The tables and the floors were clean with no garbage or debris in sight. There was no music playing in this tea shop and it is quiet. Staff: The staff here seemed friendly and are patient when taking your order. Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken: This lacks a bit of flavor as they could do a little better with this. It is not crunchy on the outside and the inside is cooked to perfection and is chewy. However, you can still taste the oil that they fried the popcorn chicken in. Colorful Fruit Green Tea: It has some green tea taste, but you can barely taste it. Peach Green Tea w/ Crystal Pearls: It has a hint of green tea as well and you can taste the peach flavor. The crystal pearls taste hard and is meh. Maybe I should have ordered the regular tapioca instead. Overall: This bubble tea shop is like any other tea shops in the area. The only bad thing about this tea shop is that they do not serve hot drinks during Spring, Summer, Fall. I have never heard of any tea shops that only serve hot drinks during Winter only. Most of the other bubble tea shops in the area sell hot drinks all year long.

To aajao mere naal to Jo n Tea in South Plainfield And here's a sweet deal - if you visit Monday to Friday between 2 and 7 pm, you get 15% off! Here are my top recommendations: Mango Tea with Blue Foam. Imagine biting into a perfectly ripe mango -- juicy, vibrant, and fresh -- now sip that with a creamy, dreamy blue foam topping. It's a tropical vacation in every sip." The spicy noodles. These aren't your average noodles -- they pack a fiery punch balanced perfectly with savory depth. Honestly, some of the best I've ever tasted -- bold, fresh, and absolutely addictive. The Hot Cheetos Chunky Hotdog? Crunchy, cheesy, with that iconic Cheetos kick. It's comfort food with a wild, flavorful twist! Then there's the Mango Pomelo Sago -- sweet, tangy, with sago pearls that burst like tiny flavor bombs. It's bubble tea elevated to an art form. And don't miss the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken -- crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with seasoning that's both savory and satisfying. It's finger-licking good! They refuse to have any interpersonal interaction with customers. They inform the customers to use the kiosk machine instead. Cleanliness: The store is clean with no garbage or debris left on tables, chairs, floors, or near the garbage can area. Pricing: The drinks and snacks here are decent prices from $5.00 and up. Ube Coconut Vietnamese Coffee: This drink was a little different and it just did not taste great. My friend stated that he was glad he added sugar, but he felt like this drink could have been better as it was not to his liking. Mango Matcha: I have mixed feelings about this drink as it tasted a little weird. One sip it tastes a little sweet and another sip it tastes a little bitter. I think I should have stuck with some mango drink instead. Chocolate Egg Pancake: Last time we got this item it did not have any chocolate filling inside of it. It was just a regular egg pancake but chocolate looking. They perfected this with the chocolate filling inside and it definitely tastes better now. Overall: I do not think I would come out of my way just to come here to get bubble tea. If I am in this area again next time, then I may give it another try with a different drink. They should also start to communicate with their customers because some customers love to interact with people.

The taste of the drink was pretty solid, and the syrup made it a little more fun than chocolate milk teas from other places. I was disappointed with the pearls though; they were lacking in flavor and didn't quite have the texture of well-made tapioca. Other plus points include the ambiance and service. BOBALICIOUS is in the same building as a Nathan's, and I think the overall decor and cleanliness are quite good. The guy running the spot was very friendly and eager to make sure I was satisfied with my order. BOBALICIOUS is off to a good start, and I hope they can continue to improve over time. Side note: they have a promotion where you can get a free topping for writing a Google review. It could be perceived as trading a 5-star review for a discount, which could explain the abundance of 5-star reviews on Google. I didn't specifically incorporate this in my review but I want to mention it so you can make your own judgment.

The place wasn't buzzing with crowd or have too many pastries and bakery items on display filling every isle but this place stood out for a a very naturally tasting cupcake which our kid absolutely loved. It was at night on a Saturday so many of the shelves were empty but they still had a few things left. Sunmerry appears to be a chain but one that I have never visited before until now so I can't really comment on what they have, but I did manage to grab: MATCHA CLOUD DONUT - This reminded me vaguely of the im donut donuts I tried in NYC. Very soft and pillowy and filled to the brim with a lightly sweet, matcha filling. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this. RED BEAN MATCHA BAGEL - it's a matcha dough with red bean filling BUT the filling doesn't go all the way around. It goes maybe 65% so if you're splitting this with someone like I did, fingers crossed you both get a decent amount. The bagel was soft and in a bagel shape but it lacked the chew of a bagel. The filling was nice and different but the matcha taste was subtle - if that. Overall, liked the idea, but I wanted more of a bagel chew than what I got and to taste the matcha better. Maybe even have a more even share of the red bean. COFFEE BRIOCHE LOAF - my husband liked this one! Which is good because I got it for him. This is quite good. Soft, lightly sweet with a coffee top. We ate this maybe 12 hours after and much of the top layer had "melted" and gotten on the cellophane but it was still delicious. Perfection. I definitely scraped off the coffee bits from the cellophane so it didn't go to waste. PINEAPPLE BUN W/ MILK - I grabbed this one thinking there was a filling inside and there wasn't. I don't know if the bun was placed in the wrong location or the name is telling me the bun isn't vegan but it's a good pineapple bun but without anything inside, it was a tad dry. Maybe it needs a pat of butter like they do in HK. MELON PAN - I haven't had this in a good long while so I got it for fun. It's smaller than the pineapple bun and the topping is a little sweeter - I remember crunching on sugar crystals. It's not bad but also not filled so it's a tiny bit on the dry side. The place has tables to the side where you can enjoy your goodies. I didn't stay too long but they definitely serve drinks and delicious cakes as well. The staff were nice and the place seemed on the dim side. Fingers crossed I can go back during the day to get a better idea of what they have! In the meantime, this is a good place for an Asian bakery fix. They do list out ingredients under the names of their baked goods so that's awesome! From what I could see, their baked goodies are likely not vegan or gluten-free friendly, though...
