It is a cute little salon, and the room if outfitted for kids. I was nervous about how my toddler would sit in a chair for a while without wiggling but she did great with the toys that were provided. For your first haircut, you get to keep some hair (if you would like) and then get a cute certificate. It is perfect if you are scrapbooking or keeping memories for your kids. There is free parking in the back of the building. just go to the gate on thee right hand side (if you are looking at the building). There is a suite number parking space reserved for it. read more

We were grateful to be squeezed in on a Friday afternoon for 2 boys' cuts. I showed a picture of the cut we wanted. It's an old school straight bang cut. Abigail suggested layering to give the back of the head more shape. It didn't work out so well. Her technique made it look uneven, not blended. Then hair was cut too short, so it sticks up a bit on one side. If you know Asian hair you watch out for that. Once it's too short you can't fix that. After I saw how it looked I skipped the layering on boy 2. That worked out better. No layering meant no cutting the hair too short. But, both boys were cut with uneven bangs and I had to check and point out where it needed adjustments. It was pretty obvious. Overall not happy about being charged $35 each for the cut. I haven't lost faith in kids' salons, but I'm still on the search for our regular spot. May be just go back to Super Cuts. read more

OMG. Abby is soooo sweet and was pamazing with my son for his first hair cut. She did such a good job and her energy kept him calm and happy the entire time she cut his hair. His hair came out soooo cute. Theres an array of toys for your littles to play with and the room is bright, colorful and inviting. I definitely recommend this Hair Salon especially for your Toddler/child. My toddler's past two experiences at another salon was horrific he would get hysterical and we had to end up pinning him down which was hard to do emotionally. I booked an appointment here at Little Kuts (which was very easy and online) with Mrs Anna and she was just wonderful and very patient with my LO. she starts by gaining their trust and interacting with then and I just love their kids section its so attracting for the kids (at least mine was) the experience he had there was very pleasant and the hair cut she did was perfect. We tried a few kids barber spot, but little kuts is definitely our favorite experience. Anna is very professional in every steps of the way. She was able to navigate thru all the challenges that cutting a toddlers hair brings. But mainly Anna is able to produce a result that is beyond my expectation. This salon is SO perfect and wonderful for kiddos! We called early in the morning and she was able to squeeze us in same day. The owner was incredible with our son. She is so kind and made our 18 month old feel so comfortable, considering it was his first hair cut! She even had a little bag to keep a couple of his locks, a certificate to remember the date, and a free comb he got to pick which color he wanted. Since he is only 18 months old, she had a little booster seat to keep him contained and comfortable. She has lots of wonderful toys for all ages to keep the kids distracted and interested. She did exactly what we asked and the cut turned out amazing! The hardest part of the cut was him saying goodbye to all the fun toys and leaving! They were definitely booked up during the last week so I gave up trying to book before school opened and just went with first available. Great to know that they are busy as one would wish for small businesses to be. Finding the place and parking were both easy. We booked with Anna and everything I read about her was absolutely true- she is so good with kids but more importantly, she knew how to cut their hair. Unlike most places we have tried, the cut is always the same, regardless of the hair type- always blunt, ending up like a bowl cut- very cookie cutter. She did a great job helping to walk us through getting him calm enough to be able to get the cut. Came here to get my 3 year old son's haircut. We've been to different salons and it's been the same experience. He ends up crying and screaming and we cut just enough hair so it's out of his eyes. We took our baby here for his first haircut. We were a little worried considering he doesn't generally like people touching his head or wearing hats or anything of the sort, in addition to that, he was a little cranky on the car ride there so we had expected him to give the stylist a hard time. We called ahead to inform that we were running about 5 minutes late, they were very understanding and still saw us. Anna Marie is amazing. I never would have thought my baby would be so happy and comfortable during this experience. She really knew how to cater to his needs. Our baby is 21 months old and we were so nervous for his first haircut. Our baby's curly hair is so precious and we did not want it to be ruined. Anna Marie sat outside with us and explained the whole process. She really took the time to listen to how we wanted his hair cut. During the cut she explained the process to step by step and talked him through everything. You can tell the care and warmth she has with little ones. This led to a tear free experience. FYI; The booking portal you use to book appointments, stated it will send a confirmation text/email upon booking, and that it will take a few minutes. I booked the appointment last night, but did not get any confirmation either through text or email, including junk folders. Figured I'd get it this morning due to the time I booked last night. Anyways, nothing again this morning, so I assumed it's not confirmed and went with another business instead. I get a text at 12pm reminding me I have an appointment at 1pm. Uhhh, it was never confirmed in the first place so I decided to call, but nobody answered the phone. Again, assuming it was system error, and went about my day. While my son is getting his haircut at another business, I get a voicemail from Abby (who I originally booked with) asking if we're still coming at around 1:15pm. Took our 9 month old here for his first haircut! Best decision ever! I was initially a little hesitate - $35 for a baby haircut sounded a bit pricy - but honestly you can't replicate the experience at home or any plain old barber shop. We had Abigail and she was perfect with our little one. She did Tell, Show, Do from start to finish. Zero whines, zero tears. Our 9 month old sat through the entire cut without any hiccups. Took my son (3 y/o) there for the first time to see Anna Marie. This was our 4th attempt at getting his haircut; we went to multiple places to find the right fit as he has autism and is distressed around any buzzing noises & anything or anyone attempting to touch his hair. With Anna Marie's guidance Dad and I were able to keep our son's feelings at bay & successfully got his hair cut. Her chair is set up in a separate room to allow for a more calmer space filled with many toys/fidgets to allow for him to remain preoccupied with play rather than with her scissors. When we were kids, my 5 brothers and I got dragged into the local barber called Lorne's. While smoking a Benson & Hedges, the barber would give all of us the same 1980s haircut, and wouldn't apologize for cutting you if you moved while he was working quickly with rusty clippers and a straight razor to clean up your neck. He'd then give my parents the "cheaper by the half-dozen" discount, and off we went for a few months until we repeated the process. We've been taking our three (9, 5, & 3) to Little Cuts for a while, and they've always done a nice job. Continuous loop kids movies on the TV, some novelty hair cut seats like carousel animals keep the youngest occupied. The gals who work there are always exceedingly patient and caring, without sacrificing safety. They are kind to the kids, yet firm communication the expectations for look up, look down, hold still, etc... then Affirm and positively reinforce with "atta' boy" and "nice job, honey." If they were teachers, I'd interview them for positions on general principle, because they are GREAT with kids. Haircut styles come out fresh and clean-- no tears and no gimmicks. The price is a couple of bucks more than Lorne's charged in 1986, but really-- not much more. Kid's haircut is $21... reasonable in my book. As mentioned in other reviews, make an appointment and arrive on time. They will take great care of you. We're customers until our kids get too big and think they're too cool for it. ... then we'll film them and save the videos for their prom dates. Parents win. read more

Anna Marie is a god send. We had successfully cut our toddler's hair in the past, but this time he was not having it. We had done the back, but he wouldn't let us finish. Anna Marie to the rescue. I was really afraid he was going to throw a fit with her, but she engaged him so well when he arrived. Just talking to him and showing him her tools. He is usually a chatterbox, but can get quiet with new people. She had him talking within minutes. She had some toy trains too which really engaged him. He didn't cry or fuss at all. I will definitely be taking him back and would highly recommend her. I took the advice from another review and texted. She responded very quickly.
