I was so worried to cut my long damaged hair , Alina provided great consultation and assured me that she would keep the length long enough just to get rid of the damaged ends . I've visited other salons and the stylists are chatty with other stylists and other customers and it's complete chaos . I really appreciate the small studio set up and the inmate setting where I was able to discuss what I should do with my color and hair and she was able to offer great advise and focus on my head rather than distractions. UPDATE AFTER COMMENT FROM SALON: Thank you for replying, however, this is also not the way to treat a complaint from a customer. You do not comment these comments on their reviews, defending yourself and claiming to have done your part correctly. You can do whatever you want with I am saying, it's your business, but I'm just trying to give you some feedback from a customers perspective. Try instead apologizing for a customers experience and encourage them to call back or email so that you can fix the situation privately. Answering with false information also just makes me even more reluctant to the business... I did not hang up before you could explain more, we even had an awkward silence where I was waiting for you to say anything else before I gave up on the whole thing. And even so, when I said that I think I will find another salon, answering with a "okay, bye" type of reply does not exactly give me the impression that you had anything else you wanted to tell me. You had many chances to say more, but instead talked very shorty and unenthusiastically to me throughout the whole conversation. ------ I did not get an appointment with this salon because it is a long time since I have heard someone so unenthusiastic and unprofessional over the phone... From the get go I honestly wanted to just hang up the phone. Disappointing because of all the good reviews. I asked for an exact price for getting a trim and I don't have a problem with someone having difficulties with giving me this. However, having worked in jobs with customer service myself, I know that there is a certain way that you talk to customers no matter what the situation may be, and no matter if you have an answer or not to what they are asking you. She was completely uninterested in giving me anything I could go off of and seemed like she could not care less if I booked an appointment with her or not.
