Little J's is great. People forget about it but it's a good place to get pizza with a side of fried rice. Really great subs too.

The food is good, service is bad. If you do go do so after 5 o'clock when the good waitress comes in.

Side note: my daughter requires a service dog and he had his vest on clearly stating he was a service dog. There were NO other customers in the restaurant and they close at 9. We walked in with the dog and a young arrogant gentleman immediately said, "NO-UH UH...we are closed. No dogs allowed. We're closed. We're not serving you." An older gentleman, noticing the service dog vest, jumped up immediately and said, "No, we're not closed. We will serve you, have a seat!" And the other gentleman said, "No, we're closed and we're not serving them with a dog. Come back next time and we'll gladly serve you." I looked at the older gentleman and thanked him for his kindness and then I looked at the younger gentleman and said, "Let me tell you one thing, you won't ever have to worry about us coming back here again and you will never get a dime from us. You're nothing but an arrogant asshole and it's obvious you don't want our business and I will be making a Facebook post and blasting how rude you were." He said, "I don't care!" And I said, "well it's a good thing, because it's getting posted. Have a good day asshole!" And I walked out.

As the mother of a gluten free toddler, and gluten free myself, I trusted that recommendation completely. I will never make that mistake again. Walking in, the place was flat out disgusting. A trash can shoved directly under the soda machine, jammed against a booth, flies swarming around it like nobody had cleaned in days. FLIES. Next to the soda machine. The only open table and booths were dirty. Like, more than crumbs. We should have walked straight back out the door but we didn't, because we were exhausted and had a 3 hour drive home, and we thought, "How bad could it be?" Incredibly bad, it turns out. The "gluten free" crust was thin, flimsy, and burnt around the edges. And the aftermath has been brutal. My toddler and I have both been glutened so badly we are sick, in pain, and completely wiped out the day after what was supposed to be a fun family trip. Instead of beach memories, I'm nursing my kid through cramps and misery because this place could not be bothered to handle allergen prep or basic cleanliness properly. If you have celiac disease or a real gluten allergy, stay far away from this place. Whatever cross contamination is happening in that kitchen is dangerous, not just inconvenient. I don't care how many people recommend it, the risk is not worth it. We will never go back, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid it too.
