself to which they acted surprised that the manager and owner had not contacted me because they damaged my belongings despite the specific instructions given. For weeks I tried to get in contact with the owner John, even though that's his job to get in contact with me, and once I finally got a hold of him he promised that there would be a submission to insurance for my items and I would be reimbursed. This started back in September, it's December 14 the owner has been dodging my calls, the girls at the store have not passed on my information for anything to be taken care of and I now have to move forward with legal action. Money well spent if you're not into folding laundry. Drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon and everything is clean and folded or on hangers (bring your own). They follow my instructions for what to wash cold or hot. They offer scented or unscented detergent or keep yours in a cubby with your name in it if you're particular (and I am). Only negative, and it's not a reflection on them, is that the parking lot is in need of repair so watch your step. read more

I have used this place for years! I am a big fan! They do bundle clothing and dry cleaning which was a major time saver when I was in college. They always do a good job on my clothes and the prices have not changed nor are crazy expensive! I hardly ever write reviews! Although, I wanted to take a second out and write one about this place I have been coming to the Wash House for about three months.. And I am completely satisfied with the service! I travel a ton for work and sometimes last-minute. I dropped my laundry off the day before my trip and I was able to get it back the same day. On the other hand I was stuck on one of my trips for a month... I called Wash House and told them please keep my laundry and don't throw it away! They said no problem and they kept it fresh for me for a whole month! They are very kind, trustworthy and care about their customers. Being where this place is located, I'm surprised there aren't more pictures and reviews! There again, this place is definitely tucked into a small strip, and you would have to know where to look in order to find it. I bought the Groupon back in December, but had several confusing situations in which I could not use it. I brought in dry cleaning, forgetting/not reading the fine print that dry cleaning was not a part of the discount. I wasn't annoyed by this, as I frequently delicate wash all of my clothing, and I had plenty of washing items for them to take care of for me! They were very kind in honoring my groupon despite its expiration. They did an AMAZING job on washing and air drying my delicates, and I have used their dry cleaning services multiple times, as well. It is a family-owned business, with the mom doing the majority of the washing and sorting and her daughters helping with the counter and other tasks. Thank you for the amazing services!! read more

My first red flag was how strange the guy there acted when I asked him to tell me how much the laundry weighed as I dropped it off -- a totally routine question for a laundry-by-the-pound place. When I picked up my laundry, I noticed big black transference stains all over a shirt. I emailed the team and they were responsive (not at all apologetic, mind you) and I planned to bring it in to be cleaned again. Then I noticed it all over SEVERAL garments...and two missing pairs of pants. It's not even worth it to me to bring my clothes in because I don't trust that they'll a) come back clean, or b) come back at all. Excellent customer service! My family came to town for just two days and we were on a tight schedule to have laundry picked up at the hotel, laundered and brought back the next day. After calling more then 30 places and finding out NO ONE offers this service on the weekend, I was getting desperate. I called and spoke to Victor who informed me of their website and App to arrange for a pick up time. It says SAME DAY on the the front of the building in 2 foot tall lettering, but when I went to drop off wash & fold Wednesday before 9 a.m. they told me that Friday was the earliest they could get to it. Told them I was flying out Friday morning so I didn't mind that I couldn't get it back same day but that I needed it by end of day Thursday. No dice. Not possible. They have never been late with my clothes and I've been going to them for about a year now. Also I love that they fold my clothes the "right" way and match my socks together for me!! PRICE GOUGERS, BE WARNED I never though i'd pay $24 to clean a $15 jacket... I was wrong. I took a few of my winter coats in to get dry cleaned before it got cold. When I dropped the coats off I was told $20 for two coats. When I came back to pick them up the next day somehow $20 had turned to $56. I informed the attendant of the price I was quoted, he said there was nothing he could do and if I wanted the clothes I had to pay $56. We had our laundry room remodeled so we decided to use a wash & fold service for our laundry. We chose Washouse. Same day service was great. Clothes came back sort of clean though. The biggest issue was they lost our bedspread. I've been in contact with "the manager". It has been 2 weeks and no bedspread and no update. Poor customer service. Too bad. DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITIES, MY CLOTHES ARE RUINED I dropped off 60lbs of laundry expecting to be able to wear it. I know, I know.... that's a lot of laundry! After a while of procrastinating and unpacking all the laundry from my recent move, I decided to let someone else do it. Besides, I had several vouchers from Living Social. Here's the situation. I get busy sometimes and laundry does not always get done. I really need a go-to place to let someone else wash and fold it. In all honesty, it could make life a little smoother for everyone in the house. I have a serious allergy to fragrance - fabric softener and strong detergent give me problems. I've been all over google looking for a free & clear laundry service, this is the one that actually states that they can accommodate you. They state that they can work with any situation you may have regarding your clothing. The staff is friendly and nice. If I wasn't so crazy allergic to fabric softener, I would love this place. It would be my favorite. The clothes were cleaned promptly and folded ever so nice. This is the first time I've ever put folded underwear in my drawer. I just don't fold these things and my fiancee expects it. Win-win! I asked for no softener and for them to use All free and clear. My clothes came back smelling like a box of softener. I went on 2 different occasions, dropping the loads off 30lbs at a time, one day apart. I have 60lbs of laundry that I can not be around. I'm on three zyrtec (is that safe?) and my face and body are so itchy I can't stand it. My head is pounding. EVERY PIECE OF LAUNDRY HAS TO BE REWASHED. Simply rewashing it won't do, that fragrance clings to EVERYTHING. I've googled a million times how to get the scent out of the clothes and its doing a minimal job of getting the fragrance out. I'm washing on the heavy load with simple green and oxiclean with a double vinegar rinse. All in all, it is costing me twice as much in water to re-wash the clothes and I may not even be able to wear them. In fact, its a triple whammy - I paid to have them done, now I have to rewash at least twice - twice the water use. Even more, as I have the clothes in the house, my allergies are going insane. They're in the side room and I can smell them all over the house. This is serious. My throat has been sore since they've been here. My face is itchy and slightly swollen. Was it worth it to buy the living social deal? NO. Would it be worth it if I could be around that much fragrance? Sure! That's why they even got some stars in the first place. Some people love fragrance. I am not one of them. Its not that I don't like it, I just can't be around it. If you have fragrance allergies, stay out of this place. read more

Wow Groupon did me a solid. Had no ooo idea about this place until it popped up on groupon $10 for $25. I recently moved and got way behind on laundry and my son mixed clean with Dirty clothes and so I amassed several laundry hampers worth of clothes that we dont even need to wear right now. I stuffed them all in 2 lawn size trash bags and dropped them off here afraid of what it might weigh being it's priced per pound to clean. I've used and liked this business for the past year. Sadly my opinion changed the last time I took a load of laundry there. On collecting my laundry, the load (and charge) seemed much lower than usual. On getting home and unpacking my laundry I noticed that there were several items missing - including a large (new) bath towel and sheets. BEWARE. ...seriously. Find a different service. Go to a coin-op. Wash your items by hand in the kitchen sink. Anything is better than this place if you are fond of holding on to your belongings. Note the other 1-star ratings below. I wish I had seen them before going to the WasHouse!! Their good days certainly seem to be behind them, as the MOST RECENT ratings and comments indicate that the WasHouse is no longer in the business of cleaning your clothes, but of selectively taking your goods to their own closets. This is an extremely convenient service, so long as you don't mind forcibly "donating" your treasured articles to the employees and their families. I had used this service a couple of times and been quite pleased until I noticed that they were pilfering my expensive brand-name items--including bras and underwear!! Most recently, they admitted to "losing" our Calvin Klein bedsheets and duvet. Fortunately for them, their policy does not require that they compensate their customers for loss replacement. I understand losing the occasional sock, but how can the WasHouse reasonably expect their customers to understand "misplacing" large items like King-sized bedding??!?!! A SINGULAR trip to the laundry has ended up costing us over $400 in combined fees and loss...not to mention the (4) trips back and forth to their location trying to get them to cooperate. I even asked if we might be able to view the surveillance from the (1) day that they had our items in their possession for washing--hoping to play "follow the queen" and see where our bedding ended up. The response was that ONLY ONE person knew how to operate the surveillance system, and of course that person was to be out of town for the next two weeks, so they could not accommodate our request to ACTUALLY LOOK for our things. Pretty much "sorry, not sorry." Please, think twice before using this service. read more

Unfortunately I had to knock down a star. Two weeks in a row, I came home with someone else's underwear. I called about it and the guy was nice and told me just to throw them away because it was pretty likely no one would come back for them. This made me wonder if people were going home with our unmentionables! I suggested an inventory list like other services use for the customer and the launderer to cross reference. He didn't seem to like the idea, but he was nice about it. I'm going to drop off laundry today and if it happens again I won't return. The other unfortunate thing is that they increased their price per pound by 30 cents. I chose to use the Wash House because the prices were very competitive, but now not so much. read more

I was staying for business in a downtown Dallas hotel for an extended period. Rich from the Washouse Laundry was fantastic. He arranged a driver to pick my laundry up and it was washed & delivered the next day to my hotel. I used my garment bag and left it at the front desk. The clothes were washed and folded nicely, then bundled in one protective wrap which made it easy to pack. My garment bag was returned with the clothes, and Rich offered a laundry bag with the return. The value and convenience was excellent, and I can highly recommend the Washouse Dallas. read more

SAME DAY PICK UP (9PM THE LATEST) IF DROPPED OFF BY 4PM - OPEN EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK! This establishment needs better business practices. 1st time I ever used this place was because I needed same day service. The website said to drop off by 10:30am for same day p/u @ $.99/lb. Got there before that time, and the associate said it would be ready next day...that I was supposed to have been there before 10am and site was outdated! Ok, whatevs - they should've had the right info on the site, but I should've known better and called beforehand to verify the info. Delayed my trip and picked up the clothes the next day - was charged $1.09/lb versus the $.99/lb. When I mentioned to her what the site said about the pricing, again the response of the site is out of date and it is what it is. To me, best business practice would have been to honor what the site said regarding same day pick up and pricing, but the lady wasn't having it...most likely because her hands were tied and she was just a worker bee. Gave them another chance to redeem themselves this weekend - got there b4 10am Sat because I needed to p/u same day. This time I was told that it would be ready by 6pm Monday (they're closed Sun) because they were really busy - I told her I really needed it same day and that I made sure I was there before 10am. She didn't care - got another "we're busy, so it'll be ready Monday by 6pm". Walked out with my hamper of dirty clothes and will never go back!
