The first thing that caught my eye - almond croissant with toasted crunchy extra and beautifully moist almond meal interior... We chose a feta and spinach roll and a pork and fennel sausage roll to share. Unfortunately, both were underwhelming. The pastry in each case was soft and greasy rather than crisp and flaky. While we understand that arriving late in the day can affect freshness, the fillings were also disappointing. The spinach and feta was overly salty and lacked texture, and the pork and fennel filling was a smooth, pink, salty paste with no discernible pork or fennel flavour. At $9.40 each, the quality didn't justify the price--we would have been better off buying frozen sausage rolls from the supermarket and baking them at home.

Once the box was opened the cupcakes were admired and hungry mouths were ready to move in for the kill. The cupcakes are generous portion size and are sinfully delicious.
