Really messed up to lie about prices on your menu and then not mention your prices were raised until after payment had been accepted. I was stopping by to get some food on my way home. It was my first time going there and nothing against the restaurant itself, but it probably will be my last. The service was adequate, the food, granted I didn't pick pizza, was adequate. What upset me and disappointed me were two things: they did not have an easily accessible menu online and what bothered me the most was that their menu in person had inaccurate prices. They did not mention it until after payment had been collected and I inquired. I would recommend asking the price of what you want to get before you order it off of the menu. (I'm fairly confident, unless I misheard, that even after asking what the altered price was, and including tax, I was still overcharged) read more

I am originally from Chicago and I can say this is an amazing local mom/pop pizzeria spot. Best authentic pizza I have had in awhile. The crust taste great and gives the pizza a nice crunch to it. Went to Greg's to get lunch for a doctor's office that requested it. I have to admit, when I pulled up to the front, I was a bit worried. I had to remember that little saying about not judging a book by it's cover. This place looked sketchy. I almost called the office and told them I wanted what was best for them and this did not look like a reasonable place to get food from but I bit the bullet and went in anway. Thank goodness, I did so! I got a pizza and some italian sandwiches that were ordered. The staff was extremely friendly, inside looked clean, not sketchy at all like the outside, and the food was amazeballs! I got a steak and peppers sandwich that knocked my socks off. The office I carried the food to kept talking about how they only get pizza from Greg's. I have to admit, I do not get to Grifton much but I am going to schedule it in more often so I can have lunch at Greg's! read more

I consider myself a Pizza Snob since I'm from NY. This is not a NY Pizza by any means, but it is a really good pizza. Flavor was on point and a nice crunchy crust--not too much crust either. At the beginning of this year we went and had a bad experience. There were two younger girls working. They were in and out of the door smoking and on their cell phones. We got a horrid pizza. Crust was soggy and the pizza was terrible. I have never had a bad pizza or sub from them. But if he keeps using young people that don't care about this store...he will be out of business quickly. Normally their fried chicken is the best, i ordered a four piece mixed today. The wing was not fresh and I called to state the fact and that I would come back later to exchange it, however the young guy that answered the phone was real rude . When I asked to speak to his mom, he was very disrespectful and hung up the phone. read more

Got two chef's salads to go last night the take out plates were half full of iceberg lettuce,1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber 2 slices of ham shredded and that was all. I've been coming here for over 15 years when they first opened across the street. My family would come here every Friday night and Greg was an amazing and friendly guy that greeted us everytime. Amazing food!!! Best in town! I still come here as an adult and miss Greg greeting everyone. when friends/family come and visit from out of town I take them here. It's a great sit down family restaurant and great take-out! They are extremely busy so expect a bit of a wait but it's well worth it read more

People think Grifton is "in the middle of nowhere", but when you literally live in the "woods" it great to have a place you can drive to that's not more than 30 min away. The pizza here is great. Nice crisp crust with just enough browning on the cheese. The put he perfect amount of toppings on as well. The calzones on the other hand are not so wonderful, they lack filling and the cheese need to make it something other than a large dried out pizza crust.
