The potato sliver salad was like a thin sliced crunchy papaya salad. Great texture with a slight quick ferment flavor. But it was the Szechuan chilies that really set it apart. Yum! And the plate of Xi'an liangpi noodles was even better! Perfect melting of chili oil & noodles. We fought for every bite. The sauce was so good. We used it for everything else afterwards. Once I picked it up I made the short walk (literally right around the corner) back to my hotel, so everything was still warm and nowhere near soggy from sitting in a to-go container too long. The pork burger was the winner here. It had good flavor and held up well for takeout. The beef noodles were solid but not quite as good. The beef itself was a bit dry, which took away from what should've been a juicier, more satisfying bite. Xi'an cuisine is known for its hand-pulled noodles and bold, spicy flavors, so I was hoping for a bit more richness on the beef component specifically. Overall, a decent quick bite. I'd go back and order the pork burger again, though I might branch out to something other than the beef noodles next time.

After a short walk we ended up here and got to fill up on all of those things that checked every box. The soup was hearty and delicious, all of the different dumplings and buns we tried were amazing. In the end we ordered pork buns, shrimp and pork dumplings, pork steamed fried dumplings, and vegetarian eggrolls, My only lament is we were staying in a hotel and leaving in the morning and couldn't take the leftovers. Believe me, I would have. Every bite was worth it and I was sad I missed out on so many of them. Eyes were bigger than that stomach. I would absolutely eat here again. In a heartbeat.

It's a tiny spot with just two communal tables inside (seating about six each) and a few outdoor tables. Definitely not the place for a long, lingering dinner -- this is quick, tasty, and casual dining. The noodles are made fresh on-site, and you can actually watch them being pulled, which is really fun to see. I ordered the chicken and peanut noodle soup -- it was flavorful, comforting, and hit the spot. The staff was friendly, though you can tell they like to keep things moving since there's usually a line out the door (and sometimes down the street!). If you're in the area and want something fresh, fast, and different from the usual London fare, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

I looked on reddit and a few people gave some positive reviews on this restaurant. I guided my brother here and we were immediately impressed with the service and how comfortable the environment was when we entered. We ordered a few items to share and it was plenty between the two of us. We have some local favorite items from home that we tried out here, and this restaurant does each of these pieces exceptionally well. Highly recommend to anyone who is in the area looking for a restaurant in Chinatown. The cuisine is southeast Asian and each of these items on the menu tell you where the item is from. There are also pictures on the menu, but they do not do the food justice as the food came out so well prepared and complimented our day in London. I will be sharing with anyone who comes!

Food wise, I wouldn't it is the best Chinese I have ever been to but it's very good food and worth going if you want upscale Chinese without the crazyness of central London/Chinatown. We shared for starters the spicy sechuan aurbergine (a must order), mushroom buns (as nice as the ones from aWong) deep fried green beans (also a must) and the crispy duck ( Im never a fan but aWong and Kym's probably have the best ones and amazing plum sauce) For mains we tried the three treasure (soya chicken, iberico pork char sui and crispy pork). I think my favourite was the crispy pork. Its a good way of tasting all the rotisserie but if you are super hungry I would recommend ordering 2 of the rotisserie separetely. As for desserts, we tried the Pineapple bun and the cherry ice cream both lovely. Awong is definitly the king of custard. although I think the custard bun from aWong just beat everything lolol.

They have a lunch menu that is just £6, for which you get a starter and a main course with your choice of boiled or egg fried rice or noodles.
