So I called in a delivery at 6:32 PM on February 3, 2026. We ordered two sweet-and-sour chickens with fried rice sweet-and-sour soup in general chicken. The lady on the phone said it would take an hour while it had been over an hour so I called the store she said let me call. The driver awaited called back and said what's going on. She said he should be there so I go to look outside. He's not there so I called back in the phone was busy and I kept trying to call back. My sister kept trying to call back and the phone stayed busy till they closed so I'm assuming they took it off the hook which was Wrong. I said to her before all this happened. My food's gonna be cold She said no it's not needless to say all the food was cold. We had no way to call back to try to figure this out or get any kind of refund. I thought that was very unprofessional and rude. Needless to say it took an hour and 45 minutes I did give them the new address cause they had the old address and when I did call and ask where my driver was, I repeated the address again. Every town has them. About 10 small Chinese restaurants dishing out tasty and quick Chinese fast food. Abilene has 2 Little Panda's and Mike and I go to the one on the south side every so often. Mike loves the orange chicken, so he gets...the same thing...every time. The boredom of this just drives me crazy! How can you not try something new at least once in a while? Curry Mei Fun, House Special Lo Mein, and Moo Goo Gai Pan are some of my favorites. Roast Pork with Chinese vegetables is always good. Is this gourmet Chinese food? Nope. Go to North 10th for better service and food. We stopped by the Rebecca Lane location today and ended up walking out. We wanted to substitute mei fun noodles for our rice at lunch, but the girl running the register said "we're out." We said "really?", and she openly said "well, actually, we aren't out, I just don't know how to ring those up." She then said "I can do lo-mein noodles though." So, she was willing to give us the wrong thing as a substitute instead of figuring out how to ring up an item we asked for that we confirmed was available at the time, all because she didn't know how and wasn't willing to figure it out. REALLY?? You don't know how to do your job, so instead of figuring it out, you refuse to help your customers? She then asked a guy that was sitting down eating, and he said "we've never done that." We explained that we have come to this location since it opened, and have done it every time without incident until today. He just shrugged his shoulders and said "well, we don't do that." We told them we could go to the other location and have no problems, and they said "maybe so, but we don't do that." Again, just being lazy and refusing to figure out how to do the job. So, we went to the North 10th location and got exactly what we wanted, no problem at all (as expected). We will NEVER come to the Rebecca location again. Before today I had always preferred ordering Chinese from this restaurant but not anymore. The food has always been good but the service is absolutely horrible. Today I ordered two lunches one with a drink and one with a soup. The driver didn't give me a drink and when I called and asked about it they said they'd call back and talk to the driver. He flat out lied and said he gave it to me. He was "pretty sure I handed it to you"....well you didn't. And now you called me a liar about it. I do recommend the food but only for pick up. We waited forever for our food tonight and then when we got home (a good 30 minutes away), one of the meals was left out of the bag. We called, and after being on hold twice, were told they could not refund the cost to our card. The best they could do was agree to save our information and credit us the one meal on our next visit. After having my order rung up and paying with a card the cashier refused to ring up a coke (which I had forgotten to order) because she would have to ring it alone thru the system...she said I could only purchase a drink if I paid in cash. Well, ok then.....I managed to dig cash out of my purse and was able to purchase said coke. The tension between coworkers was so thick you could cut it with a knife! Simply put, this is Americanized 'Fast Food' Chinese. Not horrible food for fast lunch delivery but not great if you are expecting anything remotely authentic. MSG flush & headache included at no charge. AND will someone show them how to update a website. I was expecting a $12 bill..... it was over $20. When we called the number listed they gave me another number for a different location closer to us for delivery. After talking to the right person and ordering food listed on their website, we were given a higher total than expected. When I asked he told me their website had not been updated with the more recent prices. Hmmm, how hard is it to update a website with only one page? Food got to us faster than quoted, big portions, the rice noodles and cheese wontons were quite good (although the filling inside the wontons looked to be less than a teaspoon, while the fried wonton itself was huge) General Tao's and orange chicken both had good flavor, but there was more fried coating than actual meat. It filled us up and tasted good for delivery. Might try some other options on the menu. Would like it more if the prices were the same as on their website! I have ordered to go a few times at this location. Let me be clear to everyone about this: THIS IS NOT REAL CHINESE food. I don't even think you could classify this as Asian food either. I think the only reason Little Panda is "popular" is because of they offer cheap food. It's like fast-food. Actually, that would be complimenting them because even fast-food chains like Panda Express are better than this place. I do not know if they just hire anyone who apply, but they lack customer service skills. They barely look at you when you get in, they don't even greet you. They are just in the business for the money. Whoever owns this restaurant, I say to you: "Get new employees". It is quite annoying to be standing there and they don't even acknowledge your presence. Lastly, I don't know how they pass health inspection. I'm going to stop going here because every time I'm there, it's dirty. There's stuff on the floor, you can see the kitchen and it is dirty. Simply put, do not go here. You'll only give them more reason to keep running the business. And I don't think these people know how to run a business. I've been a few times and the Chicken Fried Rice is a solid choice. It's consistently pretty decent. The Lo-Mein was pretty bad; I didn't even finish eating it. The Steamed Dumplings weren't that good either. But like I said, I'd give the Chicken Fried Rice a solid 3/5. read more

Called in an order to go, very nice and quick over te phone (looked up the menu on the website). Was ready in about 12 minutes. Very large kitchen with lots going on. The front gal was helpful and sweet. I just ordered veggie egg roll, veggie Lo mein, and veggie fried rice. Packaged in very nice to go boxes, could probably be reused (a sturdy plastic) had a good selection of sauces in my bag, PLENTY of food, and 3 fortune cookies. They took very good care of me! I didn't have huge expectations when I stopped in here yesterday. I've seen it as we drove by this little strip mall when coming home from Market street. I like living in Abilene, but one of the things we've noticed is that the food here is never really seasoned- not even salt and pepper, so when we eat out I've gotten used to adding my own spice. Since I'm not feeling too well right now I wanted wonton soup. Back home that's what you eat when you're sick. I ordered two lunch specials- general tso's chicken and char siu (lol it's called roast pork here) with veggies, and the mongolian beef which I asked to be extra spicy. The specials came with little cups of won ton soup. At first taste the soup was a little bland. Added garlic salt and shoyu and it was perfect! The char siu with veggies was surprisingly tasty! I didn't have to do anything to it and enjoyed it very much. My husband thought the chicken was too crispy (he was wrong, but he can't always be perfect) so I let it sit on the counter for a bit and allowed the sauce to soak into it more and when he got into it later he said he enjoyed it more. The mongolian beef was good, hardly spicy let along extra spicy, but we just added our own siracha and was good to go. I think the only thing I would change is that they serve calrose rice instead of whatever kind of rice (basmati?) they have everywhere here in the mainland. I've told my friends back home that finding good food out here has been kind of hard for me. But I think this will become my go to Chinese food spot. In my opinion, it was WAY better than Szechuan out in downtown Abilene. read more

We called Little Panda at their other location for a delivery and were told to call this location. We have had the other locations fare before and it was good. So we thought DESPITE the reviews, we would give this place a whirl. We called and gave our address and were told to call the other farther away location. We explained the situation and asked where their delivery cut off was. They are 2 miles from us, the other, better place is almost 6 miles away. The manager stated their delivery cut off was our road! SO....What's the problem? Laziness? I don't know. We were willing to take a chance and try them out, but the rudeness of the manager killed it for them. Instead of talking nicely and explaining the reason, he cut my husband off and was very rude! This place is the most ill-run and dirty restaurant I've been to in a long time. Take a look an the unsanitary conditions around the cooking station. For instance, I saw a pile of chicken 2 feet high on the counter rapidly coming up to room temperature. Dining room is unclean to be charitable... Sometime later I decided to give it one more chance, since it is only a few block from home. Same dirty, unsanitary place It was an hour before closing. I ordered food to go... and the counter person said nothing about the delay I should expect. I waited 20 minutes for a my order... until I noticed somebody hosing down the kitchen. I went back to the counter, and the employee told me... "He's about to start on your order in a few minutes." Huh. They shut everything down an hour before closing while still taking orders. Assume they were cleaning then to keep their labor costs down. Got my money back and left to go find someplace clean that was still open. Lesson learned. read more

alright.... if your expecting top notch authentic Chinese food you've come to the wrong place. If you want cheap Americanize Chinese food then your going to enjoy the food here.. Ordered orange chicken, kung pao chicken, beef with broccoli, and egg drop soup. The orange chicken was coat with a red sauce which was OK was expected more of a orange sauce with the orange's core cooked with it. kung pao chicken had celery, carrots, and water chestnuts cooked in a brown sauce. Pretty typical with these Americanized Chinese places a few pieces of chicken and tons of everything else also the kung pao chicken was cooked in a brown sauce which was different it needed to be hotter and more flavor, lack taste. I wish they could of cooked it with peppers or something. Beef and broccoli was very good probably the best dish I had tonight. The dish was put together with some love. The egg drop soup was OK needs a ton of more flavor they must of just used water and not chicken broth also needs something else either green onions/ shiitake mushrooms or maybe even corn I know what your thinking but it puts a yummy touch to it. I don't know if I'll order from here again but for now I'll stick to what i know. Bottom line I don't know if I blame them I mean its Abilene. As for atmosphere kind of small don't think I would sit down and eat there with the entire family but their are tables that you can sit at. The staff seem pretty chill almost the type you would see at a freebirds. Asian are cooking the food.
