Food was good, service was okay, bathroom needs attention. The lady who took our order could have been more helpful. I should have canceled my order and reordered after discovering my dad's Mac n cheese and my chicken would be more economical if ordering meal deal. I mentioned my discovery and was told "you don't expect me to add $2" the menu is to complex to make recommendations for better deals. I asked about my brother's order that contained 2 mashed potatoes but only one gravey and was told that's what it comes with and we could order a $6 tub as we can't get another gravy of same size. read more

Never get our order write. This time Bought 8 piece meal only one breast in. Asked to come back. Didn't have a crispy breast available, gave us original recipe (no longer tastes like original recipe). Last time individual breast meal ordered. Got a thigh instead. Time before that breast was there but not extra crispy as ordered. Again, original recipe ugh! We wanted a good meal. Gave us coupon for free meal even 8 piece. Lied. Not so... single meal. First off, the service. Leeian is the coolest most nicest and polite person I have ever ment. My Mac and cheese bowl was the perfect temperature and had the right amount of noodles. 1. the boy dropped some of my change when we went to drive thru, and said a word that i'm not going to repeat here! didn't even give me the rest of my change that he dropped after that! 2. overcharged! the 2 x dip buckets were supposed to be $7.00 each, and yet our bill came out to over $17.00 when you can clearly see the ad on the window for $7.00 each (they have done this before, and wrote the added on price real small in the lower right corner of the ad in the window, now they are even too lazy to do that), and i even asked if that was the price while at the speaker, and was told yes). didn't give me the receipt i wonder why? i think i know! they are doing this a lot at the kearney nebraska kfc like on their chicken fried steak dinners on wednesday! they seem to think they can put up the ad, and you can see the ads on tv, and then we will just way over charge you, and to them that is okay! 3. asked for the barbeque sauce, and was given honey mustard even after he had repeated it back to me. they were even slow we was the only ones in drive thru! 4. on top of that the food was nasty! they need to really really redo this store on customer service, and the food quality is the worst! 5. don't waste your time, or money go to the other chicken place in town!!!!! read more

Doors were locked despite signs saying dining room was open until 8 pm. We were there at 5 pm. Went to the drive through, asked about dining inside, and they said East door was open. It was also locked and they unlocked one door on the west side. It was raining so we had to go through the rain from the east side to get to the west. Then the clerk told us it was carry out only. When asked why they didn't say that in the drive through, he shrugged. Our order was missing silverware so we had to go through the rain to get back in and get silverware. Clerk was nowhere to be found and drive through person had to come to the front. Not ever going there again! read more

The drive-thru server did not give me the correct change. After bringing it to her attention, she glared at me as if I were in the wrong.

The chicken is super greasy, the gravy is colored water. Not much choice for sides. We got an 8 piece bucket and the chicken was dripping grease. There was a half inch of grease in the bottom of the bucket. The Cole slaw was the only good part of the meal. Trashed the chicken. Staff is rude and very seldom get the orders right. The food has gotten totally gross. Kearney needs a Popeye's. Their chicken isn't greasy and has flavor. read more

A horrible example of a KFC buffet. We arrived at 1230 thinking that would be good time for a fresh buffet line, NOT! Just shy of $9.00 each for a chicken buffet with no chicken out except thighs that had been sitting a long time. When we asked about breasts, they said they did not put them on the buffet and they would be an extra charge. If what you are looking for is all you can eat mac and cheese or bread pudding, this is the place. If you expect a decent chicken dinner don't bother. Expensive, lousy and the bathroom looked like midnight at a low rent truckstop. They should have their franchise pulled. read more

It's KFC so it's generally the flavor you expect. I do also expect errors at the drive-thru and some rudeness from staff at this location.

Went to KFC drive-thru for dinner tonight. Cashier wasn't very friendly. Not polite. Try to order mac and cheese for a side, they're out. I get to the window and it takes them forever to get to the window to take my money. They forgot to ring in one of my drinks I ordered, I can deal with that, though. I get home and 2 of my sides are wrong, one of my items is crispy when I asked for original, and they forgot my 10 piece hot bites. This is not the first time, either. If you're looking for fried chicken, try elsewhere. read more

Kfc always gets our order wrong. They forget several things or switch things around. We even called corporate after about the third or fourth time we had to go back to get some of our order. No apology from either the restaurant or corporate. Corporate said they would send us coupons and never did. I think KFC is definitely does not care about customers or they would straighten up. And corporate could care less! read more
