V-14 Dok Ramen Soup *

Run by an old woman. Endorsed by many including my husband but for some reason, I didn't like the food. Apparently the ramen was too good but I am not a fan of ramen. The ma pho tofu was too dry for me and so didn't enjoy much.

Little Pusan is back!! Every dish at Little Pusan is made with care and brought out piping hot and delicious. The fried dumplings are perfect with delicate, crispy wraps. The bibimbap is an amazing fusion of flavors. The ginger chicken hits the perfect level of spicy and the vegetables are perfectly done. It's not fancy - but it's impossible to care about decor when you are served such mouth-watering, wonderful Korean dishes at Little Pusan.

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant. We came here with some friends after a visit to the Discovery Museum. My friend is a vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian selections. I ordered the tteokbokki and dolsot bi bim bap. Food was absolutely fantastic. Tteokbokki was the perfect texture while spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Loved the crunch the heated stone pot gave the bi bim bap. We brought two babies, and the owner was wonderful to both. Most of the time the babies were in their car seats next to us on the floor (restaurant is small but we made it work!). However, we brought them on our laps towards the end. The owner talked about her granddaughter with such happiness. While we were setting up the stroller to leave, my 5 month old was crying in her car seat. The owner squatted down to rock her and speak to her in Korean. So sweet. Will absolutely be back.

My cousin wanted to try Korean food, so I brought him Little Pusan after our chocolate adventure (Little Chocolatier). The waitress (owner?) is a cute little ole lady who was enjoying her korean drama (we did too lol) I can tell she takes pride in her food because she checked in on us frequently and didn't take too kindly if we said the food was too spicy (it wasn't for me, but it was for my guest). The portion was huge! Also, the menu was very extensive. Note: if you have a party of 5, PLEASE call ahead, the shop is very small. I wish I knew more about Korean food to give a better review, but all I can say is I enjoyed this experience. Will definitely come back.

Yooooo this place is awesome! Who would've known that one of the best Korean food in MA would be in Maynard! I'm korean and I've been looking for traditional style korean food. Even the interior design is so korean. I love it! The dishes are more than the average Maynard price, but there ain't such a thing as cheap korean food in America. Only at KTown in LA LOL. I would totally come back here to eat! Ahhhh I'm so happy I found this place! Also, their kimchi is FRESH and so....idk how to explain it. You gotta be korean to get ma flow. Anyways, come here! Real great! Has a lot of vegetarian options as well!!

I love this place. Little Pusan is a tiny mom-and-pop restaurant serving fresh, authentic and delicious Korean food at a great price. The menu is straightforward. The portions are totally appropriate. They have a beer-and-wine license and offer a simple selection of both. It's a little mom-and-pop restaurant, so ya, you'll wait a little longer when it's crowded. It's not the place to go if you're in a rush or looking to stuff yourself and they lay no claim to being a Korean BBQ. Take it for what it is, and you'll love it. http://www.littlepusan.com/

Authentic and home made. Soups and stews are especially tasty and the dumplings are the best I've ever had.

Hands down the worst Korean I have had. I had to throw it away. Bulgolgi was rubbery and came with rice and beans.

We've been looking for a Scorpion bowl / scallion pancake house since China Rainbow in Watertown…read moreSquare closed, and I think the search is over. I may miss Tammy and the Mai Tais that could peel paint, but Magnolias delivers across the board. Scallion pancakes were perfectly crispy, and the dipping soy was rich with garlic and ginger. I ordered the Yu Xiang shrimp and asked them to make it spicy... it was perfect, with crisp vegetables in a flavorful sauce and a generous potion of shrimp, no shell. My girlfriend got the pineapple fried rice and while it didn't come in a pineapple, it was a solid meal... and nobody eats the pineapple bowl anyway. But what about the scorpion bowl? It came to the table cold, and while it wasn't as wide a bowl as a lot of places, it was deep, and it did not play. Let's just say you get your moneys worth... not just the rocket fuel, but fresh juices expertly blended with not too much ice. We still had ice in the bottom when we finished, but the shape of the bowl kept the smaller portion of ice colder longer so the ice didn't melt and water it down. Service was prompt and friendly, decor was tasteful and understated, settings were neat and clean. Bartender was hip and friendly. Spectacular. 10/10. We'll be back.

Have tried many of the Korean restaurants in Allston and this, K Restaurant, seems to outrank them all! As for service -- indeed you pay first, but was a bit confused about the server/front desk who pretty much tell you to order before seated (choosing your own table), take your order, serve you with all the food, etc -- literally she handles all the customer service stuff -- wondering why she did not appear at pleasant or smile at all. Don't get me wrong, fully aware of wide range of personalities -- some appear more excited and enthusiastic than others others -- even without the the usual tipping at the end, and especially with the tipping at the end. Here, of course you pay -- and finalize your tip or no time before being served with your food, but still the server did not appear to greet or show those standard pleasantries expected all common in America ... She wasn't rude or anything. It just seems like she's not happy being there. Any event, just some thoughts here. Would definitely be back. And do recommend this place to others who want delicious meal but just note the above.

I never really comment about it but it was geniunely quite good since the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable. Back to the food, we had the galbi, the shrimp, the korean seafood pancake, and the jjajangmyeon. The galbi was tender but it was a bit on the burnt side and I would have liked for it to be marinated a bit longer since the galbi flavor comes from the korean pear marinade My favorite was the shrimp. It was a simple dish but a pleaasant experience. It showed how simple raw shrimp and rice can be so delicious My second favorite was the seafood pancake. This was very filling with good flavor. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the seafood. The Jjajangmyeon was a little disappointing. I was expecting a little more punch with the black bean sauce but the rest of the ingredients were nicely cooked and I liked the touch of the apples. 8/10 - solid spot and would come back
