    Crazy Bread

I know Little Caesar's is no where near gourmet but this was just completely inedible. The breadsticks were so undercooked and doughy I actually thought I had ordered their cheese sticks by mistake.

That "bite bite, sip sip" commercial really got to me. I just had to go to Little Caesar's! :) I love their crazy bread. If you've never had it, it's not just bread sticks, it's the greatest breadsticks in existence! OMG, try them!!!! Anyway, I'm really not a fan of their pizza, but I'd never had their deep dish, so I decided to try that, too. I got it with just cheese. I ordered online which was very easy, and I drove to pick it up. When I got there, I saw the "pizza portal" but I hadn't checked my email, so I wasn't sure what to do. For your reference, your order number is the code. Anyway, a very nice girl was working, and she told me she could help me so that I didn't need to find the email. There was no one in line or anything, so I just had her get it for me. If it is busy though, it's a pretty cool concept, and you don't need to talk to anyone to get your pizza. The crazy bread was awesome, and always is. I don't get it very often, but I love it. The pizza was ok. Way, way better than their standard crust, which tastes like cardboard to me. This crust was nice and buttery, and the pizza was super greasy. I guess that's a good or bad thing depending on how you like your pizza. I would get it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I'd eat it a million times over their standard crust though, so spend the extra couple dollars and get the deep dish instead. Their pizza prices are a lot lower than other places anyway, so splurge and get the good kind, lol. I had only been to the Irondequoit location before this, and service here was much better! I will be back here again for more crazy bread! Their garlic butter dipper is also really good!

    Thin crust- Wow

Hard to say much about the location when most orders are conveniently done online and picked up in the designated section. Almost always ready when you get there, unless it's an abnormally busy night Decently good pizza for $5 and the bread sticks are yummy.

We were recently dog sitting nearby Pizza Chef's Perinton location, and were recommended to go here…read morefor pizza and subs. Specifically, we were told to either get their turkey sub, made with fresh-roasted-in-house turkey and their delicious bread, OR the taco pizza. We couldn't decide so we got both, figuring we could always eat left overs. The time of our order was peak lunch time rush, and it took about 30 min to get our food. We saw them making the pizza and subs fresh, and we also observed a lot of other diners, some regulars, enjoying their food and the conversation with the staff. Everyone was friendly and happy. We took our order back to where we were staying and dug into the pizza. It was a little salty for my personal taste buds, but not my husband's - he really loved the flavors. I was impressed with the crust - which is always a mark of a good pizza in my book. I would get this again, but would ask for something like a side of ranch or blue cheese to help cut the saltiness. Later that same day we ate the subs. The turkey sub was easily - seriously - the BEST turkey sub I had had in a very long time. Maybe ever. The fresh-roasted turkey, the fresh fillings - lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and the Italian dressing - all were the perfect flavor profiles and amounts. The whole sammy was well balanced, so no one ingredient dominated. We had ordered a large, again, with left overs in mind, and cut it into pieces. I added mayo, and just thought it was moist, really tasty, and total comfort food. I would drive across the city to get that sub again. Pictured here is the pizza; by the time we at the subs I forgot to take more pics! Couple other notes: Pizza Chef is in a plaza where there is plenty of parking. They sell soda in a case as well as ice cream, and have quite a large menu that includes wraps, sandwiches and subs (hot and cold), lots of different signature pizzas plus a breakfast pizza and options to build-your-own, plus a variety of fried sides like fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, etc. They also have wings and salads. Definitely check them out if you haven't already. And get that turkey sub. You won't regret it!

Wife like the Chopped Salad (a half salad is enough to share). The atmosphere is sports bar, which is cool but it doesn't interfere with any conversations going on at your table. Our service has always been very good; our waitress let's us know where the kitchen stands with our order and was very quick with our drink order, they are always very friendly and quick to help. By the way we've been to Bar-Bill (East Aurora) which is always busy, so expect a wait, and Bar-Bill North (Williamsville, NY). Both are excellent.

Timing was perfect as we arrived at 730pm as the happy crowd was departing following a big Bills wins (we are Jets fans). Also, should be noted, we are avid MacGregors fans. That the "Hatfield's" to the Bar-Bill's "McCoy's" in the wing story here. Atmosphere was fun, bright, festive and really great to be a part of. Huge space. Terrific feel. Love the decor, the floors, the volume level, and even the plates, napkins and ketchup bottle on the table. Our service was good and even great at times. Maybe because it was after 730 on a Sunday and they were winding down after a busy day - but I feel like we got lost a bit from time to time - but when our server was around, she was a 10 out of 10. Excellent. We ordered their famous wings and two beef on Wecks. The sandwiches lived up to the hype. Can't wait to have them again. The wings were really good. Loved their sauces (we got hot, honey Dijon, and Cajun-butter-BBQ) with extra blue cheese. By the time we got our wings they were lukewarm and dry. They were definitely cooked long prior and then sat in the window for a time. Taste was delicious. No carrot or celery with the wings was a bummer. As were the 2oz soufflé cups of blue cheese. And they don't miss a chance to charge a dollar for each additional. I have no problem with the upcharge. Stuff ain't free. But a dollar for 2oz cup? That's fairly reasonable for 4oz. 2oz is greedy. Atmosphere - terrific. Service - good. Beef on weck - excellent Wings and blue cheese - good. I'll be back. But check out my MacGregors reviews if you want the best in Rochester.

The welcome committee appears to consist of cleaning utensils casually staged on the stairs leading to upstairs seating--because nothing says "we're ready for guests" like a mop-and-bucket obstacle course greeting you at the door. Inside, the vibe is best described as "dimly lit and emotionally uninvested." Less atmosphere, more "we forgot this place was open today." Service takes the concept of "self-serve" to an artistic level. The bartender acknowledged us briefly--just long enough to confirm we existed--before immediately resuming whatever bar-related priorities were clearly more important than customers. Meanwhile, several people ahead of us were openly discussing their 10+ minute wait with no movement toward actually being served. After a while, it became clear we were not waiting for service so much as participating in a passive endurance experiment. Eventually, we chose the only winning move: leaving. Honestly, the most efficient part of the entire visit was the exit. I'm still not entirely sure how a place with this level of disorganization manages to stay open, but I do wish them luck--preferably while we're eating somewhere else.
