I had the Huevos Rancheros with red chile sauce and my nephew had the smothered Chorizo burrito with red sauce too. Estupendoso! Then they had the nerve to bring out free sopapollas towards the end of the meal. Has heaven been reached already! Delicious.

Loved this spot!!! The best breakfast, burritos served ALL DAY. They even have margs if that's your vibe. Staff was sweet, we got a booth by the window which was just perfect. Tried my chile on the side so I could really taste them each & they're both great (but I liked the green better!) The burritos can come smothered. Def consider this for your next brunch spot

Little Anita's is a no-frills, Southwestern Mexican restaurant with good food and outstanding customer service. The restaurant began in Albuquerque, and this is their lone Denver location. There is plenty of on-site parking and comfortable indoor seating, and they provide both dine-in and take-out service. Little Anita's survived COVID because they were pliable and had elite customer service. Pricing is VERY reasonable. My Way Better Half loved her chicken fajita and said it is consistently a great selection. Served with refried beans, pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and three homemade flour tortillas. I enjoyed my Carne Asada Burrito de Mexico, a considerable portion with Spanish rice and beans, and I had them add Green Chile, which made it terrific. The service is kind, but it is also impeccable and genuine.

I grew up in New Mexico but have lived in Seattle for most of my adult life. Every time I visit my parents it is obligatory to eat as much New Mexican food as possible. So when I took a trip to Denver and ended up staying close to this place I knew I had to check it out I ordered the huevos rancheros, eggs over medium, half and half red and green sauce. (I didn't check to see if they'd undertand if I ordered it "Christmas style.") It's pretty legit! The red chili is spiced pretty differently than is typical in New Mexico, but it was good all the same. And the green chili is spot on. The refried beans were great, too, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The papas were also good, and made a great base for the remaining sauce. My only (very minor) complaint is that the flour tortilla is pretty small and chewy, not the nice big and fluffy ones you'd get most places in Albuquerque. But this is still way better than anything I can get in Seattle, so I'm still super happy with it.

Legit New Mexican food, hearty and reasonably priced. Loved my smothered green chile breakfast burrito and the sopapillas with honey. I lived in Northern New Mexico for a while and this transported my tastebuds back in time. In response to a few reviews, this is not Mexican food. This is New Mexican food. For the same reason, the green chile here is different than what is often served in Colorado: it's New Mexico style. To enjoy it, respect that it's doing its own thing. If you're hankering for a taste of Santa Fe, this is a good spot.

I drove the two minutes and parked right in front of the front doors. Something that made me really happy as I could see my dogs in my car from my seat in the restaurant. As soon as we walked in, a beautiful woman named Rhonda, seated us. She turned out to be our server as well. The restaurant was really clean, simple and well organized. Our booth was comfortable and the decor was pleasant. Our drink order was taken within a minute of sitting down and our food order five minutes after that. I ordered French toast and my friend ordered a vegetarian breakfast burrito. Our food came quickly, about ten minutes or, and it was hot and well made. My French toast was excellent. The real gem was the vegetarian breakfast burrito. It might be the best he or I had ever had. Impressed would be a huge understatement. Thank you Rhonda for being excellent at your job. It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!

Wow. Seriously wow. I've never said this before, but if there was a 6 star option on Yelp,…read moreMezcaleria Alma would get it. Everything is perfection from the delicious food, the outstanding service, and the beautiful decor. I know this sounds like hyperbole but dining here was an experience I'll never forget. Let's start with the food. Everything was perfection. Our favorite was the aguachile de erizo (scallops and uni). The Santa Barbara uni is to die for. I'm not even a fan of uni nor scallops but the dish was so good especially with the aguachile. Do not skip that dish especially if you like a little bit of spicy. The Tostada del Toro was next up. This is the dish that everyone gets here and for good reason. First off, look at all those chives. The tostada shell was amazing with a nice charred taste to it and the aged toro (aged 3-6 days) was so flavorful and melted in the mouth. The burrata con huitlacoche was the most unique burrata dish I have ever had. The combination of the toasted bread, savory burrata, sweet nut crunch, and the unique taste of huitlacoche (Mexican caviar) was so well-done and just all fit so well together. Last but not least, the tres leches. Hands down, the best dessert I have ever had. Not too sweet and just heavenly. Do not skip this. I'm pretty sure I said "wow" after every bite. Second, drinks. I love mezcal. If you are a fan of mezcal or tequila, this place is a must go. I was given a free birthday shot with a side of crickets (I hate bugs but try it, it's actually really good), orange, and wormsalt. We got the Stinger and Colada. I was warned that the Stinger is a love it or hate it drink. I personally enjoyed it but it is very in your face with the herbal taste. The Colada is much easier. Last but not least, the service. Jorge, the sous chef, deserves 6 stars alone. He really elevated our experience which was already great to next level. He took care of us professionally while also being very personable. I would highly recommend getting a seat at the chef's table if you can. If you are celebrating an occasion, trying to impress a date, or just want a phenomenal meal, I can't recommend Mezcaleria Alma enough. I'll be back soon!

Super attentive, checking in often without being too much. 9.5/10. The loud music makes it tough to hear other tables, but since the seating is close and intimate, you can still easily hear the people you're with, which I actually liked. Food was elevated across the board. The tostada de toro was the standout. So fresh, perfectly balanced, creamy from the avocado with a nice crunch from the shell and sesame seeds. 9.5/10. Everything else was solid and flavorful, just not as memorable. Around 7.5/10 across those dishes. Drinks were good too. The daiquiri had a fun bubble gum flavor that I actually liked. 8/10. The corn sour was interesting with the mezcal base and surprisingly worked. 7/10. Loved that the drinks were strong. Overall, a really solid Michelin experience with great vibes and standout bites.
