I came in for the lunch special. There are maybe four or five booths and I would say about the same for tables. They also have seats at the counter like a diner. The gentleman who waited on me was pleasant and helpful. I ordered the lunch special which is between 11 AM and 1 PM. It is a 9 inch pizza with one topping for $7.25. He brought it out to me with my can of soda. It did not disappoint. I watched the people coming in and out. It seem to be a steady stream also it seem to be like Cheers where everyone knows everyone. They all seem to have a personal connection with the owner. What an unassuming place to come and get great pizza. Would you believe I left having met a new friend. I've never seen someone so confidently make a cosmo and an old fashion within a 3 min. time span. She is a force and knows exactly what she is doing. Food: We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. I really recommend the calamari appetizer, great quality and the spicy sauce that came with it was delicious (I love the spice level it was perfect!). I literally can't stop thinking about the salad I had, it was so diverse in flavor profile and texture...salty, sweet, acidic, bitter, creamy, crunchy, and fresh. I have only one complaint, both of our water glasses on the table that we had to drink out of were dirty (dried food stuck on the outside of the glasses and a sticky residue).
