Leftover orzo because I was too busy enjoying the dinner to take photos that evening
    Elizabeth L.

Visited for a friends birthday dinner and sat outside to enjoy what turned out to be a gorgeous evening weather wise. Hospitable staff and the space outside while it sits in the parking lot offers an escape from the view of cars with the added panel just above the height of your head making it feels mor me like a little oasis than a seat in the lot haha. The drink menu was expansive and I landed on a cocktail with my name in it haha the Lizatini which was refreshing and impeccably well balanced not too sweet and each element had a place in the vessel no one stealing the show. The rest of the ladies all enjoyed their drinks respectively and shared in my complements of fantastic bar tending. The food was equally stand out: Appetizers: Lithos Chips- 10/10 Ample serving, thinly sliced without being drenched in grease and a perfect shareable dish for 4 Spanakopita 9/10 It was yummy but honestly didn't blow me out of the water and slightly bias since I spent most of the time saving room for the main course Mains: Short ribs 10/10 This isn't my personal review but my friend ate the whole dish and the meat looked like a healthy portion and seemed to be perfectly flaking off with each forkful would definitely try and paired with string beans and fingerling potatoes Chicken souvlaki Seemed like a basic dish but the portions again were huge and the skewers were filled with ample chunks of chicken that seemed to be pretty tender again not my dish but rave reviews from the two who ordered it and left with leftovers. The sides looked yummy too Orzo a La Ouzo 10/10 This was mine. Hands down delicious and when it comes to a piping hot orzo dish you often are left with the conundrum of whether it will be el dente or over cooked. This was hot out the gate and perfectly cooked, sauce was tremendous without drowning the dish and a sampling of fresh feta adding a bit of texture and tartness. The shrimp (about 6) pieces were jumbo sized and I left with a generous portion do lunch the next day. Leftovers did not disappoint! Overall I would say food was 10/10 Service and ambience 10/10 I'm on the fence about the pricing and value, portions are great and execution but $38 for orzo seemed steep, short rib was $40. I would reserve this place for a special occasion rather than a regular go to ... or see if they have that orzo for lunch ... still dreaming about it.

I can here for Father's Day and it's definitely a great local place with quality food. We had the oysters which were very fresh and delicious. We also had the tuna tartare and octopus to start. The tartare was solid and the octopus was cooked well. For entrees we had the lamb chops, Branzino, shrimp scampi, and braised short rib. All the dishes were very filling and tasted good. My favorite entree had to be the braised short ribs. Again, a solid local place for an occasion.

I did my wedding rehearsal dinner at Lithos and was blown away by the entire experience! Alban was so easy to work with from the start. He is very responsive over email. The family style appetizers were plentiful and delicious. The entrees were fancy and tasted incredible. There were many entree options for my guests to choose from. The restaurant served the food in a very timely manner and the servings were large. The event space was also gorgeous and was closed off from the rest of the restaurant, making our event very private. They also had a microphone for us to use for the speeches. The restaurant also provides beautiful table lighting which creates a romantic vibe to your event. The restaurant is very clean and the food presentation was beautiful. I am very impressed by Alban's character. A few days after my event, Alban realized his server accidentally over-charged me. My husband and I didn't notice, were thrilled with our event, and didn't think twice. Alban reached out to us to refund us the money. I was sincerely impressed by this. Many business owners would have not acted so ethically. Lithos will always have my business. Thank you for everything you have done for me!

Really enjoyed it here! Really good appetizers. This was for lunch so it wasn't the full dinner menu. But it was very tasty. We got three apps, one was lobster - delightful, a crab cake which was good and a portobello mushroom topped with mozz. For lunch I had the scallops with couscous. Very good, a colleague got the Bronzino which was prepared bone out. Another colleague got the lamb chops. They looked exceptional.

One of my girlfriends and I got together to get lunch and tried this spot out. When we arrived we parked in their parking area. We walked in and had a warm greeting from Ander one of the servers and he was very nice. The place was very nice. We decided to sit at the bar and was served by the owner and we didn't even know was the owner, Alban. He was very nice, he even gave me an extra pour of the pinot nior I was drinking. My friend ordered a cucumber drink and liked it. For our meals we both got the blackened chicken sandwich and it was very tasty. They used a special honey mustard which was super tasty. We really enjoyed our time.

Sonny and tequila. Try this tequila- really great flavor.

Incredible find!! I don't know how I ha ENT been to this place before. The decor and ambiance are upscale but warm and casual. Loved the balance of wood, metal and stones that really brought out the fireplace. Sonny was our server and was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. We ordered a few appetizers- hummus, eggplant and taziki trio, the tuna tartare and lobster rolls. Each item topped the other. We were stuffed. The staff is just incredible. The food is simply clean and delicious. The owner, Alban, stopped by and ensured our dinner was point which it was. He chatted and shared some stories that just added more entertainment for our dinner. We stayed longer than we had planned. Can't wait to go back. Must try! Highly recommend!

I learned the owner actually is from Athens, and they use his family's recipes. We started with the spinach pie--perfectly flaky and so fresh. Then we got a bunch of spreads: spicy feta, tzatziki, Greek hummus, Greek caviar, and eggplant... honestly could've just eaten this with pita and been happy! The grilled halloumi was unreal. And if you like soup, get the avgolemono--it's so comforting and probably even better when you're under the weather. For mains, we did shrimp skewers with lemon potatoes (so good) and a beef and lamb gyro with fries--classic, dripping with flavor, and done right. The Mediterranean chicken burger was juicy and something new to try. And of course, dessert: ravani cake and walnut cake... both so good, moist, and not overly sweet. They even have a little market inside with imported Greek olive oils and snacks, which I loved. Definitely one of those places you go when you want something authentic and cozy!

I don't know why we haven't frequented this spot sooner (at least during trips back home), but EVOO is legit. Also NOTE - its BYOB (but there are even some places nearish by you can grab a bottle or 3 if needed). Our server was very attentive, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. For apps, we decided on the: Hummus - how do you properly judge a Mediterranean restaurant without trying their hummus, and this was creamy, decadent and served with some fresh pita. Grilled Calamari (with roasted red pepper, lemon, evoo, capers, red onions) - very nicely cooked, not rubbery at all Grilled Octopus (with roasted red peppers, fava puree, capers, onions, red wine vinegar, arugula, evoo) - if octopus is on the menu, I'm gonna have it. For my entree, I got the pan-seared scallops with cauliflower puree, quinoa, spinach, heirloom tomato. Loved it. Cooked perfectly, loooved the silky puree...just a solid solid dish. All in all, EVOO definitely deserves to be on the Millburn/Essex shortlist when looking for nicer places to dine out. Can't wait to get back and try some more of their menu!

I'm seeing many 3-4 star reviews from fellow Yelpers and I keep thinking that perhaps my experience…read morewas a singular one. The two stars I'm giving here is for the restaurant itself. This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).
