Little Munchkins is the best kids' salon we've been to in Glendale. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great for children, and the service is always excellent. A special shoutout to Stella--she is incredibly professional, patient, and talented. She always does an amazing job and makes kids feel comfortable throughout the haircut. Highly recommended! read more

First time trying this location and I don't regret it. My son DISLIKES haircuts and I was in a hunt for a location that made him comfortable. Well this place delivered! From the moment you walk, it is the most appealing for a child. He chose his car for the haircut, they handed him a menu to choose what he wanted to watch, and he was calm. Stella was GREAT! She is not your typical hair stylist. She is calm but has power. She made him so comfortable and she won a client for many years with us. Thank you! read more

I'm very disappointed with the haircut experience my child had yesterday. Unfortunately, the service was not what I expected, especially when it comes to getting a haircut for a child. The haircut was not done carefully, and the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. I expected more patience, attention to detail, and professionalism. I left feeling very unhappy with the result and the way the experience was handled. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to decide that I will not be returning. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the experience for children and their parents. read more

Amazing service! I have been coming here specifically for Stella for the past 3 years. She is always so good with my boys, does an amazing job with their haircut. Any picture i have shown her she has delivered. Overall I would highly recommend it here for haircuts and specifically with Stella!!! read more

We've never gone anywhere else because we love this place so much. All the ladies are great, but we are a little partial to Stella, who cut my boys hair for the first time and is a total master at her craft. She's quick, excellent, and lovingly dealt with my baby when he cried for the first time. It's always clean, and I've always been accommodated by their super kind receptionist. read more

I've always considered this place a last resort for my son's haircuts because I never felt they did a good job making children feel comfortable. Most of our visits have felt somewhat awkward, and the staff has often come across as dry toward both me and my child. Unfortunately, our most recent visit will definitely be our last. The stylist was very rough with my son while cutting his hair, and he was clearly trying hard to hold it together. At one point, she leaned over and made fun of him, asking if he was going to cry. I didn't fully register it at the time because I was also trying to give attention to my other child, but as soon as we got in the car, my son confirmed it without me even asking. I was extremely upset and called the front desk, but I was basically brushed off. That response alone confirmed that we won't be returning. read more

This was my son's very first haircut, and Annita did an amazing job. She was so kind and patient, making him feel comfortable the entire time. My son wasn't stressed at all and was actually happy during his haircut. Annita listened to what we wanted, gave great suggestions, and styled his hair perfectly. I also loved how colorful the place is...the whole setup is so fun and welcoming for kids. We're very happy with the results and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

I take my Twin boys here and I love the friendly environment even though my kids may scream through the hair cut..we love Arliene

We got my son's first hair cut here with Stella she was so sweet and patient. However when we went back for his second hair cut she was so rude and gave him a horrible cut. I was honestly shocked, she practically kicked my son off the seat when she finished. Im not sure if she was having a bad morning (we were her first appointment) but from the moment she walked in it didnt feel like the first time. I asked her if we can do it shorter than his first cut because his hair grew fast and he has thick hair and she said ok. However when she was about to finish I notice it was still longer so I asked her if she can please make it short on the sides and she was immediately irratated and left it so bad. I had to take him to another barber to try and fix his hair but it was so messed up we had to cut it all off, which was heartbreaking. Sad to say we wont be visiting this place again ,it had potential but our experience the second time around was just horrible. read more

My kids went there for their first haircuts. All the stylists are lovely and very patient! Reservation is a breeze and service is quick!

This review is solely based on our visit with Stella! We have seen the reviews and how people were happy with her, so we decided to visit her and trusted our toddlers' haircuts with her. It was our inexperience visit since it was our first time giving our sons a hair cut . She was approachable and did a fairly decent job or at least that's we tought. We were so happy with her work, considering that our sons were calm with her and didn't cry so we decided to go to Stella again based on our first experience and this is where it was when we realized not only she is a bad hair dresser but also very rude as a person. We felt like she was the customer and we were the service provider and she was doing us a favor. She cut the first son's hair and quickly rushed to do the other one without cleaning the first one or removing the hair from him. When she was done with cutting the second sons hair, I asked a question on whether the length of the bangs were normal or was it supposed to look crooked, she got so upset that she butchered his hair and then quickly jumped to butcher the first ones hair too. After she was done with that, she handed me the brush so I can clean my sons and clean the hair from everywhere she rushed us to remove the boys from the chair and mentioned that she is not liking the hair cut, Now we have two toddlers with butchered hair and we paid $90 for this terrible service. Very very disappointed read more

I love this spot. They have multiple car chairs to choose from. They also let you pick a movie or show for your child to watch while getting a haircut. It was my daughter's first haircut and they provided a certificate along with the hair that was cut first. Olga helped us and she was super nice and sweet. Very gentle and made my daughter feel comfortable. read more

This is our go to place for kids haircut. Excellent service and staff. First of all the cleanliness attracted us, for a place servicing kids the hygiene is very important. Stella welcomed us with a big smile and listened carefully to what style we wanted for our son. The best part is they have beautiful cars for kids to sit on and watch their favorite shows :) definitely recommended! read more

Since our first visit for my son's haircut, everyone here has been incredibly kind, patient, friendly, and professional. Even though my son has a sensitivity issue with being tickled behind his neck, Maryam somehow manages to give him the exact haircut we request. Every single stylist deserves an award for their ability to handle kids who may lack patience or are sensitive to noise--they truly get the job done. Thank you to everyone at Little Munchkin! And I must mention, the convenience of scheduling appointments online is another huge advantage for this business. read more

My son is the pickiest when it comes to someone cutting his hair. We've been to countless salons - in all ranges of price, and just couldn't find the perfect fit... until we met Stella at Little Munchkins. She knew exactly how to make my son feel comfortable. He has so many cowlicks (lol) so we opt for a modernized bowl cut. She just does it so well. Been seeing her for 2+ years now and no plans on going elsewhere! read more

Hair cut was fine and the place is cute, but if you're going to work with Children, the FIRST thing you should do is look at a child say hello. Make sure he's comfortable with you before you put him in a chair and start cutting his hair. My baby was crying and really did not like the woman cutting his hair. He doesn't care about screens or sitting in a car chair, he does want to be acknowledged and said hello to. Even at 15 months he's very smart, please don't work with kids if you can't say hi first and introduce yourself to a kid!! read more

I have been taking my son here since he was 2yo and we have always had an excellent experience! I took him here for their "First Haircut" service and the beautician was so kind and gentle. They were great with my two kiddos. Fast and great cuts and very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

There are not enough good things I could possibly say about Little Munchkins. I usually go to the Glendale location and they are just absolutely amazing. The place is super clean (including restroom). The appointments actually mean something here. They all start on time. You might wait a minute or two for them to clean the area, which they do thoroughly so that no one gets disgusted of the previous person's hair. My all time favorite is Maryam. She is sooooo good! So professional! So respectful with your child. I absolutely adore this place! My son is almost 11 and I still bring him here. Thank you for being the best!! read more

A review long overdue! I started taking my son here when he was 4 years old... and we literally in one day tried 3 different kid salons.. all of which my little one, who is very high functioning ASD (now you would never now). Immediately he felt safe here. I was absolutely on pins and needles, terrified for that ASD meltdown (if you know.. you know). But there was none. Not only do they check to make sure they truly understand what you want (and your child) but they are so gentle! We always have been lucky to have Stella, but oh my they are all so sweet and gentle and kind. I cannot rave enough about this salon for my son. They are so amazing that he even gets excited to be here and always.. always walks out feeling like the coolest kid in the world. we love you Stella and everyone at little munchkins! read more
