Not a $1 or $2 mark up that I'd expect, no! $3 and $4's! 12 pack of Truly's for $20, is crazy. Even the guy behind the counter remarked that things are pretty overpriced. Dunno if he was trying to be funny or really felt that way but it was a nice laugh. It's nice it's here but Grove Liquors definitely won't be my first choice.

Not to mention when I go whale watching I take wine, hard seltzers, and pair them with New England style lobster rolls. Joe Canal's has shatterproof wine in various choices; Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Riesling, and Sangria. The prices are better than Costco's and BJ's in my humble opinion. They also carry high end cognac, tequila, scotch, and champagne. The service is wonderful, friendly, helpful, and they are very knowledgeable about all of the various alcoholic beverages they sell. The atmosphere is very organized, sections of the store have signs making it easy to find the type of alcohol you're searching for. The store has a section for THC- hard seltzers, and sodas. Never tried a THC- drink, too bad this was not around during college days. But it's here now, and as soon as I get the nerve to try it, will give a review. They're usually fully stocked on whatever I need but today they weren't :( ... but it wasn't a big deal because I found alternatives since they have such a wide selection. Checkout was quick and easy, and I learned they have a rewards program you can sign up for using your phone number. This location is conveniently tucked inside the Essex Green Shopping Plaza, right across from ShopRite.
