The Tiano's large pizza special never fails as a fresh low cost spur of the moment meal.

They have really went down hill. Ordered a Steak and cheese it was dry and bland no seasoning at all. Very disappointing.

This place was highly recommended to me by both my grandparents. So my dad, grandma and I went for dinner. We ordered the large Tiano's special. It was quite large and covered in all the delicious toppings you'd ever want. Pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, green peppers, onion and mushrooms. One large was plenty for the three of us. We even had two slices leftover. The people behind the counter and the lady working around the dining room were super nice and friendly. I'd say typically this is the kinda place you'd get the pizza to-go but the dining area was just fine. I like to eat my pizza fresh out of the oven. I hate it's so far from home because this pizza was absolutely amazing and I'm already craving more! read more

Good italian food here - the baked ziti with meatballs is VG; and you get a salad with it or FFries. Pizza is very good too. Sauce is very very tasty. The ladies and men there work very well together and the orders are always correct. Nice big place so you can sit down with your family or friends. Has tables and chairs. read more

Staying nearby, it's always our tradition to get pizza out first night away. This was the closest to our Air BnB. Pizza was not relay at the expected time. Which is fine if it's a few minutes. It was over 15 minutes past the time. The cheese was not cooked all the way as I could still see where the cheese was shredded. We got a supreme but with NO sausage, no ham and no mushroom. They had all of these toppings on the pizza. Yuck. I started to pick off the toppings I don't care for but there wasn't much left on it! The pepperoni was really good so it gets a 4 star review from me which is being generous. read more

Tried Tiano Pizza twice, once for a pizza, once for subs. First visit was a small pizza. Very busy, line was about 10 people when I arrived and was almost to the door when I left. Little bit of chaos as a result, if they knew you they took care of your order, if they didn't, you had to keep an eye out and ask if something was yours. Pizza was made quickly, simple pepperoni and mushrooms. Mushrooms were the canned variety, not fresh, but were plentiful. Crust was tasty and crisp and sauce was tasty as well. Second visit was for a subs, a steak and cheese and an Italian. Interestingly, the Italian is not listed on the menu as a hot sub, but was delivered hot. Steak and cheese had decent amount of ingredients, and the crusty bread was good. Flavor was a bit lacking, but it was still good. Will return when I'm in the area again. read more

Those new people that took over should not be in restaurants, first they brought the cooks from Star pizza in who have been known not the wash their hands and touch food without gloves but second they can't even figure out how to make a decent pizza, my pizza literally felt to be half an inch thick on one side but then the other had holes and black parts in it from where I guess it burnt in the oven, I was too embarrassed to take a photo because we had ate in so we just left, I'm not sure where these new owners have came from or what experience they have in restaurants but I sure do miss the old Tianos that was based off of family and the community rather than these new people that seem to be serving slop for a paycheck, we won't be back read more

I want to love this place so much, but they make it hard. I have had issues with this place before, calling in orders. There is an old man that works there that is very rude on the phone. He actually hung up on me once. I am not sure if he is the manager or owner, but he was our main problem again. We don't go to this place a lot. They have good pizza, the best in town really. But the customer service is usually really lacking, they are not friendly at all. This time we ate in. Me, my wife, and two of our children. I went up to the counter to order. They have a weird setup. You must go up to the counter to order, but they bring the food to you. No refills, you get your own. The old guy (manager/owner?) took my order and completely messed it up. My wife ordered a chicken calzone, she got a chicken Stromboli. My daughter ordered a plain cheese calzone, she got a ham calzone. I ordered a ham stromboli, surprisingly that is what I got. We ordered mozz sticks, got those. And we ordered a large cheese pizza. The food came out it was all messed up. We didn't say anything because we know the place. The pizza did not come out. We thought it just took longer maybe. A while later my wife whet up and asked for a side of Ricotta cheese since they gave her a Stromboli instead of a calzone and she inquired about the status of our pizza. As it turns out the old man never wrote down the pizza on the ticket. They showed me the ticket and said it was never written down, as to some how prove me wrong. I told them, I told him large cheese pizza and pointed at the old man. No sorry, no apology, nothing. So basically we had to wait for them to make the pizza. They brought it out, no apology or anything. Would have been nice to have the pizza taken off the bill. But no, full price for no customer service at all. Not even an apology. Every time I go here, I remember why I have not been there in a while. I have not plans to go back to this place. I miss Blue Naples Pizza in Madison, they had better pizza. read more

We got to-go pizza from this well established pizza and pasta place. We called our order in, and it was ready in the promised 30 minutes. The pizza was cooked a bit unevenly, but the cheese pull was amazing. The buttery mozzarella really hit my taste buds right. Four of us shared a large pepperoni , and my parents had a small cheeseburger. If you want a great take-out spot, I recommend Tiano! read more

Steak hoagies are probably the best thing on the menu. Just wish I could get them to toast the bun before adding anything. Pizza is decent if you are looking for thin crust pizza. I really wish some place around here did a thick crust though. read more

We were touring the beautiful & historic town of Madison, NC when we decided we were hungry for pizza. Siri brought us to Tiano's Pizza! We are so glad we discovered this Italian gem (October 13, 2018). You can tell they have been doing this for over 30 years! We ordered 2 Large Pizzas. Our first pizza was the Tiano's Special (Pepperoni, Sausage, Hamburger, Ham, Onions, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Cheese & Sauce). Our second pizza was Hawaiian (Ham & Pineapple, Cheese & Sauce). Both pizzas were filled with toppings and tasted amazing! There was just the right amount of sauce and cheese. There were plenty of all the toppings too! What an awesome surprise! we moved to this tiny town in Madison and saw this little place in a shopping center with Food Lion and thought why not try it? The food is fantastic. Whether you get a dinner like eggplant Parmesan, a fresh salad or there perfect pizza you will not be disappointed. it's amazing to find such a high-quality place and such a small community. I was so disappointed with my experience I wish I would have kept my memory of eating here in my high school days. I ordered the steak cheese special which consists of steak, cheese, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I also ordered fries to go with it. The sub was all bread with hardly no meat inside. It had no taste at all. The fries where also bland. What happened to this place? I think the best choice now if you are in Madison Mayodan Stoneville Area would be Blue Naples. Hidden away in a shopping center hole in the wall place but the food was the best. I was there in town visiting for a week and got food there two times in one week. Sicilian pizza is the best. Stuffed shells even better definitely recommend this place. read more

Haven't been to Tianos in a while. Was in the mood for some pizza. Looks like they have redecorated. It looks just the way a pizza place should. Homie atmosphere with the stain glass light fixtures. Ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Tea is brewed and sweet which always good. I don't drink sweet tea often but when I do I like it strong. Pizza was excellent!!! Crust was crispy and had wonderful flavor. Sauce was some of the best I've had in some time. Cheese and just the right flavor. I will definitely be back. read more
