Sadly, Michael's is on their way out in stocking paper crafts. I went tonight and was very…read moredisappointed in the selection of paper crafts. Only 2 aisles were delegated to paper crafts. I didn't find anything I was looking for in the store. Mostly, solid paper pads and very few prints. Sticker section and embellishment section were not great either. I see all the time ladies putting Michael hauls on Youtube videos. Well, the Michael's close to me never has anything to offer on their shelves in Northern Indiana. I will be doing all my paper craft shopping on the internet from now on. I can always find what I'm looking for there. Pretty sad the way things are going and why stores go out of business.

To start off the gentleman that started helping, older gentleman, let us look through their bins of sterling that hasn't been priced. Which I enjoyed. But when my friend mentioned how I know a lot about stones/diamonds/jewelry, he started mansplaining the same stuff we already knew. He started just talking and talking trying to seem knowledgeable while lying about certain things, which my friend researched on, and not being able to guarentee the authenticity of designer pieces. In addition, when I found the ring a liked I noticed the head was tilting because the metal by the head was too thin. I would think since he bragged about them being the bench jewelers for 8 different places he would offer to fix the ring. Nothing of that sort, and gave me a price that was only fair if it did not look like it would snap in one days wear. Overall while the selection was good the experience was horrible. I'm usually an extrovert but that experience made me so quiet and uncomfortable. It is sad because I just moved here and I thought it would be the place to grow my collection. And maybe it is just him since the other younger gentleman was interacting with other people. Just a horrible experience. I don't appreciate, and I'm sure no one does, getting talked down to like we don't know anything.

The guy that took care of us was friendly and was quick at asking us if we found everything we needed and was very happy and thanked us for bringing business.
