I needed to get a quick haircut for work and did not have much time. New Image cuts accepts all walk ins without issue. Look at my photo see how many people are cutting hair. New Image cuts is always busy and the wait is never long. Every chair station had someone in it. They are fully diversified. From kids, men and women getting highlights. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It took about 20 minutes and the cost is very fair. I highly recommend New Image Cuts for your next hair cutting appointment. read more

A friend recommended this place, I walked in around 3:30 pm today, and I was done in just 10 minutes! Super quick and very affordable $20 for haircuts. They do men and women. Rebecca cut my hair, she was nice and professional. This place is much cheaper than any other place you could find in the area. I liked their salon it's pretty big. Highly recommended! You must go in with your hair washed as they do not do that for you, they only spray your hair down with water, so you're basically paying for the cut only (also no blow out). read more

I had a really bad experience with the hair stylist in blue. My Niece wanted layers and she rudely told her,"Why do you want layers? Just get one length". The hair stylist was upset that my nieces choice was going to take long because there were other customers waiting. She also rudely told me,"you should have come back later when there are more stylists ". DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TREATED POORLY. read more

i actually got the worst haircut of my entire life here... and when i was in middle school i let a friend cut my hair- had to wear a hat for 4 months since i couldn't afford a hair dresser. don't know her name but she currently has bright green nails. middle aged woman, medium build and long hair with tattoos... avoid her. tried this place because a coworker recommended it. had to get another haircut the next morning because the one i got was so bad I couldn't go into work liking like that. seriously looked like i cut it myself, extremely blunt edges like a kid cut it... also i know it's a cheap haircut but the stylist sprayed my hair with a bunch of water and didn't even dry it... i've had haircuts priced the same amount where they at least do that... read more

I have been going to this place for over 10 years and never been disappointed. they do an amazing job , I even had people stop me at the store and asked who cut or colored my hair . And the staff is great , customer service is amazing. Lida who is the owner is just a sweetheart. Always goes above and beyond to make sure all their customers are happy . love this place read more

Love this place. I normally wear protective styles (braids, crochet, weave, etc) but the stylist is never able to cut the hair into the shape. I want. So after getting a new install, I come here to let Gohar work her magic. I just show her a picture, and she makes it happen. I HIGHLY recommend her for any alternative/future forward haircut shapes. read more

Lida was sooooo accommodating and welcoming. The haircut was just the right price. Will definitely be back.

This is my third review. My wife and I originally found this salon for my 95 year old (at the time) mom. She was always well-treated, and received complements on her cut. My mom has since passed on at age 100, but my wife and I are still customers of Karmin. Her cuts are consistently fine, so there's no reason to change. It's always nice to see Lida , the proprietor, at the desk. She never fails to make her clients feel welcome. read more

I've had my hair cut here around 10 to 12 times. Half the time, the haircut is uneven, the stylist does not listen to (or remember) how I want my hair cut. This is definitely a place to where you get what you pay for. This is definitely a place you don't want to go to before a special event either. This place is decent if you're in a pinch. read more

This is my new favorite place in Glendale to get a haircut. I love how you don't need an appointment, and they take walk ins until 7pm. Carmella and Lida are fantastic!!! read more

This place is mostly good. Great prices. (They only take cash). No appointment necessary. And the staff are usually very friendly. They say things like "thank you for coming", "Thank you for your business", etc. Which is nice to hear. But once in a while some of them can be a little snippy with their communication. They usually do a very good job on my hair. But I think when my hair doesn't come out the way I requested it's because of the language barrier. The staff almost all have accents, some stronger than others, and sometimes don't seem to grasp what you are saying, because English is not their first language. So if you want a specific style, I would bring a photo rather than try to explain it. There is a big Armenian flag on the wall. Which is fine. But no American flag in sight. Which kind of bothers me a bit. This is America after all. And they are all employed in America. read more

Worst experience ever!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to get my hair colored. I showed them the picture I wanted, silver/grey. The first look they gave me was their version on "grey" which looked like an old woman with purple hair. They said it was my request. So they showed me the color chart which was purple. Then they decided to make it lighter, which is the picture I attached. The lady said, " I don't know why it's looking like that cause we have done many men's hair and it came out different". That's BS. They told me to wash it and it would get lighter, and to come back in 2 weeks to bleach it. Hell No!!! Time wasted and I look like grape ape. AND I didn't pay for it. read more

Good place for a decent hair cut. If you are looking for something simple and straightforward I would recommend this place. If you need something fancy or need a fade or something then you are better off somewhere else. The people who work here are super nice and do a good job. They are polite and welcoming. The place is clean, parking gets a bit challenging during lunch hours. You are required to wear a mask due to the new mandate. Most folks who come in here are regulars. read more

I've been going to New Image Cut for 12 years. I used to bring my son in for haircuts and then I thought I would try them myself. I've never gone anywhere else. I've had my hair cut, blown dry and highlighted for years. You don't need an appointment and ALL of the stylists do an AMAZING job. I've had my hair done by Susie, Carmen, Hovar, Lita, Angela, Carmela and Rebecca. Each one is awesome. read more

I came in for a trim, and the stylist ended up shaving my head. I asked the stylist zero on the sides of my head, and a trim on top of my head. She shaved my head without warning. Yeah, I'm not coming back read more

My aunt has been coming here for over 10 years. She called to see if they can squeeze us in for a hair blowout and within a few minutes I was already in the chair ready for my hair to be done. The lady, Carmen or Cathy?... Very sweet lady was able to transform my hair into a healthy look. The process took about 45 minutes to an hour of shampooing, trimming, and adding some essential remedies to make the ends of my hair look and feel natural. This was such a pleasant experience that I was so relaxed that they had to wake me cause I was asleep in the chair. Haha. read more

I got an excellent and fast cut with Gohar. She knew right away what would look good on my face shape and my age. I'll be back!

Let me start off by saying $8 haircuts... Now I know what you're thinking, "WTF? $8? Who cuts my hair, a blind stylist? A one armed barber?" The answer is... kinda... Just kidding. I love mom & pop stores, especially this one. I have been coming to this place for almost 12 years and it is safe to say that out of the 12 years... the price of haircuts have only risen $2. If you're a male, this place is a great haircut place to go... Make sure to ask for "Hilda." She's such a sweet, talented stylist that takes her time with every single person she sees. As for women... you're F'd because I have no clue who you would need to see. However, there are usually more women than men in this joint, so they must be doing something right. I know they cut, style, die, thread, pluck, shave, and do whatever you like as long as you ask. Why 5 Stars? - Great customer service - Talented stylist (for men at least) - Cheap - Friendly staff - Great background music (from classical music to progressive house) Some minor Improvements needed? - Update on the decor - Owner needs to stop complaining in Armenian to her stylists (I think she's complaining). read more

Based on my mothers' experience... My mom is a low maintenance sort of women and would never dare spend nearly as much as I do when I go to the salon, she wanted to go to super cuts and I was try something different.. so I found this place on Yelp. I wasn't sure if it was a men's only haircut place or for everyone so we drove past and there was ladies getting a trim so in she went, they lightly damped her hair, she got a layered trim , no blow dry or style and was out in less then 10 minutes for my mom that's worth the price of $8.00 Everyone was very nice and polite, it's straight haircuts, no products for sale, no thrills, just a cut and a smile. read more

Really, it's only $9 for a haircut?! Yah, this place is a really no frills. I don't even know if they take appointments. LOL But they must be good, or just really cheap, because this place is always busy. So, what is it? It's good and cheap. LOL There are 2 lines of chairs with Armenian women cutting hair. Well, I believe most of them are, if not all. The woman running the place will ask you what kind of cut do you want when you walk in. Apparently some women are better than others when it comes to different styles. I wanted layers. So, there were only certain woman who could do it. I've been here several times (when hair cuts were $8) and I get what I want - layers and side swept bangs. No complaints. Tell the woman specifically what you want. Then they wet your hair with a spray bottle and cut away. They will blow dry your hair slightly to blow away the cut hair but not style it. That's all extra. I'm ok with that because that's obviously how the costs stay down. It's located in a small plaza and if you can't find parking there is street parking. I don't know if they accept credit cards because I have always paid in cash. I feel bad that I never catch a name from the women who have cut my hair but I haven't been disappointed yet. LOL read more

Awesome, you can't go wrong getting your hair cut here, staff friendly, environment clean
