My little one saw Erin Gonzalez here for speech therapy for six months. Three-four stars for the therapy content and one for the billing nonsense at the end. Erin is very sweet with children and kiddo enjoyed the speech therapy. She had a few tips that stuck and my little one's enunciation - which wasn't horrible, but was a bit behind peers - did improve during that time. At the end of six months, based on feedback from kiddo's teacher and some other educational figures, as well as my /grandparents/coparent's perception of moderate improvement, we decided to close out the therapy sessions. Erin looked a bit disappointed when I told her the final date, but was professional enough. She insisted that she would "re-assess" progress during that day's session, instead of going over the usual consonant sounds. She sold it a bit - kept talking about it - and I agreed, thinking it was harmless enough to have a written record of progress. The initial assessment at our first visit had been priced the same as the ensuing therapy sessions, so I wasn't worried about pricing. Erin went over her "re-assessment" of kiddo upon our return. My initial perception was that she showed the need for speech therapy as more extreme than assessed at our first visit. There was a minimal nod in one segment to minor progress. There were multiple areas where the report seemed to show regression. It was a bit alarming and my first thought was that she was far less happy about our quitting than she had expressed. Thinking I might not remember the initial assessment accurately, I compared the two reports when I arrived home. My initial instinct was correct. The second surprise arrived a month or two later. A bill (despite our having paid the usual co-pay at the visit) for THREE TIMES the co-pay. Almost $200. Because Tesoros had billed insurance differently, this "re-assessment" had been assessed differently in connection with our deductible and the insurance wouldn't pay. Calls to Tesoros (it took a week of daily calls to get a person on the line) resulted in a circular explanation of how they bill re-assessments. They couldn't explain why it would *need* to be done on a child's next-to-last visit, or why it was billed at a higher rate and filed with insurance differently than the initial assessment. After months of going back and forth with them, I've reported them to my insurance company's fraud team, paid the bill to avoid a credit report ding, and am reviewing them here. It's left us with a very sour impression of what was, otherwise, quite a harmless and neutral experience. read more

I office near Little Tesoros Therapy Services. I have never ever been in need of their services, or done business with them. But I write to say, that whatever they do, I hope and pray they do it well. It literally breaks your heart to see the children they work with. Little tiny humans with sometimes crippling problems. They work in our atrium with the kids doing different things, sometimes going upstairs, sometimes riding on a scooter, sometimes just walking. I saw a young girl the other day, just working over and over again to get up one stair. I had to go in the bathroom, close the stall and just weep. Later I saw her laughing and smiling and playing with her little brother, doing things that kids do, she just couldn't do them walking. Those kids, and their parents, and families need all the help they can get. I hope Little Tesoros is helping the living heck out of them. I could never do the work they do, I'd just spend all day crying and hugging the kids. read more

I love Little Tesoros. My daughter has been seeing therapists at LTTS since she was 8 weeks old when she was diagnosed with down syndrome. She is now 2 years old and we have been going ever since. We have worked with different therapists (PT/ST) along they way and each and every single one of the therapists that work there are amazing, wonderful, and extremely educated in their field. My daughter has progressed so much and I have learned so much from what they have taught me and my daughter. The progress that my daughter has made because of the LTTS staff is tremendous. I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. In sitting in the waiting room it is very apparent how much they all care for each and everyone of their patients. My son went here based on some great reviews. Our therapist, Sarah, was amazing and wonderful and I completely recommend her! I've heard other therapist are awesome as well. My problem is with their unreasonable cancellation policy. One day months ago when school schedules were normal, our son had a field trip that didn't make it to our calendar. We normally brought him late to school because of his Tesoros visit, but that day he reminded us about the field trip so we missed his Tesoros appointment. Do I mind paying a last minute cancellation fee of $50? Not at all-- that was our bad for not planning appropriately. What I did not expect was, as part of the cancelation, I was also required to re-book that same appointment. We were not able to just skip that appointment and see them next week. This would have made my son arrive to school at 11am (since they didn't have earlier appts available) twice in one week so Tesoros could 'replace' that appointment instead of skipping it. This is what I feel was not reasonable. I let them know and they just unapologetically said this was their policy. Make sure you understand all of these policies before doing intake! read more

I LOVE Little Tesoros! They know they are working with little treasures, and they are incredibly supportive of children and families. We have been going to LTTS for three years for our daughter with CP - we do speech, occupational and physical therapy + participate in their intensive therapy programs when they are offered. We transitioned from our ECI program to LTTS at the unanimous recommendation of our ECI team. Our daughter is a bit of a puzzle, and sometimes it is hard to assess what she can do, but the team at LTTS is fantastic. They are motivated to learn new things and use that knowledge to support our daughter in all she can do. My daughter has participated in at least two on site training demonstrations where LTTS brought in experts to train staff. Her team used it as an opportunity to bring in expert knowledge on her particular case and to use best practice to support her and move her forward. They are professional, kind, and respectful and they believe in my daughter. I repeatedly hear from other professionals working with kids with special needs that LTTS is the best in the region - ECI staff, School District Staff, Doctors and Nurses. I believe it! The entire staff is incredible. They have bent over backwards to deal with our insurance and make sure we get the maximum therapy benefit possible. The intensive therapy camps have been completely covered by insurance, all due to the incredible pre-work of the office staff! The therapists know their stuff and work with us to make sure we know how to best support our daughter at home. They see the potential of every child, and the push us all to realize it. They have collaborated with the school district and helped us write goals... I can go on and on. They are fantastic. We love them ALL! read more

Mary Kay was a tremendous help in training our infant how to use a bottle and breast feed after having had a tongue tie. She explained things very clearly, was very patient, kind, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. She genuinely cared about our child. The girl I nanny for has some serious problems, and the therapists here are amazing with her! They even talk to myself and the parents to let us know what we can do to help out to make things easier and better for everyone, especially her! We moved her over from just doing PT to doing PT, OT, and ST! I'm in there a lot during the week and it's just a wonderful atmosphere. They now have 2 waiting rooms and the newer one is much quieter and relaxed without people running in and out. It's nice for someone like me who has to be there for hours at a time. Definitely recommend this place over any of the other therapy services she has been to!! They even recommended the school she is now attending! read more

When my 6 month old son was diagnosed with torticollis, I was a little scared and didn't know what to expect from physical therapy. I didn't want anyone hurting my baby. Carole at Little Tesoros instantly put my mind and heart at ease. She treated my baby with kindness and care as if he were her own, while at the same time informing me of what she was going to do next and why. He progressed at a rapid rate and was discharged from therapy a few weeks before we predicted. I am so grateful to Carole for the care she gave to my family. Little Tesoros is such a magical place. I loved sitting in the waiting room and watching all kinds of children with various needs come through. Their therapists were always so loving and seemed to take a personal interest in the kids. For the past four years my son has received physical, occupational, and speech therapy at Little Tesoros. We've worked with a variety of therapists and have LOVED every one of them! I love that our therapists work together to brainstorm and set goals. Their team approach to therapy makes me feel confident that my son is receiving the best treatment- and he's having fun while doing it! This is my first ever yelp review! I just had to let others know what an excellent experience we've had at LTTS. I have now sent 2 of my kids to Little Tesoros - one for speech therapy and the other for occupational therapy - and have had an exceptional experience each time I walk through the door. Their clinic doesn't feel like a "clinic" at all. Each person is warm, welcoming, and invested in my kids' comfort and success. Their therapists are creative and great at giving insightful feedback and communicating ways to help continue new therapy techniques at home. There is no end to toys, games, and fun activities in the gym. My kids look forward to their therapy day each week, and are always asking to go back. My boys have improved leaps and bounds thanks to the love and attention they've received at LTTS! read more

I completely agree with the 5 star reviews. I have seen how my kids have flourished there. I have taken 3 of my adopted kiddos there for more than a year. They have a genetical/past environment mild development issues not severe enough to give it a diagnosis but severe enough to disrupt my life and theirs.... and they were good enough to spot it and understand their delays (pediatrician kept saying there was nothing wrong with them) Among them all, they are seeing 4 different therapist and I'm eternally grateful to them... We did have one that was new to the place and I did not feel there was the same 'connection/progress/vibe' I have seen with the other therapists so I quickly changed to another one in the same place and I'm very pleased. My older daughter received OT services at LTTS and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. We saw such a change in our daughter in a short period of time. I think Little Tesoros Therapy is a wonderful therapy environment for my daughter. We have been a client there for 3 years for PT, OT and ST. All of the therapists she's worked with have been kind, patient and focused on her needs. After 3 years my daughter is down from 4 hours of therapy a week to needing just 1. She has worked hard but this kind of progress would never have been possible without the help of these wonderful therapists. The level of caring that we have experienced from everyone at the LTTS office has been huge; I really feel that they care about what happens to my daughter and our entire family. I'm sad that another reviewer had a negative experience with LTTS and happy to hear that they found somewhere that works for them. Needing therapy for your child is a very emotional experience and you need to feel comfortable; we have always been very comfortable with LTTS. read more

I took my two month old daughter to this place for physical therapy for approximately 2 months. I should have known better than to go back after the first visit. The therapist was unprofessional even during the first appointment (answered personal cell phone call during the session). On subsequent sessions, made very rude comments about my child/ and myself when she would not cooperate with her stretches (keep in mind my daughter was three months old at the time). I have a doctorate degree in a related field and have extensive experience in early childhood interventions and I would have taken action if she worked in one of my clinics. I also wrote down the rude comments that she made to me and read them to my pedi who also agreed that she was totally out of line. I have now transferred to Big Sky Pediatric Therapy and LOVE IT. My daughter actually enjoys physicial therapy (which is saying A LOT for a 5 mo old) and ther therapist is super nice and professional. read more
