Welp, I held out for long enough and I'm finally fed up enough to give a review/warning…read more I love the place. The Burgers and fries are great. They have apple pies that taste like what McDonalds used to serve over 15 years ago before they got cheap with them. My problem with them is however they organize putting the order together into the bag. 95% of the time I go there, there's something wrong. Most of the time, it's that they don't give me my dipping sauce. For most places, I wouldn't care about the mistake and just eat my meal. However, unlike most other places, this franchise charges $0.50 for a dipping cup and you don't get a complimentary one. Other times, I'm missing my apple pie. Luckily, It takes me 2 seconds looking in the bag to notice because they have this annoying protocol of having drive through customers pull forward, away from the window to wait on your food (unlike other places, it's not because 1 item you ordered is being made and allowing other customers to get their food and go around you while you wait). It turns into me rushing to open the bag and find a problem before they disappear into the building. Now come to today. Same old, same old. They managed to remember my dipping cup but forgot my entire apple pie. Waved them down, got it and took off. Fast forward to getting home and I open my burger to find that my double is suddenly a single with jalapenos on it. I have never been to any food place that forgets and messes my order up more frequently than I have here. It's not a food problem, I love the food. It's a problem with the people working in it, which is more than likely because of whatever very specific way the franchise wants their workers to do things. If you go here, make sure you have everything you paid for. You will probably need to be vigilant here more so that any other place you've gone to combined.

Second, very sad they forgot to give me my fresh fried onion rings. Shame on me, should've checked the bag and I didn't. In my defense? There was nobody in the parking lot - I was the only one in the drive-through lol! Whataburger Classic Monterrey Double Special Whataburger sauce Missing Onion Rings - $22 Not bad, sautéed peppers on Monterrey were good, burgers cooked properly, bun not too dense and had a buttery flavor. Burgers are thin, I want more than that when I eat a burger. One visit to check the hype was enough.

When I think of fast food hamburgers, I think of Culver's. Today, my husband and I decided to try…read morethis new location which is closer to our house than the Carowinds location and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a Culver's. We ordered butter burger double combos which arrived at our table before we could even get our drinks. Our rushed burgers had absolutely zero taste except for the pickle, the bun was different than the normal butter bun, no juice or grease from the meat or cheese, barely any mayo and definitely not worth the $9 part of the $14 combo. While I know places can have bad days, this is Culver's and in today's world it is hard for me to swallow spending this kind of money on anything this expensive. I took my burger back up to the counter (my husband didn't want to complain) advising them I was not happy and I was gladly made another. One point for Culver's customer service. The new burger literally arrived in less than a minute and was no where near spectacular like you would expect from Culver's. I took a couple bites and said forget it. Same thing, no taste from meat, no juice, barely any mayo, only taste from the pickle. This kind of rushed meal explains what this location cares about, quantity over quality. I will continue going to Carowinds location until this location starts showing more care for what they are throwing out the kitchen window.

This location is pretty small, so if you hit it during prime times, you will have a wait to endure. The good news is that your order will be brought to you by a server. Beverages are in a separate area, do it your self. Condiments are also in this area. They keep things clean and the cashiers/order-takers are very helpful and nice to you.

From the moment you walk in,…read moreyou'll notice an impressive menu with plenty of options, but the real standouts are their soup and chicken. The soup is something special--rich, flavorful, and genuinely comforting. It's easy to see why regulars rave about how it feels almost "healing"; it's the perfect start to any meal. As for their chicken, it's juicy, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. Whether you order a quarter, half, or whole, it's cooked just right and pairs well with classic sides like rice, beans, and plantains. Mr. Pollo does a great job balancing homestyle comfort with Latin American flair, making each bite memorable but not overcomplicated. What really makes Mr. Pollo worth visiting is not just the food, but the vibe. Service is warm and relaxed, and the atmosphere is unfussy--which is perfect when you just want good food without a lot of fanfare. If you're in the mood to try something new, the menu's got plenty of options, but even the basics are done really well. Whether it's a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner, Mr. Pollo hits the mark. Give it a try, especially if you want a meal that feels comforting and satisfying.

Damn, your company is making it hard for people to have enough left for a decent tip! Just like 5 Guys is doing ($34 for 2 burger combos), you're pricing yourselves out of the fast food market. People are not fools. You may be keeping your bottom line up for the time being but in the long run, you'll run your business in the ground. And one more thing, it's NOT my responsibility to pay your employees! Take some off your bottom line and pay them fairly, out of your profit.

So we ordered on phone and did an in store pickup. The store was clean, the cashier friendly. Prices on reasonable. No one else was in store but my dining mate wore his mask. There was a plastic shield in front of the cashier. We took the pizza home. The topping was very tasty but sadly the crust was moist, not crisp making for a blah soft crusted pizza. This was the regular crust and wondered what the thin crust would have tasted like. We both agreed we had better pizza elsewhere but hey for the price it still was a deal. Not sure we would order another pizza here again. Maybe an off day there. The online menu offered a few sides such as breads sticks. salad etc. besides pizza

I was a bit early for lunch arriving around 11:30 am. There was only two people in this very cute restaurant. Lots of table and chairs inside and outside for seating. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to take everything in. They have a counter top where you can see them cutting actual chicken and potatoes for the fries and placing them into what appears to be high pressure deep fryers. This place has been set up to make you the best pieces of chicken you can get. I ordered The Beaut (minus the mayo) a large chicken breast covered in a crispy batter and perfectly deep fried! There was a good amount of pickles with the sandwich, like 4 or 5 which really covered the entire sandwich so you always got a bit of them. The bun was not my favorite. I'm not sure how to describe it. A little smushed is the best way I guess. I also ordered a 6 piece bites package. These things were full on huge chunks of chicken they seasoned and deep fried. I don't normally like to take pictures of food partially eaten but I had to show what one of the bites looked like after taking a bite. They were large, hot and cooked to perfection. I did try some of their BBQ sauce. Not a big fan but it wasn't bad. I also got an order of the skin on hand cut fries! OMG they were so good! They gave me a large bag of hot fries that just totally completed this meal! And I'm talking they should have come with a warning they were so hot! Loved it! As I was waiting for my order to be bagged I notice the large cookies and the glazed hand pies they had on the counter. This isn't like other major food chains so the price is a little higher but you are getting quality food. If you are looking for some good fried chicken and hot fries then I highly recommend this place!

Staff was friendly, food was quick I got the cheesy Beaut the sandwich was a good chicken sandwich crisp not greasy. Good flavor for a standard chicken sandwich, a little more mayo than I prefer, but it's dukes which is outstanding. In retrospect there is a hot thigh sandwich, they need a breast sandwich "Nashville hot" They offer some sauces but it did not notice when ordering, if they ask I would have bought some Slaw was very good It's worth a try, it's very good chicken
