I had the Huevos Rancheros with red chile sauce and my nephew had the smothered Chorizo burrito with red sauce too. Estupendoso! Then they had the nerve to bring out free sopapollas towards the end of the meal. Has heaven been reached already! Delicious.

Loved this spot!!! The best breakfast, burritos served ALL DAY. They even have margs if that's your vibe. Staff was sweet, we got a booth by the window which was just perfect. Tried my chile on the side so I could really taste them each & they're both great (but I liked the green better!) The burritos can come smothered. Def consider this for your next brunch spot

Little Anita's is a no-frills, Southwestern Mexican restaurant with good food and outstanding customer service. The restaurant began in Albuquerque, and this is their lone Denver location. There is plenty of on-site parking and comfortable indoor seating, and they provide both dine-in and take-out service. Little Anita's survived COVID because they were pliable and had elite customer service. Pricing is VERY reasonable. My Way Better Half loved her chicken fajita and said it is consistently a great selection. Served with refried beans, pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and three homemade flour tortillas. I enjoyed my Carne Asada Burrito de Mexico, a considerable portion with Spanish rice and beans, and I had them add Green Chile, which made it terrific. The service is kind, but it is also impeccable and genuine.

    Huevos rancheros, Christmas style

I grew up in New Mexico but have lived in Seattle for most of my adult life. Every time I visit my parents it is obligatory to eat as much New Mexican food as possible. So when I took a trip to Denver and ended up staying close to this place I knew I had to check it out I ordered the huevos rancheros, eggs over medium, half and half red and green sauce. (I didn't check to see if they'd undertand if I ordered it "Christmas style.") It's pretty legit! The red chili is spiced pretty differently than is typical in New Mexico, but it was good all the same. And the green chili is spot on. The refried beans were great, too, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The papas were also good, and made a great base for the remaining sauce. My only (very minor) complaint is that the flour tortilla is pretty small and chewy, not the nice big and fluffy ones you'd get most places in Albuquerque. But this is still way better than anything I can get in Seattle, so I'm still super happy with it.

Legit New Mexican food, hearty and reasonably priced. Loved my smothered green chile breakfast burrito and the sopapillas with honey. I lived in Northern New Mexico for a while and this transported my tastebuds back in time. In response to a few reviews, this is not Mexican food. This is New Mexican food. For the same reason, the green chile here is different than what is often served in Colorado: it's New Mexico style. To enjoy it, respect that it's doing its own thing. If you're hankering for a taste of Santa Fe, this is a good spot.

Although some tables were occupied, the restaurant was far from busy. After the receptionist sat us in/at one of the spacious booths, our waitstaff immediately came to us to greet us. Our super attentive waitstaff, Gladys helped us with our needs throughout our quick 1-hour dinner. Thanks, Gladys; your warm smile was sure evidence that we were valued as guests. What we got tonight were: -Spicy Mango Ceviche ($17) -Bean and Cheese Burrito ($9) -Crispy Sweet Potato Tacos ($16) -Brown Sugar Caramel Flan ($9) for to-go If I go ahead and rank them from the best to the least good (LOL) here it is: 1. Crispy Sweet Potato Tacos - Simply exquisite. Vegetarian (possibly vegan) dish which you don't have to compromise your satisfaction or craving. Not only what's inside the tortilla but the tortilla itself was also amazing. It's a corn kind. We have never tasted anything like this before. 2. Spicy Mango Ceviche - Good portion for the price. The spiciness is noticeable but anybody can handle this level of heat. A visible amount of shrimp was evident in it. The mango pieces were diced a bit smaller than what I would want to see and taste but all in all, this is a solid dish as well. 3. Brown Sugar Caramel Flan - I took a bite of it later when we were home. Candidly stating, it wasn't as great as I hoped would be as it somewhat lacked that typical flan flavors. It also wasn't dense enough. It was passable with adequacy and acceptableness is the best way to describe it. 4. Bean and Cheese Burrito - Was my least favorite dish for the night and yet, this too, wasn't a bad dish. If you are vegetarian, then this definitely is one of the safest bets you can choose from the menu. If I am to order this again, however,I will ask for a little modification: add cilantro rice to it. I am pretty sure this should easily be done at a place like Blanco; I have no doubt. The restaurant is spacious in both the main dining area and the bar. The bar was empty except for one solo guest that sat in the center of it. For some reason, this image created an incredible ambience where I was compelled to take a photo of it (I uploaded it so please make sure to view it.)

He didn't deserve any, We had to ask for water, salsa, rounds of drinks, a knife (which was never delivered) . We ordered tableside guac, he said it would be 10-15 minutes before he could do it. I knew he didn't want to do I did a time check, and 23 minutes later, no tableside guac, Marcus was often not seen at his other tables nor on the floor during this time, one might say he was missing in action. He had plenty of coworkers standings in the back area in front of the soda dispenser. He came to our table at 25 after and said it would be another 10-15 minutes before he could start the guac, and did we want it. 45 minutes for tableside quac? No. The tableside guac cart did not move the entire time we were thereabd one guy used it one time to make quac and then took it to a table I could not see. If you know Los Dos, that cart never collects dust, they are know for thier tableside guac; it is normally always in service. PATHETIC!!!! None of us will ever be back. We may not patronize the original location at Holly or Kipling and C470 again. This is NOT the Los Dos the family started years ago and that we fell in love with. Sad and pathetic! I heard they have a new bartender at the Holly location and the margaritas are aweful. Go to Caddy Snack Cantina, great service, food, drinks, and much better prices. And you aren't run out after having just at down. I gave this one star as the food was fine. Not great, but edible. Marcus was awful!!!!!

The green sauce was vibrant and fresh and really a balanced the rest of the dish. The tuna empanada like thing was also good. Love the blue corn shell. The sauce had ants in it though which kind of freaked me out, but it did taste good. Although I knew this was a tuna dish, I didn't know what to expect. Kind of wish the tuna was maybe seared or was something different, but I did like the dish. The short ribs were so tender and delicious. The tortillas were fresh and wonderful as well. The tres leches dessert was also really tasty and had the perfect ratio of cake to milk without it all falling apart from being too wet. In terms of drinks, the corn sour and beet spritz were absolutely amazing. The Negroni was good as well but I think I prefer a classic Italian one. Service was good although sometimes I felt like our server was watching us too closely and I felt weird. In addition on two separate occasions, the cooks that brought the food out touched the food on our plates to make it look nicer. I want to trust that they are clean, but in this day and age of new food poisonings happening all the time, and the fact that they had to open the door since we were outside, I just felt kind of gross about it. Nevertheless the food was absolutely delicious and honestly was worth the price for sure. The food here was much better than some top restaurants in nyc for a fraction of the price. Waited 45 minutes as walk in on Friday night around 8 pm and was definitely worth it.

Dreamy Chef Owen took care of us at the Chef's Table, encouraging us to start with a Clover Club (her) and a Colada (him), both of which made our first dish, the Tostada de Tora, taste smoove like velvet. From there it was a cacophony of flava', from Mollete de Mejillones to Carne Apache, and from Flautas de Pollo to Barriga de Cerdo. Because Kelly and I are Monarch alumni, we also paired a Carajillo with our dessert of Tres Leches, just like Brother Aquinas taught us. Excellent from start to finish, I live by the rule that if you're gonna do one, you might as well do the other, as is the case with both Alma Fonda Fina and Mezcaleria Alma, two pillars of the Denver dining scene.
