Perhaps heavy on the cheese, but that didn't stop me from eating it, so maybe I'm just looking for a negative? Lettuce was fresh, tomatoes too (in March). Not busy when we went, but service was fine (they were wrangling with a new POS system, which is no fun - been there, done that a couple of times myself), atmosphere/etc., all good. Pie itself was hot, well made (not a super-thin crust for those who care, but more thin than not; we found it really good, and yes, we prefer thin crusted pizza), ample toppings, and worth a picture (that we didn't take because we'd rather eat our pie than take a picture of it; we must be old, eh?). Well deserved ratings for this place. It was fine food, fine service, and things like that can make a visit to a town a great experience.

We are from out of town and at 5pm, expected there not to be a crowd but not expecting it completely empty either. Stood for a while waiting for someone to seat us as sign says to wait. Finally went to the counter and lady took us to a table. Took our drink orders. Told they did not have Mt. Dew on fountain, only in bottles. I chose just to get a Pepsi. Placed our order of bread sticks and Med pizza. Was told bread sticks come in 10 or 20. WOW. Our home place does 5 or 10 but OK. They come out as 5 longs cut in half to make 10....... Now it makes sense. Another couple come in so now 4 in the restaurant. They seem to do a LOT of drive through pick up business. Pizza arrives, A lot less sausage on it than we would normally see at home. If bacon was on it, I may could have counted the pieces. Peperoni same, very little. We asked for napkin and waitress advised they did not have any but could bring us some paper towels which she quickly did. We noticed no table had pepper shakers on them. Asked and she again said they were out but could bring us pepper in the little paper bag things like take out has. I did not ask but it seems as if a delivery truck had not come in some time or someone failed to place order for stock. Since we only come here once a year, will see what 2026 brings.

It took a min or two to be acknowledged; this was frustrating. Then to be told, the order wasn't even ready. So I had to wait 10 more minutes for the order to be prepared. The lady working was so slow- I understand this because she was elderly but if the manager of the store knows this, then they need someone else working with her; I've seen her before working and it's always the same deal, the line moving so slow. The other Subway is much better with service and food quality, it's just further away and I wanted to get it quick but I know if I would have drove to the other one, I would have already had my food.
