The staff was kind and accommodating which we appreciated, too. But, as their name declares, it's about the burger and that's where they let us down. Their style is rolling the meat thin to get a perfect bun:meat ratio, which they nailed. But the burger is literally tasteless. Remove the condiments and the mustard and you're left with a gray, lifeless disc of beef just begging for a hard sear and seasoning. Disappointing. Moreover, both our buns were dried out and the sliced tomatoes were not ripe. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter wondering if we should try them again or look somewhere else.

Welp, I held out for long enough and I'm finally fed up enough to give a review/warning…read more I love the place. The Burgers and fries are great. They have apple pies that taste like what McDonalds used to serve over 15 years ago before they got cheap with them. My problem with them is however they organize putting the order together into the bag. 95% of the time I go there, there's something wrong. Most of the time, it's that they don't give me my dipping sauce. For most places, I wouldn't care about the mistake and just eat my meal. However, unlike most other places, this franchise charges $0.50 for a dipping cup and you don't get a complimentary one. Other times, I'm missing my apple pie. Luckily, It takes me 2 seconds looking in the bag to notice because they have this annoying protocol of having drive through customers pull forward, away from the window to wait on your food (unlike other places, it's not because 1 item you ordered is being made and allowing other customers to get their food and go around you while you wait). It turns into me rushing to open the bag and find a problem before they disappear into the building. Now come to today. Same old, same old. They managed to remember my dipping cup but forgot my entire apple pie. Waved them down, got it and took off. Fast forward to getting home and I open my burger to find that my double is suddenly a single with jalapenos on it. I have never been to any food place that forgets and messes my order up more frequently than I have here. It's not a food problem, I love the food. It's a problem with the people working in it, which is more than likely because of whatever very specific way the franchise wants their workers to do things. If you go here, make sure you have everything you paid for. You will probably need to be vigilant here more so that any other place you've gone to combined.

It…read morehas become very popular and although we do not participate in most of their activities, they have a monthly schedule of bands/music, bingo and trivia nights and other special events. The menu is basic, but more than adequate to satisfy most everyone. And they keep adding things to it, keeping all their standard items. And the bar is a good one. Appetizers are pretty standard. Good variety. One item that I really like and do not find often is catfish. At $14.50 this grilled, fried or blackened fillet is a nice light dinner or lunch. Salads, from $10.95 - 11.50. Their Okra salad is unique. Burgers served with a side. A ton of sandwiches, principally versions of chicken and two sausage versions with grilled veggies. You can delete items from your sandwich, but cannot add on other items. Ditto with flat-breads. Pasta, only Alfredo, and you can add chicken. Fourteen (14) versions of wings, served in 6, 12 or 18 piece portions. Desserts are limited to funnel cake strips. This is not a biker bar...a common comments from people that have never been to a biker bar. You will be eating and drinking with seniors, couples, all sorts of dating couples. Service is quick and friendly. No pretense, Brew's is a nice casual place where you park in the unpaved area surrounding the building. And the prices are very, very reasonable. You won't go broke here.

Mr. Pollo is the kind of place that will pleasantly surprise you. From the moment you walk in,…read moreyou'll notice an impressive menu with plenty of options, but the real standouts are their soup and chicken. The soup is something special--rich, flavorful, and genuinely comforting. It's easy to see why regulars rave about how it feels almost "healing"; it's the perfect start to any meal. As for their chicken, it's juicy, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. Whether you order a quarter, half, or whole, it's cooked just right and pairs well with classic sides like rice, beans, and plantains. Mr. Pollo does a great job balancing homestyle comfort with Latin American flair, making each bite memorable but not overcomplicated. What really makes Mr. Pollo worth visiting is not just the food, but the vibe. Service is warm and relaxed, and the atmosphere is unfussy--which is perfect when you just want good food without a lot of fanfare. If you're in the mood to try something new, the menu's got plenty of options, but even the basics are done really well. Whether it's a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner, Mr. Pollo hits the mark. Give it a try, especially if you want a meal that feels comforting and satisfying.

First time at Wing Kung and overall not a bad experience…read more The service was really good. The server was attentive, made sure we didn't run low on drinks and we were ok. We ordered 15 medium boneless wings and sweet potato fries. The food came out fast so we didn't have to wait long at all. The wings were hot and really tasty. No complaints there. The sweet potato fries were not great. They were cooked inconsistently so some of them were really good and some were barely cooked so next time we will skip those and just do wings. We will try Wing King again because the wings were really good.

Amazing how much stuff they offer on their menu and how GIGANTIC the portions served…read more I had a shrimp basket ($14.50) which was fried nicely and not overly breaded. The french fries were also nicely done. Had ranch dressing and tried them with my wife's horsey sauce and both were excellent on the shrimp. Their tartar sauce was so-so and did not use much of it. Endless iced tea. Wife had a goofy meal of fried squash ($7), a hot dog! ($4) and potato salad ($4). OK...married for 56 years, so no judgement to voice. Potato salad was quite good and we took much of it home. The fried squash was great. Cut into "rounds" or large "coins" they were a little oily but tasted great. And they stayed hot for a long time! Brynnen H. was our super server and she must have lost a few pounds that night as she never stopped moving and responded instantly to any request. Super job...many thanks. Just remember that Wing King is MORE than just wings. Even if you don't like wings, come on by and look at how much more they offer.
