We said "no". After we finished there, we went over and tried Brown Dog. My wife had a caramel macchiato and I had an apple pie latte. We also got two sausage, egg and cheese croissants. Neither one of us could taste coffee in our drinks. They were too sweet. It was like drinking sugar water. Neither one of us finished our drinks and threw them away. The croissants were way too small. The only thing that this place had going for it was that it was on the main street and was bigger. It was freezing cold inside as well. I don't think we will be back.

Have questions about gluten free baking? You've come to the right place. Need a GF dessert to feed a crowd? Ditto. Just want to treat yourself? Again, the perfect pit stop. Custom cakes are also available to order. It took a while for me to whittle down my choices for purchase. Ultimately, I opted for a fresh GF baguette and a lemon bar. On returning home, I cut off a piece of the baguette and had it with some salted butter. Moist, with just the right amount of chew, it was the first decent GF baguette I've had in almost 15 years. Later, my husband made cheesesteaks and served mine in Gluten Free By The Sea's baguette. Mwah! Chef's kiss! So good! (I usually have my cheesesteaks in a lettuce wrap, so this was a rare treat.) The next morning, I enjoyed half the lemon bar with a cup of Irish Breakfast tea. A winning combination of tart and sweet, it was a wonderful way to begin my day. For them to be gluten free I've never seen anywhere else. They are exceptional especially if you put them in a toaster oven and let the cheese melt and the pepperoni sizzle and the bread get a little toast on it. This is an extremely small shop with no public restroom. Most of the items are frozen but they do have fresh daily offerings. They will heat up items for you such as a cinnamon roll if you can't wait to get home, just ask! As with all things GF, there is a GF-tax. It is expensive. But again, most GF people are not surprised they have to pay a little extra. JP's shows you why it's worth it though.

Everything was over-fried, and for the price we paid, it was very disappointing. I chose not to leave a review because the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff seemed overwhelmed, and I assumed they were simply having an off night. I stay here for one week every month during the spring and summer. This trip, my family wasn't with me, and I was looking forward to enjoying dinner here again. I ordered the shrimp dinner, which came with only 10 small shrimp, French fries that had clearly been refried, and a cucumber salad that had no flavor. I don't normally order fries, but I remembered how fresh they used to be, so I made an exception. Sadly, they were not fresh and tasted like they had been cooked twice. It disappoints me to write this because I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant in the past and wanted to see it succeed. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly compared to last year. Based on my recent experiences, I won't be dining here again for the rest of the season. I truly hope they can return to the quality they once had.
