First time for us at this new, within a year, business for Lancaster. Good to see growth like…read morethis. The present owner is the founder of Heath Springs Pizza in Heath Springs, SC. He did very well so he expanded into the main street of Lancaster to repeat his pizza operation. It was crowded when we went in at around 7pm. Interesting menu with usual appetizers and salads but with a few new items. The Wedge is basically half of a 9" pizza folded over all sorts of fillings and then cut into three slices or "wedges". Cute idea...different. Wife and I split a small chef salad ($7.99) which was more than enough for two of us. Had Italian dressing and it was a packet of creamy Italian, which was OK. Ordering pizza is either pick from their suggestions, of which there are plenty, or create your own, or...any combination that works for you. They have Chicago pizza, and for those of you that are not familiar, this is a deep dish pie, thick with crust and cheese. It is almost 2 inches high. Crust Types: Hand-tossed, Thin' N Crispy, The Edge, Gluten Free Cauliflower, crustless (!), or create your own. This includes a base pizza, pizza sauce, cheese and your first topping. Each additional topping is charged based on pizza size. Sizes are: 9" Personal $8.99, 12" Medium $10.99, 14" Large $12.99. 16" X-Large $14.99. We ordered a thin crust, crispy crust, medium size Little Italian pie ($14.99). It did not jibe with their pricing, but we were not to quibble about it. It took almost 30 minutes to arrive, but then again, it was crowded. It was OK...not like you would expect. Our specifications with thin and crispy came out appearing like a frozen pizza from the grocery store. But it was flavorful and had a nice mix of the various ingredients. Next time we will go with a hand-tossed. Not fancy, with wood bench booths on both sides and small or large table combos in the center. And you are there with what appear to be very nice Americans, working class, with their children. Every one was having a good time and it was comforting be with a regular folks kinda place. On the south end of main street. You can even park in front on the street.

I have sent complaints to corporate. Their solution was to give me a free pizza the first time. The second time they wanted to know what they could do to rectify the problem. I told them to train the staff in customer service. I am going to contact them one more time on the issue I had today. Cold pizza, wrong bread sticks and 35 minute wait and it was a call in. Again no apology or even acted like they cared one way are the other. Offered to remake them and I said no just refund my money. I asked did they have something against me. Is there a asterisk beside my name when I call in so they can screw up my orders? If this had not been for my mom I would not have went there a third time. Looking for good, affordable Mexican food in Lancaster? I'd choose this place over nearby…read moreMariachi's any day. Why? The prices are comparably better, the staff is friendly, and the food feels a lot lighter on my stomach than the brick that Mariachi's always seems to deliver. The people that work here are very friendly. My dad goes weekly, sometimes with a friend, and they ALWAYS remember them as well as what they order! Not all of them speak the clearest English, though, but I deem that a seal of authenticity! Don't see exactly what you want on the menu? Ask for it! I usually get a single chicken quesadilla with rice. The plate is always completely full and steaming hot when it reaches me; it's just the right amount of food. And for how much? Something like $4. You can't beat that! My dad usually gets the buffet, which has a bunch of different options. He and his friend even like their wings, which is surprising for a Mexican restaurant. The buffet also comes with a dessert item - sopapilla, a fried tortilla with cinnamon sugar, with optional honey to drizzle on top. If you ask, they will put a scoop of vanilla ice cream to finish it off! :) Their complimentary salsa is DELICIOUS, made fresh, and can vary in spiciness depending on the batch that day. The chips that come along with them are light and crispy. Best ones I've ever had. Overall, if you're a Lancaster resident, I'd recommend you give this place a try. You may just become a regular! EDIT: And to address the naysayers - let's remember here that we're talking about cheap Mexican food in Lancaster, SC. You're not going to get 5-star quality, but that doesn't mean it isn't tasty!

This will be our last visit to this location, ever. If I owned a company and I could not deliver what I advertise then I would be seriously concerned about lawsuits. McDonalds and Burger King are currently in class action lawsuits for not delivering what they advertise. Clearly the food in this picture looks nothing like what the menu or advertising for Taco Bell shows. I feel like I have been ripped off and the folks working there just don't care. How can a business operate like that. They should close it down just like they did with Church's and Captain Ds. Taco Bell's reputation of decent, quick Mexican Food is damaged every time this location serves a customer.
