Been going to this place for years and really enjoy the food. My favorite is the chicken fried rice and the orange chicken dinner plate. This recent visit I decided to try out the pepper steak dinner plate with extra steak for an extra $2 charge. I was expecting a little bit more meat but hey everyone's "extra" portions vary so I guess/hope i got the extra i paid for and it wasn't just a regular dinner plate size. The steak plate was good, the onions and peppers had a nice texture and was not soggy. it did have A LOT of juice in the box so it made quite a bit of a mess in the carry out bag. I think I will just stick to my usual ordered plates like the orange/sesame/general tso's chicken plates which are very delicious and when I add extra meat I can definitely tell there is EXTRA. I eat here on the regular and today I decided to see if the online ordering worked. It worked like a champ! McDonald's on Judge Ely & Whataburger on E. 80 could learn something from them. I love the sizzling chicken and discovered that I could order it extra spicy! Also it gave me the option to leave out the green bell peppers for the win! This is a local business that supports the community (look at all the school plaques) so I like doing business with them. They are always friendly when I go there so it makes me wonder what type of attitude some of the bad reviewers had. Hungry for Chinese type food, we found Little Panda, and decided to try it. After ordering, we had to wait at least 10 minutes in sweltering heat. It was 108 degrees outside, and we were almost cooler stepping back outside. The food was plentiful, but made us sick, and even made the dog sick! Ordered at this restaurant meaning to order at the other one. It was a very rainy day, and while I was at the wrong one, I called and found out I called this restaurant on Jude Ely. They informed me I was at the wrong one, and said they already made the food. As the roads were bad, I'm a person of my word, and drove to the other side of town to pick up the food. When I got there, they had closed the restaurant, locked the door, and weren't even there. Never called me, had to drive back even farther to get home. I couldn't believe how inconsiderate they were. I'm sorry but there is no flavor in this food. We tried sesame chicken with fried rice, shrimp fried rice and dumplings. Everything was bland, sesame chicken did not taste like any sesame chicken I've had. Even after adding soy sauce to fried rice it still lacking flavor. read more

I'm about burned out on the Chinese buffets. I keep hearing how good Little Panda is from friends. I grabbed take out from the Judge Ely store which was quick and easy. Great food, and excellent service!! This location has far surpassed the original Rebecca Lane location. The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is exceptional. The $5 lunch menu gives you a great value for your money! I also ordered a large delivery order for my entire office, enough to feel 40 people. They came in early and made it in time to deliver by 11am. Definitely above and beyond!!! It's a sad day for me, I have refused to eat at Little Panda, both locations, in support of the rude behavior from this company. I placed a delivery order, paid by credit card, and even fell into the " would you like to leave a tip for the driver" trick, yes, I went ahead and tipped before getting my order. So, my order arrived, the driver left, when I opened my bag, i noticed my meal wasn't there. I immediately called the restaurant, told them the problem, got switched to a woman , maybe manager, but not sure, she said the order was left on the table, not with the driver. I said, so shouldn't I get my next meal free, she said the driver would have to come back and pick up my order, same one mind you, not freshly made, then drive back to deliver my food and she said no, we don't give out gift certificates or compensate for what they messed up on. I would never want to run a business that way. Apparently, Little Panda can piss off their customers after they've made an error and gotten payment for a food service that hasn't even occurred yet and they're ok with it. I will never give them my hard earned money ever again, the food is good but those Little Panda people are awful. I have to select a star rating or this won't post. Ordered a sesame beef entree, and was charged for a sesame chicken dinner. When I called to complain about being over charged, the manager told me the price was correct, despite the listed menu price in the menu delivered with my order being far less. Rather than try to correct the issue, the manager was a compete asshole who insisted that I made a different order than I did. Will never be ordering from this place again. If I wanted to be gouged for prices, I'd go to the IRS. to make things worse, the food was sub par, with my girlfriend's lemon chicken betting fried chicken strips with a light squirt of lemon juice and no sauce. List of things more enjoyable than little pandas food: Being audited by the IRS having a tooth pulled with no anesthetic Being awake during open heart surgery Etc. I have been to Little Panda twice now. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast! The portions are pretty big too! This first time I had Kung Pao Chicken, which is my go-to at any Chinese restaurant that I haven't been to before. I was not a big fan of the flavor of their Kung Pao. The second time, however, I had the General Chicken and it was delicious! I read a tip online to order it with white meat only and it will be fresh, less breaded, and just overall better. That's how I ordered it and I was impressed. I will definitely go back for more! read more

The food was 30 minutes late and the orange peel chicken was burnt and disgusting. I also ordered a fried shrimp app to fulfill their $15 min order for delivery. Not sure if I'm reviewing the right location since I don't live in Abilene but I go to the Little Panda in the same strip as Betty Rose's BBQ. I make a trip to Little Panda each time I visit Abilene. The portions are huge and prices are hella cheap. I rarely finish my meal which comes in handy when I get the munchies at late night. Thank God for microwaves in hotel rooms. I've tried variety of dishes and all have been good. I get the combo which comes with fried rice and a egg roll. The spicy options are exactly as depicted, the flavors are good, the family filled like happy turkeys right before Thanksgiving. Do not let the location and the run down decor drive you away. We also had a order of dumplings and unfortunately there was hardly any filling in the middle of them. I am the type of person that will give a place at least 2 chances. I have eaten in and ordered out from Little Panda for 3 years and they used to be an OK place for a fast food version of Chinese food. I have never seen and establishment go so far down hill in so little time. I was in yesterday and not one of the kitchen workers was wearing a face mask or gloves. The guy who took my order got it wrong - twice. The second time I just gave him the numbers from the menu and he still got it wrong. The food was poorly prepared and the sauces watered down. Little Panda has lost my business after tonight. For those interested, they offer pretty good food and reasonable prices.. And free delivery! The problem here is the customer service. I ordered delivery about three weeks back and was missing egg rolls when it arrived, I was not too worried about it as I thought I could just get them the next time I ordered. Upon calling tonight I was told they showed no orders from my number and would not be able to replace my egg rolls. After being transferred to the manager I was told that they could not just give out extra food to everyone who asked. I had read a few reviews on another website and I was sketchy on whether or not to order from here. I would have to say, nothing that I read was true! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely nice as well. I ate fried rice for years and now i have found this guys fried rice and it makes me feel like I'm living overseas again. i eat there so much i just give them my phone number and they say ok it will be ready when you get here.
