We moved here almost 4 years ago & it's been hard to find great restaurants, including great pizza. Abruzzo's is very good pizza. No other "chainy" place comes close. I asked for a margarita well done (they say crispy) and this is what I got. The crust is pretty doughy and the margarita is pretty heavy on the cheese. Walked in on a whim and was immediately greeted by their staff with a warm welcome! The dining room isn't very big, but perfect size for a quick lunch/dinner. Their staff was busy making pizzas, but not too busy to provide great service! The cashier recommended a few items and helped me with placing my order. I didn't need it right away, as I needed to head out and run errands, so I was able to place it to be delivered, which I appreciated. Fast forward to about 30-45 minutes and everything was hot and ready at our doorstep. The delivery driver was kind and friendly! The food was delicious! The pizza slices are definitely on the larger side, fresh and delicious! The fried ravioli, wings and knots were on point! Great recommendations from the cashier and we will definitely be ordering from here again! The food looked good the slices looked like nyc slices but why when I ordered I didnt get the same thin crust I asked for extra crispy pizza and why did I not get that it was thick and not crispy doesn't even look done could've been in the oven for longer. OK, no luck finding the #geocache so we decided we'd try our hand at lunch. We had the entire place to ourselves at 11am on a Saturday morning so we didn't have to fight for slices. We both went with the special of 2 slices and a drink for $6.99. Let me tell you, our eyes were far bigger than our stomachs because neither of us could finish both pieces. We each took a slice home (I had pepperoni and my friend had meat lovers) and they were super nice and gave us some to go cups. Geocaching works up a THIRST!! What I loved: the flavor! Omg the pizzas we ordered were absolutely delicious and packed full of flavor. This was my first time trying Abruzzo's and I was so impressed with the quality ingredients. They didn't skimp on any of our toppings and they didn't just lay them on top of the cheese either. I was so happy to see many toppings were also buried beneath the layers of melted cheese so each bite was packed with great taste! What I didn't love: they were not very flexible when it came to customizing our pizza. We had originally wanted the Abruzzo 26" Supreme pizza (comes with your choice of 6 toppings), however we wanted to divide the toppings (6 toppings on one side and add additional Toppings for the other side). We were willing to pay for each extra topping, but was told it couldn't be done. They also didn't suggest a solution such as creating our own custom pizza. So we ended up having to buy two separate pizzas and it cost us $48. read more

This is my go to for great Italian food!!! I pretty go weekly -we love the Stromboli full of meat and cheese in every bite has something delicious. The pizza very thin and foldable- simple you can taste the flavors we always get the margherita. My kids like the pepperoni calzone and the chicken Florentine calzone. This is our go to place the only downside is the reason why we took a star off we wish they sold Italian beer like Moretti or Perroni. we have yet to try the cannoli they are out every time we try to get them.
