So far this is my favorite pizza place in EP. I've tried a bunch of non chain and this is pretty good. It's definitely better than Grimaldi's which is more of a fancier place. Service is nice and pretty fast. Nothing fancy, a hole in the wall place but it's definitely my go-to place. read more

To say their crust is amazing is an understatement. Damn, you take a bite and the crust melts in your mouth. Crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside. It was truly an experience. The pizza, cheese, sauce, toppings all so good! I wish they were in Las Cruces and I'd go at least once a week. I've had pizza all over L.A. and New York and this place comes up on top! They only have canned and bottled drinks and no ice, which I love a good fountain drink, but the pizza makes up for that. The boneless wings were really good, too. Very spicy! Only complaint was the boneless chicken. Same consistency of me putting a bag of Tyson frozen chicken nuggets in an air fryer. Not that it's disgusting, but I expect a little more from ordering out. For some reason JV has cut it's pizza sauce in half. I don't know if management is trying to stretch it's per pizza costs or if the workers have gotten lazy and sloppy. Pizza without sauce is just cheese bread. I bought a pan pepperoni yesterday. I have half of it sitting in my fridge. Today I couldn't bring myself to eat that dry pizza so I ordered some tacos. The next door neighbors have a pit bull. I'm going to see if he likes dry pizza. I won't be buying any more JV pizza until I see an ad campaign telling us that they have doubled the sauce. If you are looking for a delicious pizza from a locally owned place for about the same or less than the big chains, I recommend checking out JVs. JVs Pizza is so good, I think it's about time we called it up to the Varsity Local Pizza Team, it's long overdue! I really like JVs thick, flaky, chewy crust and they're really generous with the toppings, which yay! I've been trying to work my way through their specialty's menu, they're only $10 for a large. I always takeout, but there's plenty of dine-in space and the folks here are really nice, they also have a drive-thru window. We got an extra large cheese pizza, a medium pepperoni, garlic breadsticks, salad, 4 cans of soda, and plates all for $23 (including tax). That fed our family of 8 with a few slices leftover. Impressive! Their food is cheap and tasty. The salad was perfect- no wilted pieces. It was ready to be picked up 15 minutes after we ordered which was great. I didn't go inside, but my dad said it was clean and the employees were nice. We would definitely come here again. I've had some soft crusts that are so chewy and doughy it's pretty gross or they are so over cooked it's like chewing on a piece of cardboard. Anyway I ordered a pineapple and Canadian bacon pizza and a chorizo, pepperoni and jalapeño. There was an online deal for 1 large 3 topping for only 8.99. Even with the delivery fee I paid less than 28 dollars which is way cheaper than Dominos and the pizza was great! My boyfriend loved the chorizo one. The kids loved the pineapple one. Them kids are piiiiiickyyyy!!!! I was really happy that they actually enjoyed it. This is definitely going to become my go-to the next time the clan feels like having a pizza night. Well the pizza is good, the service is too, even delivery was fast. Now one thing that bothered me was the misleading advertising and pricing. They advertise a deal of 12.98, plus delivery. What they dont say is that they will add on the delivery price to every pie, plus toppings, so it came out way over the said deal, plus tip that's not a biggie since the boy deserved it. Even when you walk in and order a custom pizza on the spot, they will get it done like in 7 minutes. (Even though they say it will take about 15-25 minutes) Pizza is superb and a very good deal for the quality! You can taste the freshness and homemade ingredients.
