It had been a long time since our last visit, but considering, we were in the area, we decided to grab a few pizzas from Papa Murphy's. If you've never been, this spot a bit different than the other pizza places in the area. They will build you a custom pizza, with whatever toppings you'd like, but they don't cook it. It's a take and bake situation, so you bring it home, cook it in your own oven, to your liking. There is a bench to sit and wait if it's taking a bit, but no tables for dining in. Dining in is not an option at all. My wife wanted a peperoni pizza, so we ordered on with a thin crust, i wanted a thicker crust, so opted for their original crust with a ground sausage and onions. The staff was friendly, and quick to get our pizzas assembled. It wasn't long at all, and we were on our way with 2 pizza's ready to cook. They provide very clear instructions for cooking, and once we got home we put them in the over...about 20 minutes later and they were cooked to perfection and tasted great. It's rare we're in that part of town, but whenever we are, and get their pizza, we are always very satisfied with the price, options and quality. I wish there were one closer to High Point, but will continue to give them future business when I've got the opportunity.

I was traveling and we were waiting for them to open after they'd come to get me from the airport. Since I can't have this in NYC and you can get the pizza with whatever toppings you want on it (I got my signature pizza), I had a happy few days eating this despite suddenly getting a cold. Also worth noting that you will still get adequate cheese on this pizza without having to ask for extra cheese. My getting to go depends on where my family travels but I definitely like the brand and would go again if I had the opportunity to do so.

They're known for their Detroit-style deep dish, and those crispy edges are REAL. That alone sets them apart. We tried a mix of items including the 8-corner pizza (half sausage, half bacon), an XL cheese, buffalo wings, and drinks -- and everything came out fresh and hot. One thing I always pay attention to is how food holds up later... and I have to say, this pizza was STILL hitting even after reheating. That's a big plus for me. The wings were solid, and the ranch? Yeah... that was a highlight. So much so that my son is now putting ranch on his pizza after judging me for years Overall, this was a great experience. Good food, consistent quality, and a solid option if you're looking for something a little different from your typical pizza spot in the Triad. Would definitely come back again. I loved how decorated jet's pizza was. It was very warm and inviting atmosphere as well. I didn't necessarily see any anywhere to sit in, but there may have been another side. I don't believe so.

I figured they were busy, so I called back about 15 minutes later, but the call went straight to voicemail. The voicemail was not even set up. My wife and I both tried from different carriers, Verizon and Spectrum, and had the same issue. We kept trying over the next 15 minutes, thinking maybe the phone lines were tied up because they were busy taking orders. We eventually drove there to place the order in person, only to find they were not busy at all. When I mentioned the phone issue, they told me they "always have problems with the phones." I can only imagine how much business that costs them. I placed the order, and the lady with the thick dark-framed glasses read it back correctly: two large cheese pizzas, one large half cheese / half pepperoni and ham pizza, and one chicken calzone. We were told about a 30-minute wait. When we got home, the order was wrong. We received three large cheese pizzas, with no pepperoni or ham on the specialty pizza we paid extra for. The chicken calzone also had ham in it, which I assume was supposed to go on the pizza. Now I'm wondering where the pepperoni went. Unfortunately, the person who ordered the calzone does not eat ham, so that ended up going in the trash. On top of that, the quality of the pizza was disappointing. The middle of the pizzas seemed undercooked and sloppy. When you picked up a slice, all the cheese slid right off. It's a shame, because we really want to like this place.
