A male team lead or supervisor was not computer literate and did not know how to cancel the order or issue a refund. The pizza has just the right crust I like, a little chewy but not so much that it ruins the pizza. It was cooked perfectly, and tasted amazing. The garlic knots were even better, they provided plenty of sauce which is always a gripe of mine as I love to use the sauce liberally. We also got a gluten free pizza which is great that they have available. It wasn't as amazing as the regular as GF basically never is, but it was also quite good and we were glad it was available since we have a celiac who can't enjoy standard pizza.

Veni Vidi Vici…read more Corner Crust in Cornelius absolutely conquered our pizza night. If you're near Lake Norman, Corner Crust in Cornelius, NC is the real deal. This spot is putting out seriously great New York-style pizza and wings. We even caught the owner -- one serious pizza aficionado. He's actually a New Yorker (well, Long Island, but close enough), which explains a lot about the authentic pies coming out of the kitchen. We tried the Hawaiian pizza and it was incredible. The sweet juicy pineapple paired perfectly with salty ham, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese on their excellent crust. We added spicy large jalapeños on top, and they delivered a solid, fresh heat that elevated the whole pie -- the sweetness, smokiness from the bacon, and spices heat played off each other beautifully. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The wings were just as outstanding. Super crispy on the outside with that perfect clean snap when you bite in, releasing tender, juicy meat inside. Packed with flavor and cooked exactly right. Easily some of the best wings in the Lake Norman area, yeah I went there........The owner told me his secret recipe and technique, but I have been sworn to secrecy..... I can say that he buys his wings free range, no steroids and you can tell the difference in every bite. Coming in on the high side at $1.80is per wing, but I ask you this - how much would you pay for perfection? Local craft beer, yes please. You can use the Untapped App to check out his selection of the finest local craft beers on tap. Great portions, giant slices, laid-back vibe, and friendly service rounded out a fantastic meal. Whether you're going classic or adventurous with the Hawaiian (highly recommend adding bacon and jalapeños), Corner Crust delivers. We'll definitely be back soon! First, rating a dinning or carry-out experience is a subjective thing. What I don't like or find…read moreannoying you may love. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. Besides, I'm old enough to remember the days when restaurants offered quality food and a place to sit down and enjoy it with the family. I'm also old enough to remember the Godfather's Pizza of lore from the 70's and 80's, as I also remember the heyday of past greats like Domino's, Pizza Hut, and other franchise pizza greats. All that changed when big corporations bought out these companies and ruined their once great reputations by only caring about the bottom line and offering subpar products. Since I hadn't had a good 'ol Godfathers pizza since the early 80's, back when you could actually sit down in their restaurant, order a hand-tossed pizza, and enjoy a pitcher of ice cold beer, I decided to see what I've missed the last 45 years. I dropped in and ordered a large 1/2 and 1/2 - Classic Combo/All Meat with the butter crust. I was told 20 minutes and it was ready in 20 minutes, impressive! The pizza - I would rate it right up there with all the other mega franchise pizza companies, i.e., Marco's, Domino's, and right on down the line to the bottom of the barrel. The crust tasted like eating a chewy cardboard box with an off-taste like paper. Nothing about that machine preformed crust was enjoyable. I'm not a fan of these premade pizza crusts at all. Even though one side was the Classic Combo and the other All-Meat, you couldn't differentiate between the ingredients. EVEYTHING tasted the same, except for a very offensively strong tasting onion. Nothing taste or smells worse than pre-diced onion from a bag loaded with preservatives. I guess in a situation like this in a strip-mall pizza carry-out joint, you can only expect low-quality franchise supplied toppings anyway. The sauce was terribly sweet and overpowering, and WAY too much used. The cheese was the typical bagged cheese, probably loaded with the usual anti-caking ingredients to keep from sticking together and make it easier to use and handle at the store level. Did I mention the cheese had no flavor whatsoever? But there was plenty of it and covered all the toppings nicely. It looked good! Lastly, the cost. It's expensive. But since part of Godfather's reputation is using a lot of topping on their pizza's, you pay for that. Nothing is free. Better quality ingredients would greatly improve their pizza, but who can afford to pay $50 for a 12" to 14" carry-out pizza? All I can say is the folks that rave about this pizza are too young to have actually experienced the original Godfathers back in the day that offered a really good, high quality product that you could sit down in a restaurant and enjoy. Two stars instead of one for the fast turn time and plenty of toppings - even though it was flavorless. Sorry - I'll take a hard pass on this new 'Godfathers'.

It's a small waiting area and so I chose to place my order snd wait in my car. When we told them that that was RIDICULOUS, that we shouldn't have to jump through hoops with Uber to fix THEIR screw-up, they tried to give us the brush off. We just wanted our original order delivered to us. That's all. My wife had to drive to the restaurant and pick up a new pizza and then DEMAND a refund. (Shouldn't that have been offered by Uncle Maddio's right at the start?) We used to order often from Uncle Maddio's all the time. They just lost four loyal customers.
