Carry Out Review! Gallagher's Pizza is a Friday go-to when visiting the De Pere/Green Bay area. Their pizza always hits the spot whether you get cheese or multiple toppings. My preference is just cheese as the blend is very flavorful, the sauce is equal ratios to cheese, and the crust has a good crunch/flavor. We also often get some of their appetizers to go with the pizza: cheese curds, breaded mushrooms, and jalapeño poppers. Their homemade ranch is amazing to dip appetizers or the pizza into. Gallagher's never disappoints and it's a food spot I look forward to when coming to the area. Highly recommend! Tip: Gallagher's has great delivery service. Their pizza is just excellent! Love the sauce that they use. We usually order the combo and it is very good. Crust is nice and thin as that is what we order. We also have ordered their spaghetti with meatballs and also lasagna. Both are very good and again a great sauce. read more

We placed an order from our hotel at the Radison as this was the recommended pizza place. We were told about an hour but it was closer to 2 hours than 1. When the guy arrived we paid, tipped and popped the box open. This is the kitchen sink type pizza where it's heavy and dense. Pizza was luke warm at best. Gallaghers is definitely one of my favorite pizza spots. The pizzas have great flavor, and the crust is especially good! I especially love their Mac n cheese pizza, and it is a favorite of my family! Additionally, they have great customer service, with friendly and attentive workers. Another thing I love about this location, is the family-friendliness and the game room they have in the back. DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN ALFREDO! I really like their baked lasagna from here, and order it often. I decided to try something else off the menu and got the chicken alfredo. It's absolutely disgusting. The sauce is jar sauce, not homemade, very comparable to Fazolis. Also, you can tell the chicken is the kind that comes frozen, precooked, and precut up. The chicken was pure white, no seasoning, no grill or baking marks, just all white like boiled chicken. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. You could tell the whole meal was a microwaved mess. Which brings me back to the baked lasagna. I dont know why in my head I thought this place was making all their food from scratch, but after tasting the alfredo Im pretty positive the lasagna is a frozen lasagna they are reheating, and fixing up with toppings. What made me like this dish in the first place was that the marinara sauce they cover it with tastes fresh, combined with the cheese they put on top, and then baking it, makes it taste pretty dang good. They offer gluten-free pizza unlike a lot of places but the crust is often inedible from how hard it is. My son likes the breadsticks but that's a hard item to mess up. Don't waste your time ordering pick up if it's around a meal time unless you feel like waiting as if you didn't order ahead. read more

I ordered take out, 4pc perch. I opened the box and couldn't find the perch. They were the size of my pinky finger, literally! Come on Gallaghers, we know our perch here in Green bay and the surrounding areas. That was no perch. I think you cut them in half running low on fish. Ordered the "authentic Philly cheese steak" it was nasty. The bun was wet, the meat was dry and there were no peppers on it... My son and I determined that it tasted like it was fresh from the dumpster! So gross, will not order again. I also ordered the cheese curds and they were so over cooked that there was barely any cheese left in them. Server was uninterested in doing her job. Nobody wears name tags here, but I think her name was Whitney or Britney, but I'm not too sure since I heard a co-worker address her and I think that's what they said. Food order was incorrect, attitude for days when it was pointed out. It was slow in the restaurant, so no reason to be so glum. The phone orders seemed to take priority over us, and some man kept screaming out instructions from the kitchen to the staff in the front. Just so unprofessional. Also ordered a cocktail- it was the weakest drink ever my waitress also made my drink so I doubt she knows what she is doing. I don't see coming back here. read more

This pizza place is out of this world! We ordered a vegetarian pizza (we subbed black and green olives for tomatoes and mushrooms). The staff was so friendly and willing to take substitutions for our needs. They told us the pizza would take up to an hour -- but it was WAY quicker than that! The delivery came in about 20 minutes. The man delivering the pizza was friendly. I could smell the delicious food before he even took it out of the bag. I had a great night at home with my roommates. I will definitely be ordering from here in the future. P.S. -- SNC students, they have a small discount. Reliable but nothing special. Sometimes I think the menu is too big and they just can't get the distinctiveness down. Lots of items are on the bland side, nothing makes it jump out and say 'this is great' but then nothing makes you say 'this sucks!' Pizza is on the doughy side. Our deep dish this time came with the center only warm. The Wednesday pizza buffet is pretty good when they have their soups. Pizza only dinner buffet was great. Good price. Good variety of pizzas. Would never of tried the Mac N Cheese Pizza if I had to order an entire one. Variety of normal crust and thin crust. Staff was friendly and the price was inexpensive. $5.55 Three extra large pizzas typically sausage or cheese or pepperoni. Then five smaller pizzas that change (see photos). Had a Friday off, so after an appointment mu husband took me to Gallaghers for the buffet. We got there right when they opened so everything was super fresh and hot!! Got ourselves a comfy booth and headed right for the buffet. They had quite the variety of choices for us. But of course since pizza is my absolute favorite, I grabbed a plate and headed for the pizza selections. They were all thin crust and very delightful. The garlic breadsticks were also very very good. I grabbed a few chicken wings with the buffalo sauce, OMG those were so crispy with great flavor. The buffalo sauce tasted homemade and awesome as well! They also had italian beef with au jus which was very thinly sliced and tender. Try the onion rings too, those are delightful! The salad bar was also heaping with fresh choices as well. Other items were mac and cheese and unlimited refills on soda. For less than 10 dollars a person you can't beat it! I was most impressed. Buffet was just ok. Salad was old, chicken wings were over cooked and for some reason they had mostly vegetarian pizzas out.

Good food at good prices. However, I recommend only dining in for buffets. If you eat anything else there, it is better to order out or have it delivered. My husband and I have eaten there several times. When it isn't a buffet, the service is often very slow. We just went there at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and were seated quickly. We then waited at least 10 minutes for our waiter before we got up and left to get dinner elsewhere. There was no one else in the restaurant except for a couple kids being chased around by their dad. So, no real excuse for lack of service. This wasn't the first time we have had to wait awhile for service, but it is the first time we walked out. read more

How have I not reviewed Gallagher's? We've ordered from here at least 10 times. Best Chicago style pizza in town, IMHO. Better than any of the "famous" pizza joints in Chicago (which are all crap, BTW). Their traditional thinner-crust pizzas are OK too, but the deep dish Chicago is where it's at. If you order it out, they might say it only takes 15-20 minutes, but it always takes at least 30. Take the kids to the buffet if you want a crowd pleaser, but don't expect an amazing adult experience there. I visited the De Pere location with my mom and we enjoyed the pizza selection very much. The option for honey wheat crust was a nice surprise, and the flavor of the crust did not disappoint either. We also had an order of breadsticks prior to our meal and they were very fresh and flavorful. They have a decent selection of beer and we were impressed to see they had a small bar in the restaurant, along with a game room and separate buffet/gathering room. We will definitely be back to try out some of their other pizzas as well as the buffet. read more

I have been here two times and honestly I like the Green Bay Mason location better. I had the buffet which I have never had before and it was okay. Nothing special and some of the pasta/pizza options were really greasy. The shrimp was over breaded and the stuffed mushrooms were gritty. I did like the cod on the buffet and the salad dressing options. I was tempted to steal the dressing on there it was that good. read more

This location is probably the worst location they have. Terrible service with greasy, overcooked food that you would expect to find at a roadside shack. The kitchen is disgusting and definitely needs an inspection by the city. Easily the worst "restaurant" in De Pere. We've eaten at Gallagher's three times this summer in De Pere and get the same waitress every time. Pizza's are decent, especially the classic combo but it is very watery. We literally soak up the water in the bottom of the pan with a load of napkins. The worst part is this waitress. She's very inattentive to the point where we have actually walked over and gotten our own refills. The hostesses are always friendly and bubbly, wish we could get one of them instead! read more
