I came in for haircuts for myself and my son. There was no one waiting when we arrived, but we were still told to wait. Several people who came in after us were taken ahead of us. Eventually, my son got his haircut, but it was rushed and not done well at all. When it was finally supposed to be my turn, I was told they didn't have time for me because others had appointments -- even though those people arrived much later and seemed to be regulars. It was clear that regular customers were being prioritized over new ones. All three barbers said they were too busy for me, yet they kept taking in people who came long after us. This place is another example of you get what you pay for. I came for a beard trim and shave and the barber used electric shavers and trimmers, and ground painfully into my neck. This is the second time I got razor burn from this place. This time though the barber no only decided to trim his own beard with the same tool he was using on me, he inflated the price for the service price beyond the posted price, from $20 to $25, and refused to reply when I asked why he didn't offer me the posted price. This place is unsanitary, unethical and I will never come here again. I suggest you do the same. read more

Was interesting to see 이발 (Korean, haircut) at the front of this Armenian barbershop, so Shaheen told me the plaza used to have Korean businesses, so he had it up on his original sign (mentor-status). CASH ONLY!!!!!! okay so I was able to put an appointment through yelp with is both useful & convenient, you can also show them a pick of what you want done. My sons new hair person was out of town & he needed to be fresh looking for his 5th Birthday. We had a scheduled appointment at 10:30 with Shaheen. It was a simple clean fade with a trim on the top, my son is into bangs right now so it's been important that I get that across. The barber took his time with my son & it was exactly how we both wanted, the only thing I didn't like was when I realized it was cash only , I needed to go to the nearest atm & I was followed to make sure I wasn't gonna service & dash. I've gone here a couple times because they usually do a good job with the haircut, but never again. This is the dirtiest place I've ever seen. Hair everywhere, the tools are dirty all over, all the tools are so covered in hair from past customers that it's unclear who the manufacturer is. I called and made an appointment, I knew it was a barbershop. Just because he had long hair they assumed he was a girl and denied service. To me that's pretty sexist and stupid. Won't ever come back. I personally come to this barber shop and ask for Shaheen exclusively. I've had great haircuts since the very first haircut, so why change something that is consistently working?! I'm 100% the other barbers in the shop are just as good. Shaheen provides his business card and asks you to make an appointment directly with him (text or call). He responds very quickly and has always been able to accommodate my haircut needs into his busy schedule. The main reason why I find myself coming back to this barbershop is the way he cuts hair. When fading, he initially starts the base with what ever length you ask for, but fades with only scissors! Such a skill and art that not many barbers utilize. I never give five stars, I would have had they greeted us when we entered the shop, but I'm picky - that being said, my son and I will be going to this shop for as long as we live in the area! we showed up just after lunchtime on Dec. 24, there were maybe 3 other ppl waiting and three barbers working, so we didn't wait long at all - the waiting line filled up quickly just after we had arrived, so good timing on our part - Garik cut and styled my son's hair perfectly, with minimal direction - he did the same with mine - all in all, we were out of that shop looking fresh and clean within 35 minutes! add to that the price and location, I'm a dedicated patron now! edit: after all that, I'll give them a 5 star! we'll see if they earn that 5 star rating on the next trip! read more

My teenage son wanted a barber shop that specializes in men's cuts. We tried to get a same day appointment; they were pretty full but managed to squeeze us in at a time that worked for us. We didn't have to wait long, and his haircut was done quickly and professionally. He was very happy with it and the barber was great at cutting it exactly how my son described. There were two guys and we forgot to get the name of the barber who did my son's haircut, but the other barber was doing great cuts too.
