I want to start this off by saying I am not one to complain because I am also in the food industry. The service I received tonight was unexplainable. It would be a totally different thing if they were making hourly. The workers here make well over 15 an hour and still beg for tips, but yet they still ensure your out before THEY CLOSE. My friends and I came In prior to 10 and ordered, but they still took until at least 10:30 to provide us with our food. We had no complaints as we knew they were busy, but to our surprise one of the workers kept reminding us that they were closing soon. Little did we know they were closing at 11... but they tried to kick us out at 10:45. I honestly think this is ridiculous if you are working for tips because quite frankly I have stayed well over my shift to take care of my tables. Not to mention they make a good hourly and still ask to supplement with tips. Once we left one of the girls (pictured) shoved the pizza box out of my hands and was extremely rude. Multiple of the workers were screaming GET OUT even though it was prior to their closing time of 11:00 pm. I just thought this was extremely ridiculous because they aren't working for hourly, they are working for tips and don't even take care of the tables or wait courteously for them to leave. I have never experienced service like this ESPECIALLY when they are asking for additional tips (which I did add).

I had pizza here a few months ago and it was absolutely delicious! I honestly can't remember what I got, but I remember being very happy with my choices. The service was wonderful and they lady behind the counter did a great job. The dining room was clean and bright. I can't remember much about it other than that. Finally they had some good draft beer selections. Will definitely be back next time I visit my family!

Penne Alfredo and Garlic Knots

Unfortunately, this was the "penne alfredo" we were served "to go". In addition, the garlic knots had raw garlic clearly from a jar, scooped on top. I definitely don't recommend this place when there are better high-quality Italian restaurants in Greenville to spend good hard earned money.

Pig and Fig 12"

We've been waiting for Cucinella's to open their location in uptown Greenville and were excited to try a new place. We had the pig and fig pizza and were blown away! That has definitely been the favorite and we end up ordering it almost every time. All their pizzas do not disappoint, especially the specialties. The pizzas are a great thin crust while still having fluffy edges. It's a casual place serving very flavorful nyc style pizza and I highly recommend getting a slice here.

We ordered pizza and calzone this is the second time we have had problems....So we tried again but we are done they used to be so good but the quality of the food has gone down.....and both times the owner said it was a new cook first day solo....we are done unfortunately...

Love this pizza. It will be a new staple for me. It's fresh, thin and a lil crispy just like I like it.

Delicious cheese bread, fresh salads, crispy crust pizza and fast delivery make this a great option for an impromptu catered office lunch.

Really good food. Some of the best pizza in town. And we love that they add hot honey to them. So good. We always enjoy going here.

Pizza is delicious, reminds me of NY pizza. Very tasty. Best in Greenville no doubt. They're from my hometown of Rochester NY.

After many pizza and salad orders I think they are the best pizza Greenville has. They really have come to stand out here. Very very good.

Owner Richard Williams went to Italy to study the advanced art of REAL Italian pizza, which is not very similar to the Americanized version you're used to. I stumbled across this place by chance, and found it amazing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and you can see a lot of thought went into making the surroundings beautiful and "Italian." Richard was there, working alongside the staff, mingling with customers. When my pizza arrived fresh from the oven, I could not believe my taste buds. They take no shortcuts here! It's the real thing, and good luck finding a pizza this good in the States, outside a major metropolitan area. Wine and beer list is excellent, and just to cap it off: this restaurant is very reasonably priced! Go try it and see for yourself.

We enjoyed a 'pizza with sauce and cheese' and a 'crisp eggplant' (was a little nervous about the eggplant as they are large slabs but they were perfectly fried and tender). Both pies were delicious. Salad options are limited so we combined a 'dressed greens' and a 'panzanella' which worked great. We got takeout but the interior looked charming; if I'm in the area again it's definitely going to be a stop.

Quick, crisp, efficient are all hallmarks of what makes a platoon capable at accomplishing ones ultimate goal. So too does Michelangelo's. The three prong attack of taste, price and portion size do well to assault any negativity levelled against it. The combo offerings generously compliment both price and portion size. Lastly is the subject of taste. Crisp, with a delectable balance of cheese to sauce provides a solid foundation and anchors already varied menu options. Perhaps most tantalizing is the promise of an "all you can eat buffet". Alas, I have only taken part in the pizza per slice option and combo choices. The buffet is for a far more intrepid individual than myself. Long story short, that pizza, like a symphony of harmonious gastrointestinal delight, slaps.

We were seated quickly enough but the tables are set up so that some tables have chairs set so your back is directly in front of someone else's chair sideways. So, the diner sitting behind me stared at my back the entire time they were there. I just found this the most awkward of arrangements I've ever seen in a restaurant. I ordered a water & baked ziti with meatballs. When my lunch arrived I thought the meatballs looked dry but after tasting them, while they did look dry on the outside, they were moist and tasted delicious. The rest of the entree was a disappointment. I didn't feel as though there was enough sauce on the ziti, it tasted overcooked and the layers of cheese on top had baked too long. So long it was hard to break off and enjoy in one bite - ziti, meatball and cheese all in one taste. The toasted bread needed more butter as it was just dry toast to me. I had plenty of leftovers and tried to pawn them off on my husband for dinner. While he did eat it all he also made mention that even after heating it up in the microwave, the cheese was still hard to eat. Our server either had too many tables or just doesn't believe in refilling water. I had hopes that if my glass only had ice in it she would take that as a hint to refill it. It was not to be and I had to hunt down a drink soon as we left the restaurant. All in all, this isn't a place I would return to. I liked the atmosphere and the transparent kitchen, it just isn't a place I would spend anymore money in.

From the parts I got to see inside was small table seating around the bar. We got lucky to sit in at the outdoor covered patio seating which was great minus perhaps some outdoor heaters to warm it up a bit. Service was good overall. Servers were fun and helpful. Service a bit slow on our drink refills but the food running and table bussing was fast. Food was great, wished I had taken pics to share. Menu consisted of a good selection of apps, sandwiches, burgers and sides. Everything we tried was great. Chicken nachos were awesome, wish they had been a bit bigger but the topping portions was perfect and the taste amazing. The Cuban and fried pork chop sandwiches were again great and the spicy sweet potato fries were so good. Potion sizes were good and the food tasty. The nachos and spicy sweet potato fries were my faves. While probably not the place for young families, this was a hidden gem and fantastic find. Not really for those in wheelchairs as it is tight getting through the bar area, but there was a small ramp I recall. Bathrooms could use some work, about what you'd expect at your local dive bar but only a single stall and could be cleaner. Highly recommend this place.
