Ah yes how much I love cockroaches crawling on everything. I hate that I ordered my food before noticing. Wow!

A great stop for something filling that isn't fast food on a long road trip. The food was flavourful and you get plenty of it for the price. They even offered sauces, which were all fantastic. The people that work there are super nice too. You'll be happy you tried this place.

First time coming here and it won't be the last! At first I was skeptical about the place but I did like the self ordering machines they had! Our food took a normal amount of time and it was definitely worth the wait! The amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable!!! The music was a vibe, loved the songs. Overall 10/10 !! Left with a full stomach and leftovers!!!!! If you love hibachi...this place is for you.

This was my first time here, it's not a great place to go late at night on Sunday. Might as well go to a grocery store. I waited about 25-30 minutes for the food. The sushi is decent. I drank about a third of the bubble tea and threw the rest out. It didn't taste too good to me. I got the buy 1 get 1 free, and gave the other one to a random person. The price isn't worth it for the bubble tea. If I go back I'll try the smoothie or just go with the old fashioned fountain drink or water. The ambiance isn't too bad, although there were a lot of people standing around for their orders.

Good little find. Self order kiosks are a nice touch. The employee was very friendly at the register as he gave us our food. The food was good and we ordered a variety. Would come here again!

Was only in Texas for two weeks and went to this place almost everyday. Their boba tea is amazing!

Clean , quick and fresh enough but I can't say it's the best I've had. Market Street Sushi is just as good and better priced

Sushi was suspect/mediocre at best. Market street would've tasted better. Tea was okay. Looking forward to trying the Ramen.

When I visited, I was greeted by the owner: the restaurant is run by just one older Filipino woman and she was so incredibly sweet and welcoming. Instead of a menu, she tells you what she has prepared for that day. When I went, I either had the option of ordering Pancit (stir fried rice noodles) or Chicken Curry. I ended up going with the Pancit and it did not disappoint. To start off, the presentation of the dish is great- the lemon flavor actually went well on the noodles. As for the taste, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful meal- the pancit had salmon and a variety of different veggies. Since I ordered the Pancit meal it came with lumpia (filipino eggroll) as an appetizer and flan for dessert. These were also great but the best part is that this entire meal was less than $10! Not to mention, the portions for the Pancit was huge (I had to get a to-go box and I had it for lunch the next day). All in all, I never thought I'd be able to experience Filipino food in Brownwood but I'm very happy to say that Manila Kitchen is the place to go if you want home-cooked Filipino food made with love!

We came in for a quiet family lunch after a busy morning. We had been to Korean barbecue facilities before (I told that to the waiter). Perhaps the venue had been overwhelmed by ASU students or remote workers in the past; they have a notice posted that customers shouldn't stay longer than two hours. We didn't look like students, none of us had a laptop, we ordered two complete "all you can eat" tickets plus a few items to go, and we only stayed for about 40 or 50 minutes. The place wasn't crowded, either; I think only two or three other tables were occupied. We explored the salad bar, commended some of the condiments, and had plenty enough to consume in our plates. We ate everything we ordered, leaving no waste. EVERY DAMN FIVE MINUTES the damn guy came to our table and asked the same stupid damn question. You know that question. You heard it yourself. It's OK to hear it maybe once or twice throughout a visit. Not every damn five minutes, particularly if you woke up at 7 AM and think you just found a perfect place with delicious Far Eastern food you can almost meditate at while cooking it yourself. ...Get a butane tank, a butane grill and cook authentic Korean meat in your backyard. I learned the hard way.

By far, my favorite thing was the pan fried dumpling, but that was an experience to even get. $30 for dinner isn't bad. I did not leave full because my orders kept getting lost. I ordered the pan fried dumpling 4 times before i actually received it, and it took an hour. Fortunately, it was all you can eat, so I didn't get charged for every order. I ordered additional items that never made it. Apparently, the kitchen is a free for all. The waitress said people kept taking her orders. For the meat you cook yourself, the short ribs were good. The bugolgi was OK. The jumbo shrimps were good. Someone in our group found an area with more sauces we could have used after the fact, but for what i got, they were fine. When they finally brought out my dumplings, my order was combined with someone else's. Fine, we shared. The worst part was splitting the check. Their system divided the drinks into everyone's check. But no one came to tell us what the hild up was. I only had water. After waiting 45 minutes for the check, I finally had to get up and ask for mine because I had the early flight, out of town and needed to get to bed. I paid for part of someone's beer. Super obnoxious. Fix the issues with the sales systems. Don't make people order the same food multiple times (and keeping individual orders would probably be less confusing). Overall, decent food. Uncontrolled chaos.

A Longtime Customer Completely Let Down…read more I've been eating sushi for over 30 years, and Masa Bistro & Sushi Bar used to be one of our favorite spots for birthdays, family dinners, and gatherings with friends. After our most recent visit? We won't be coming back. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll--something I've had countless times at restaurants across the country. What arrived was covered in eel sauce and stuffed with lettuce. I politely asked the waitress if I could get it remade without the extras. She was kind and put in the request. Then she came back and said the manager told her "the description for the shrimp tempura roll is on the Roll page." The problem? I ordered it from the Lunch Specials menu, which has no description at all. So unless I had read the Roll page in advance, I was just supposed to guess it would be a totally different version. Instead of fixing it, the manager told her I'd have to pay full price for a second roll--plus an extra dollar just to get spicy mayo. What should have been a simple, reasonable request turned into nickel-and-diming and a complete lack of hospitality. Then came the food: * The miso soup tasted like brown aquarium water--seriously. Not savory or warm, just murky and fishy, like the smell of a dirty fish tank. * My daughter ordered the Japanese ramen, which her dad has had many times before at this same restaurant. It normally came with the typical wiggly ramen noodles. This time? Thick spaghetti noodles that tasted like plastic. The broth was equally awful--exactly how an old aquarium smells. * The Chicken Pad Thai was the one bright spot. Delicious as always and the only dish we finished. And to top it off: when we placed our order, I told the waitress we were celebrating a birthday. She got excited and offered us the Birthday Fried Banana Dessert--which we accepted. My daughter was excited about it. But guess what? It never came. Not a word, not an apology, not a check-in. We've celebrated so many birthdays and special moments at Masa over the years, but after this experience--between the dismissive management, disappointing food, and forgotten birthday--we're completely done. We took the leftovers home and fed them to our chickens because I refused to waste $70+ on trash. So congratulations, Masa: my chickens got the most expensive meal of their life . Update: 8-5-25: My friend somehow got the food report from the Food Inspectors that just happened 6-23-2025 *need dates on defrosted food *no soap at bar *missing dates on food Check the pics for more of the report
