Cuban Pizza with Ham & Onions
Mark P.

I stayed across the street at Home2Suites. I didn't feel like going far for dinner, and this was a great choice! This is a family run establishment and well worth the visit. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and a pizza with Ham & Onion. You'll see by the photo it was delicious!!! I'd highly recommend trying the food here. I'll definitely be back when I visit El Paso on business.

I do want to visit again, but I will not reccomend the Cuban sandwich. I got a lot of food for the price but it wasn't that good. It seems that this place wants to be a pizza place above all. So next time I'll try the pizza. Might be awhile though. So I'm used to Cuban sandwiches from Miami and South beach Florida. This place doesn't compare. I feel it does cater to the American palat and expectations. It was too big and over packed which what most ppl might like. The sandwiches I've had in FL were well balanced and didn't spill out every bite. I did take my food to go but the fries were soggy and greasy. They give you a ton. So if you're more into quantity over quality, this is your spot. I forgot what the other option I bought, it was smashed plantains with ham and cheese. I wouldn't order these again. I've eaten all sorts of plantain dishes during my travels in central and south America. This would rank at the bottom of my list. It was really hard and dense. It seems like it was premade way ahead of time and reheated in a manor that made then definitely feel reheated and not fresh. The staff which was the cashier and a cook was nice but didn't speak English and I had questions about the menu before ordering but we couldn't understand each other so I just ordered what I ordered. I wouldn't suggest this place. It could just be me but I can't seem to find anything impressive from non-chain restaurants here. Yelp suggestions affect helping either. I've been here going on 4wks living in a hotel with my company paying for meals so I've been exploring daily. I need to find a hotel with a kitchen because I've been disappointed with almost all my non-mexican meals here in El Paso.

Loved the sandwhich torpedo cubano and the filled tostones! I am definitely going back to try the pizza. Service was great and small dine in area.

I loved this place and so did all my coworkers! We had the Sandwich Cubano, Torpedo Cubano, Pollo Chiflado and the pizza. Pizza was next level. I've never had this style of pizza before and I loved it. Fresh, hot food, great service that took care of our party of 6 very well. Can't wait to come back!

Went for lunch. Service and food were both very good. Parking and neighborhood only reason for dropping a star. Will go back.

Located off one of the main streets; in a shopping complex sits Orange Cow Burgers which originally started out as a Food Truck. Now, there's approximately three locations in the surrounding areas. Menu is pretty straight forward and simple. Orders are as follows: a single, double, triple and protein cow. It's fresh ingredients, all-beef patties that are cooked to medium. The best part is they have a secret speciality sauce called moolicious! We got two single patties along with two orders of fries and a pup patty (single plain patty) for the dogs. All to go. Prices are extremely reasonable in today's market. Taste was as if you made it right at your own La Casa. Only complaint was not having "enough" of that sauce to really have it stand out beyond home cooked. That said, you can also get their "loaded fries" which includes this specific sauce as well. We opted for "extra crispy" plain fries and they were really good. Service was fair enough as far as the wait ( 2 parties a head of us) and friendly staff. Great little spot if you happen through El Paso Texas or if you're local, hit them up for your own burger experience & request extra mooliscious spread of course!

Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!
