The Lucky Seven pizza was also delicious with a perfect crust and big chopped veggies like mushrooms and peppers. Service was friendly and attentive; the decor is clean and on the more minimalist side while also comfortable and welcoming. Agree with all the other reviewers, this is absolutely an amazing experience--this meal will be one of the great memories of our road trip from Sugar Land, Texas (greater Houston area) to South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.

I had to go back to the counter and get them to correct it. The girl in the back prep area was busy scrolling on her phone so the counter girl had to do everything. The chicken was so dry and hard that I could not stab it with the plastic fork. The brisket was chopped into tiny bits and was dry. It reminded me of kibble. The ribs were overcooked and dry as a bone. The sad little roll was ok, but there was no butter to be found. The mac and cheese was decent. Pretty good flavor and consistency. The okra was mediokra. Definitely frozen, and not homemade. The free ice cream wa so soft it ran off the cone so I filled my water cup with it and ate it with a spoon. That turned out to be the best part of the whole meal. I had been wanting to try this place for over a year. Overall, it was a huge, expensive disappointment.

This is really good pizza. Nice crust and generous toppings. I like this. Oh, we were offered pizza-by-slice which were already available vs 20 minute wait for whole pizza. We accepted. I have not had but a very few breakfast pizzas and none close to this level of good. I did ask if was frozen or fresh made dough. Is frozen and quite good. And uncertain if I can tell any difference. An uneven outer crust can sometimes tell, but not always.

I went with the regular-size beef stroganoff instead of the large portion and glad I did because the sauce was heavy and contained a lot of beef. We also ordered their special bread (assorted 4-count) and it came out soft and warm with a delicious spread on the side. I'd definitely recommend checking out Joy's Table if in the area. By the way, two more tables came in by the time we left. I guess it's a late dinner crowd.

This isn't a fancy kind of gyro place...and to be honest, nostalgia probably influences my rating and review, but I've always loved Nick's and have never found another gyro place that can even come close. It's closer to a Greek taco than a "traditional" gyro (no tzatziki sauce here - just sour cream, onion, lettuce and cheese) There's just something about those danged pitas! After the original Greek brothers sold their stake, the place did suffer some, but came roaring back to life, delivering that signature gyro as good as ever. I really miss the location in downtown "on the bricks," but I'm happy to still be able to get my fix when we drive across Nebraska! Plus, I hear that they are working out a way to ship to us out-of-towners! if that happens, my diet is definitely going to suffer. Get the gyro, and a side of corn nuggets. Long live Nick's Gyros!
