You are always welcomed by a friendly face. Ofik, the owner, is the only person who cuts my hair. 4 or 3 on top and a 1 on the sides. My young sons, 10, 8 and 5 also love her. I have never left without a nice even haircut and a smile. Clean, fun environment. read more

Jaklin has been my stylist for many years. She's amazing and I can't compare her skills with anyone else. She does it all... cut, style, updos and more! I call her the hair magician :) Everyone is great here. Friendly, attentive and skillful! I'll be seeing Jaklin again soon, she's the best! read more

For the past week I've need a haircut. Today I looked around for some places and found California Cut and Style. When I walked they asked if I had an appointment or called in, in advance ( calling in advance is recommend). I said no but they took me anyway. The barber did a really good job. He took his time and did the style I asked for. The price of the haircut is also extremely reasonable at $15 for a basic regular cut. I really recommend this barber shop and I will be returning for my next haircut. read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years, I've never left unhappy. The service and quality you get from any of the staff, is more than well-worth the very affordable price. They always listen carefully and understand what you want, and they've made plenty of creative suggestions that I've been delighted with. I feel like I should be paying $100 or more! My go-to guy is Garo, but if he's busy, I'm never hesitant to use anyone else there. They're all very professional, skilled, and very friendly. If you're looking for a great, affordable, quaint place to get a haircut, do give these guys try, you'll probably end up being a regular like me. Shat Merci, California Cut & Style!! $=-) read more

I don't mind barbers and the like telling me their opinions about what kind of cut would look good on me. However, when that happens, I would prefer it if they knew what they were talking about. My dad and I went here on separate days but we both had problems. My dad got a haircut here one day and when he got home he realized that one side was shorter than the other. He went back two days later and asked them if they could fix it. The lady there said that his hair really was uneven and she asked who cut it. My dad told her that SHE was the one who cut his hair and she said that it couldn't have been. She asked what day it was and where he sat. He said it was two days ago and he sat in the same chair. She realized that it really was cut by her after all and she fixed her error. For me, I went in and I told them how I wanted my hair done. However, the lady giving me my haircut said that she thinks it would be better if it was shorter on the top. I said that I wasn't too sure about it and i would prefer it longer. She insisted that, "for you, you look better with your hair like this," and proceeded to chop off my hair. When she was done she seemed so proud of her work as I looked in awe of all my missing length. I will surely venture elsewhere for my next haircut. read more

Having to venture out on my own & away from my aunts beauty salon (where I've been going for for 10 years) I stumbled along California Cuts. Wow, these are real stylist at a fraction of what you would in Beverly Hills or Pasadena. The all Armenian stylists are the best when giving tips on what looks good on you, the latest styles & trends, and they sell top of the line SALON shampoos and merchandise at a fraction of the price. Sometimes, the wait is long... but with a Red Ribbon next door-who's complaining? Waxing & threading is their specialty... for the brave of heart! read more

I used to get my hair done - styled, cut, colored, whatever - here back in high school, before I was really fussy over who does my hair and how (as in, please don't do anything other than I ask for)... Nowadays we (fiance & I) just come here when we need some eyebrow waxing in a quick hurry. A few weeks ago was such an instance. His eyebrows came out ridiculously shaped - actually, better shaped than mine. And my, just a clean-up ended up ruining the shape I'd spent a whole year creating for my wedding (now we have three months to fill in these blanks). But, sometimes they don't do such a goof, so overall, I guess three stars. Definitely not worth more than that. And after last time's visit, not sure we'll be here again. read more

Worst haircut place in glendale. They cut your hair like whatever and thats it. They dont fix it. The girl who cut my hair even left a wound on my left ear. I dont know why it happened. Thinking of suing them. Smh. It shouldnt happen if you are professional. Maybe shes lazy or in a hurry. Nightmare haircut experience here. Won't come back here. This place sucks! read more

I used to go to this salon way back in high school to get my haircut and highlights with Ofik. She was a really nice lady. And always remembered me when I come in. It was decent and affordable. Over the years I've dropped in for quick trims when I was in the area. The last time I was here was 2 years ago for my daughter's haircut. She did such a cute shoulder length cut on her with side bangs. I wanted to take her back again but when I called a few months ago, I found out Ofik's not there anymore. read more

I've been going here for over 10 years now and I feel like they're my family now. I never had a bad experience there. They're very reasonable on their prices and they have such a great customer service. Honestly if I don't go there for a month I'll have 2 stop by there for a quick hi.. They're awesome. U want a great up-do with reasonable price?? See Jackie for that! Awesome place.. read more

All the ladies that work at California Cuts in Glendale are all professionals and are all very nice. Jackie, Shanna and Rita are the best. They are also fun and very patience. I highly recommend any of the ladies I mentioned. I will be their client for a long time. read more

Great customer service and reasonable prices. Went in on a Wednesday around 11am and there was no wait. The lady asked me how I wanted my hair cut and got it just right. read more

When I lived in Glendale this was my go to spot to get me haircut. All of ths stylists were excellent and consistent. Other places I would go and once in a while the stylist would give a less than acceptable cut, at California Cuts I always left happy and satisfied. The best indication of quality work was when I got home and my wife would give her seal of approval. read more

Top notch service. I got my hair cut, highlighted and styled. They did an amazing job. Service is very affordable, great quality and speedy service. read more

They are the worst. I went in and asked for a rich multifaceted chocolate brown hair color, and they dyed it monotone black. Very unprofessional. They told me to wash it a few time and it would fade. It has been two months and it is still black. I am so furious, because it will damage my hair to fade it. I will never go there again. read more

This was the first salon i went too, to get my hair colored. And i was told they did a horrible job by two other salons, they left bleach spots in my hair and my hair was damaged because of this salon. I would NOT recommend it. I paid a lot of money just so they can F*$@ up my hair. read more

This is a long over due review. I have been going to this salon since I was 13 years old. I haven't had one bad experience. My hair dresser Jackie is the best! She is amazing at everything and anything you want done. It is a reasonable price for amazing work. I trust her with my hair she knows what is good and not good when it comes to hair dye. She will always give the best advice on whatever you want so that your hair is not damaged. Thank you Jackie Jan I always leave the salon with my expectations exceeded with your amazing work. read more

Bad customer service. Called to make an appt and the receptionist was very rude. Definitely not where I would want to go.
